Yeah, the stuff with the bugs was creepy enough, but then they had to bring spiders in...I pretty much looked away from the television during that part of the episode. Me no like spiders. Ick. I really liked the scene with JJ and that girl at the end, too. I felt so bad for her. And this disease they kept talking about throughout the episode (or supposed disease, I guess, since it's apparently a controversial one)...yeow. Sounds very odd.
I was surprisingly ok with the bugs stuff...(and I hate and get creeped by cockroaches..you should've seen me scream when I found one at my home), maybe because it wasn't near me? lol it only was truly creepy/gross to me when he was cutting his arm or whatever and taking out blood...YIKES! haha anyway, I enjoyed this episode better... less Kate (though I like her scene with JJ) and more on the characters that I love :) love the Rossi moment, LOVE the JJ moment, amused by the Cheetos appearance and I'm not a shipper but I'm so happy JJ & Hotch finally shared a nice moment of talking...I feel last time that happened was in either season 6 or 7 or something! lol! either way reminds me the good old days when they were doing some sharing and I thought that little scene was sweet.
Yeah I voted "awesome" :p
and I know we should feel bad/understanding to that girl but she was so frustrating and yelling at my fav. character... that is not acceptable ;)
Yeah, the cutting/blood stuff got to me much more. But still, the cockroaches roaming all over that guy was crazy and all sorts of ew. The spiders were the part of all of that that bothered me the most, though-that and Reid pulling the (living, no less) bug out of that guy's nose. Ick. I must've missed the Cheetos moment! I'll have to check for that again! I did like the moment between JJ and Hotch, they've always had good interactions. I actually thought, given JJ's discussion with that girl at the end about help and the girl being so paranoid and whatnot, that she and Reid would have a talk as well. Considering his mom's history with her own paranoid thoughts and the frustration of wanting to help someone in that sort of mental state and not being able to, that could've made for a good moment as well-if there was anything I would've added to the episode, it'd be that. I did like that Reid brought some of his expertise regarding unusual illnesses/delusions in to help with this case, though. Oh, actually I did mean that I felt bad for JJ in that scene, ha-sorry if I didn't make that clear! She looked so frustrated and helpless and I was like, "Aw...". I did feel for the other girl, too, 'cause clearly she's got...issues, to put it mildly, but still, yeah, I don't know that I could handle listening to her rant like that for too long.
I really gotta go to work so I'll have to really comment later I guess :))
gosh, I'm so tempted to watch the next episode's promo but I said to myself I'll avoid spoilers and promos and episode descriptions to be totally surprised (only came to comment on the episode through main page..not going to that CM tag XD) yeah, good luck right? ;)
anyway, yeah, idk the cockroaches stuff seemed actually a tiny bit amusing... it reminded me The Mummy somehow, haha and about the one in the nose, yeah, pretty grouse but somehow I think Reid's hand in the toilet pulling out used...... in 9x15 yeah that was worse O_o
Pretty sure was Cheetos... it was when they were sitting eating/drinking lol it seems the right package. And see, I think the last couple of seasons had been rather lacking in the JJ-Hotch bonding so I'm really glad we got this! (I mean I know he saved her life in 200 and helped her in & out of ambulance and they do team up lot, but I missed a talk like this! really reminds me the good old days). About the Reid thing you bring a very good point, and yet I just love the way it was...just Hotch/JJ (IMHO long overdue) and a little break from JJ/Reid (whom I love/d but could use a tiny break). Heck yeah, about Rossi! they should let him use his badass expertise more often ;) & oh that's ok! lol haha poor JJ and yet I wanna re-watch the scene already! it was so intense! the episode actually made me wonder did the BAU somehow helped creating another Unsub? she seems slipping to that direction...anyway maybe I'm a really little bit feel sorry for her.
That's fine! Go do what you gotta do, right :)? Ohhhh, the promo for next week's episode is...eesh. It looks like a creepy, creepy episode, I'll say that much. LOL, I know what you mean, though, yeah-it's awfully tempting, isn't it? If you want to hold out, I shall root for you to succeed in doing so :D! Oh, 'The Mummy' is a good comparison! You're right, it was a bit like that! Aha, oh, yeah, I remember the toilet thing, too. Yeah. That definitely ranks up there on the "gross" list...the charmed life of being an FBI agent, eh? Neat. Yeah, sometime in the next few days I'll rewatch and see if I can spot that-I like those random little bits of continuity. We have, you're right-they haven't really had a lot of close scenes together. They always seemed to click particularly well in their chats given they're both parents and can relate to each other on that level, as well as the fact that they just seem to share a mutual sort of respect and admiration for each other. So yeah, it was nice to see a scene between them again outside of the rescue sorts of moments like the ones you note from "200"-hopefully for your sake we'll have a few more! No, yeah, that's totally fair. I admit to being a Reid/JJ shipper, and even putting that aside I just really like their friendship, too, so that kind of has me a little biased in that regard...:p. But even so, you're right that those two have had more moments together than JJ and Hotch have, so yeah, never hurts to switch it up a little as a result and let JJ bond with one of the other team members again. Heck, I'd love some more JJ/Garcia friendship stuff, those two had an adorable friendship that was often featured in the first few seasons of the show especially, and they haven't had nearly as many scenes together lately, either, so I'd be up for that changing again, too. They definitely should! I'm all for him showing he can be just as tough physically as he can with his snarky, sarcastic personality. It was intense. I always like it when the show lets us have some powerful moments like that, where a team member has to deal with an unsub only for it to not always work out the way they hope, and they have to deal with the results of that, they have to be reminded that despite their best efforts they won't always be able to help people. It's an interesting thing to explore, even if only for an occasional scene here and there. Good question! I can easily see where, if she doesn't get help, she could one day pose a serious danger to others along with herself. That guy wound up being an unsub, and she seemed empowered by his behavior, so...yeah. Wouldn't surprise me at all. I always wonder about those people on the show who were creepy in their own right but weren't the actual unsubs...you wonder whatever did become of them. But even if she does go that route, yeah, she'd likely be a sympathetic unsub...I like to think she'll eventually get the help she needs, though, and be okay. I'm optimistic that way :).
I thought the episode was good, but I just felt like there was something missing... Loved the scene with JJ and the other girl, Jane I think. Somehow looked like a break-up, it was so awkward!

Bugs gross spiders not so nice .. JJ had a strong scene at the end.. Rossie with a left hook to the unsub nice !!
