I like the show enough without some romance, but a little bit of action between Halstead and Lindsay really wouldn't hurt! When I read they were going undercover, I got a little excited thinking they might have an awkward fake couple kiss....then I was let down. I just love misleading advertisements. They were UC for what…10 seconds? And all they did was stand in line. :/
It was a very intense episode, I knew those bad guys didn't know who they were robbing, you don't want to mess with Hank Voight or his family, I was so pleasantly surprised to see the reason he wanted his bag back so badly, his wife's ring, he meant it when he said it wasn't about the money, I did think for a moment Olive set him Up!
Loving this season.. hoping Erin doesn't go though. And how long are they going to wait to have Erin and Jay hook up. You can tell they want to, damn Hank lol. Not a huge fan of Olive though, I don't know what it is about her I just can't care about her. She doesnt have that appeal. They could of picked a better actress to play her. Other then that loving this season, love the stories, the chemistry of the cast is great.
Loved the episode despite no Linstead, relieved that Voight did not cross the line even tough he was tempted. Ruzek/Olinsk's talk awesome, reverse dynamic - Ruzek the one giving advice.
I am pretty sure Erin is not going anywhere, but at least opens this the possibility of Erin and Jay getting together... It seems that the writers got spooked, we are getting less Lindstead as ever. The teaser for this episode that Erin and Jay go undercover was a joke, it is a pity season 1 was great regarding the chemistry between these two and now just nothing - which seems strange.
For the first time I enjoyed Roman/Burgess, Roman wasn't hostile and they had a nice dynamic together. Keep it up!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteJustin...! Oh how I've missed him. Hopefully he'll be in a few more episodes.

That's a great offer Erin got there! Is it weird that I am proud of a fictional character?
ReplyDeleteIt's more than normal. Sometimes I get pissed at their behaviour, it's crazy.
