It was a great episode, good action, I love Diggle, Oliver speaking in spanish... Everything was ok but Laurel? She's still sooo boring to me. All the drama Lance is sooo boring, I don't want to see her transformation on BC. And I love Katrina Law, so I'm glad to see Nyssa again :D
I'm slightly disappointed with this one, the Corto Maltese plot was a little bit meh for me, it was supposed to be a Diggle centric episode but Diggle deserves better, honestly!
I loved Thea, though, she's a lot different, but it's a good change! Is great that Oliver told her some secrets without things getting too melodramatic between them.
So far I'm onboard with Laurel's plot this season. For once I can understand her motivation, so that's a good start. With that said, I don't get why she would ask a guy she doesn't know and apparently doesn't trust to train her. Oliver telling her that he wouldn't train her was expected but still... maybe I'm just being a bit nitpicky. BTW, can anyone tell Det. Lance what happened to Sara ASAP?
Kudos for Ray being less creepy! He's still a little shady, though. Felicity is EA no more, but I'm the only one who thinks is weird that she's got the former CEO's office? Is she CEO now? I didn't get that. Can't wait to see her on The Flash next week. Oliver's triple eyeroll when she told them she was going to work was priceless!
I really wanna know more about Roy. Sometimes I feel like we barely know the guy.
I already feel so sorry for Nyssa. Next week Oliver finds out Malcolm is alive! Can't wait!
Nope. Felicity is going to be on The Flash next week. The present day timeline for both shows run concurrently. I'm loving Laurel's development. I like the fact she thoroughly got her arse handed to her. Growing pains if you want to became a vigilante. How awesome were those makeshift bows Oliver made! Great action sequence with Diggie and Roy. Loved the scenes with Thea and Malcolm. There's definitely a motive with him. This was an awesome episode! Can't wait for next week.
I kind of want to scream at the tv everytime Thea goes off on a tangent about how everybody lied to her. Moira did lied to Thea her entire life, so I get her anger towards her mother. However, it was good for Thea to hear from Oliver that the Queens were her parents and they loved their children so much that they didn't hesitate to put their children's welfare above their own, even when it came to making the ultimate sacrifice to save Oliver and Thea. Thea's anger towards Oliver for keeping her paternity a secret is completely misplaced. Oliver knew only for a few weeks. During that time, he was tormented about what was the right thing to do.
Having said that, what really makes me want to go aaarrghh!! where Thea is concerned is her hypocrisy. Thea wants to talk about loyalty. How loyal is it for Thea to turn to Malcomb who she knows was the mastermind behind the Undertaking and responsible for so much death and destruction. Thea lost Tommy who was not only a friend she had known her entire life, but also her half-brother in that disaster. How truthful is it for Thea to lie to everyone in her life about she has spent the last six months with a man who everyone thinks is dead, including Oliver. So I really don't want to hear Thea drone on about how important truth and loyalty is to her when she cannot bring herself to follow her own rules.
I think Merlyn knew it was Oliver, didn't he call for Thea?
My guess is that Merlyn REALLY doesen't want to kill Oliver as he would certainly also kill Theas trust in him if he did. He did seem nerveous about Ra's though his "if someone knew where I am it would become dangerous for the both of us" was surely not referring to Oliver Loved his relationship with Thea
I'm dreading next weeks episode...don't kill him...
Laurel and Thea are my top characters this season, I can't wait to see the entire path of their journeys, specially Laurel. Pretty sweet to comic fans the Mia wink :)
The Thea storyling with Malcolm has a lot of potential. And I really loved the scene between she and Oliver where he tells her about Robert. I liked that we got just a bit more insight into what Ray is up to as well. I wasn't feeling any chemistry between Laurel and Ted at all. It was almost awful and totally unbelievable. "I can read your type, here's a brochure". Everything about Laurel's story tonight was predictable. And I'm tired of her playing as pushy and demanding. The action in Corto with the boys was fun, especially making the arrows, and I wouldn't mind seeing the return of Mark Shaw later. But the highlight for me in this episode by far was Diggle. God bless that man.
okay, Laurel is amazing I knew she would ask Ollie for help but I also knew he would say NO. lol I loved that he couldn't do it. that scene between them was intense. One thing though he told Roy no too but we all saw how that turned out. I am interested in seeing how Laurel breaks him down because I doubt that Ted will be training her for long the dude doesn't stick around, he's out by ep 7. Anyway, loved the ep and Thea can't wait to see what she is up to.
Oliver did call for Thea, but he was pretty far away from the door. He could've just heard the knock? Idk, it just seemed weird. Actually, no, i think he was nervous, b/c if Oliver knows he's alive that means that Ra's would know, and he would be hunted. That's who he was referring to in the limo scene. (which was great btw)
IDT Meryln is going anywhere any time soon, especially since he's a regular this season. No worries, you can breathe. : )
Regarding Laurel does anyone else find it weird how she was so capable of kicking ass back in season 1 and the beginning of season 2 and now she can't handle 1 guy. Does anyone else remember how badass she was with those security guards when she fought next to Tommy and Oliver.
Totally get that but it would have been nice to see her actually using some moves instead of just hitting him with a stick. Its like the show wants to forget she ever had training solely for the sake of delaying her journey. I mean it would have been more realistic to have Laurel threaten the guy with a gun we know she uses. In any case I love the journey they have for Laurel.
"I can read your type, here's a brochure." Hahahahahahahahahahahaha That was funny. I actually didn't mind that scene, but your comment on it was hilarious. It took me about 3 minutes to read the next sentence. lol
An episode where I LOVED every second of Laurel's storyline. Keep it up writers. She was interesting and actually proved the idea that she could be convincing with training and becoming Black Canary.
Anyone know if she will develop the canary cry now that Flash is a success. I always thought that was the coolest power in the dc universe and it would be a great way of making sure that Laurel is seen as the original canary and not just following her sisters footsteps. They have already introduced metahumans on the Flash and with Roy at one point possessing powers I don't see why Laurel couldn't one day develop some powers of her own. Obviously without forgetting her combat training. The thing is for me Black Canary is synonymous with the power of sonic scream and in my opinion you can't have one without the other.
Not sure what to think of Laurel's new direction just yet..... Glad they made her attempt at becoming a heroine more difficult than just donning a leather jacket. Even if this is the most I've enjoyed her character on the series I still find her character annoying. Kinda like ungodly annoying yapping small dogs that charge at my ankles and make me want to punt them across the room as you yell at them "SHUT UP ALREADY!"
- Seeing Felicity get the set up and job she deserves was fun, but it being at the expense of having to watch Ray Palmer lessens my enjoyment extremely! - Diggle has had a nice year so far. Much to my surprise I'm enjoying the new family dynamic. - I like the Thea and Malcolm interaction, but John Barrowman is just entertaining with anyone! XD - Great to see Roy actually have some lines this week... Even some decent acting scenes and one-liners!
I liked Team Arrow 2.0 Road Trip Edition! Ollie Macgyvering bows and arrows was comical, but the action as always was well done and a lot of fun!
A pretty solid episode overall, but not as good as the previous two this season.
No definitive answer. But I'd lean more towards a no because the EPs always talk about how they want Arrow to be a 'grounded' show and the canary cry is not grounded whatsoever.
Funny that! I hated him last week but liked him more this week. He actually appreciates Felicity which is a nice change. Girl needs to be appreciated more.
It wasn't really supposed to be Diggle centric, judging from every promo, sneak peek and press release and the episode itself it was a Thea and Laurel one.
I still don't like him, lol just to clarify. He has to do something for me to try and like him. Like really do something. But he just didn't bother me tonight.
decent ep... liked the reveal of Thea's time with Merlyn and her training... I just hope none of his psychopathic beliefs rubbed off on her... the Diggle side mission was nice that all the guys got to play and the goal was a reinforcement for Dig that he was protecting his family while raising more suspicion justifiably about Waller... you just know that he and Ollie will eventually have a conversation after we find out what she was trying to use Ollie for in Hong Kong, I just hope they don't take all season to get to it... didn't realize it at the time as I'm not completely familiar with the B Canary lore, but interesting interpretation of Laurel getting training by a youngish Ted Grant, who runs the "Wildcats gym" according to a sign in the background... I was told that BC was mentored by an older hero, "Wildcat" who taught her how to fight initially. Nice reintro with Nyssa at the end and segue for Felicity to go make her appearance on the Flash next week
loved it, thea going under the "Mia" alias was so cool and i want thea and roy to get back together i can tell she's still in love with him, still love palmer he's hilarious but i wonder what he's planning to do with those weapons, loving diggle, lyla and baby sara, i wonder what merlyn really wants with thea because i don't believe he cares about her one bit, that conversation with oliver and laurel was great and it shows that the show didn't just forget about sara and it looks like it's the beginning of laurel becoming the black canary, the nyssa cliffhanger was great i thought we'd see her entrance next week not at the end of the episode so that surprised me, loved roy and oliver's scenes
Nice episode. I guess with Ted Grant in the picture, there was no way Oliver was going to train Laurel. That's ok I can live with that, since in the end she will join Team Arrow first then venture off.
Favorite moment was when Oliver showed his true marksmanship with the gun. - He still needs to teach Roy more, but Roy is doing good. - I'm glad Oliver caught that something was different with Thea at the end, I would been a bit mad if he didn't after all his years of experience and training.
Good for Felicity and her new office, but I just hoped she didn't help Ray for the wrong reasons. Not of her fault. I wonder what Ray plans to do really. good or bad we shell see.
It felt really disjointed to me, like we skipped around to 5 or 6 different plots and didn't really flesh out any of them. Which eventually led to it all feeling kinda throw away. I'm figuring/hoping it all adds up, but it will be hard to recall the disparate details when they finally integrate into something important because they weren't interesting enough to retain for several episodes.
I've never taken to Thea and I'd need a lot more training/brainwashing to ever believe she'd learn spanish, sword fighting, and a tolerance to hot liquids in just a few months--did she get jacked into the matrix? Couldn't they have sent the actress to the gym? I mean Stephen Amell works out really hard and the actual actress for Thea has no muscle tone at all. Both her and Laurel are treading on dangerous ground: taking tiny tiny girls and pretending they can kick ass. The last kind of trainer Laurel needs is a boxer. I hope it makes more sense in the comics because right now that frustrates the heck out of me. No punch Laurel throws is gonna be much more than a distraction and boxers don't know how to fight, they know how to box. The stunt guys must work hard, but they've never been good about camouflaging that no one is actually connecting on any of the hits--they miss by a mile--that group takedown was so bad about that. I felt like stuff got better last season, but these were bad. Roy was falling down on every punch.
There were good moments and lots of great Diggle time, but I'd like a better throughline. This is when I regret binging on a show, the weekly misses seems so much more important because you've been waiting for them.
The flashbacks were Thea centric, but David Ramsey did a bunch of interviews this week (E! Online, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety.com, comicbook.com...) talking about Corto Maltese being a Diggle centric episode.
YUP I know the reason :D lol BTW I told you the scene in the promo when she jumped after hearing the gunshot wasn't from this episode I actually think it was a scene from episode 2 that got cut.
I really liked this episode. This season episodes has a balance that was severely lacking in season 2. Lot of great things happened this episode.
Oliver and Thea - My most favorite relationship in this show. Every moment between them makes me sad that I don't have a big brother. The scene where Oliver talks about his father was beautiful. And his relief when she decided to come back.
Malcolm and Thea - How f***ed up was that dynamic? Malcolm is one sadistic mofo. But it looks like he genuinely cares for Thea and love her very much. He let Thea go. There is something up his sleeves. He is planning to rule the world.
Felicity - I am so happy she got a job deserving her credentials. She got Oliver's old office. I laughed at that. How cool was her dropping everything to help Diggle and throwing shade at Laurel for asking favor. Oliver is still grumpy pants when it comes to Felicity and she couldn't care less
Ray Palmer - Hmm. Your shadiness is showing!! What are you up to?
Roy - CH improved a lot in acting this season. His scene with Thea was really great. I liked it.
Diggle, Lyla and baby Sara - Diggle was so great this episode. I loved the connection and stability Dyla has. I want a Diggle of my own.
Quentin Lance - Will someone please tell Quentin about Sara. This is unnecessary drama. My heart hurts for him.
Laurel, Oliver and Ted Grant - Please stop making Laurel do lawyer stuff. She is not convincing at all. Other than that I felt her anger and desperation this episode. The whole jacket thing still irks me. It is not a magic wand. But Laurel getting kicked and then coming to Oliver asking for training was well done. She is falling apart but she does not want comfort from Oliver. She steps back from him. Oliver is right. Sara will not forgive him if he dragged Laurel into this world. Ted Grant was great. But I expected more interactions between them before Laurel starting training. Him reading her just by her talking two sentence was a stretch. I hope JRR recur through out the season.
Nyssa - Oh baby... You don't know Sara is dead? She is going to rain hell.
Wishes and Predictions: - I hope SA gets to do a cop role after Arrow finishes. I loved Oliver using a gun. He looked extra bad ass. - Once Laurel becomes BC I hope she does seperate missions from Oliver unlike Sara who became a part of Oliver's team. Then in every two or three episodes they can do a joint mission or their seperate missions end up being one. Felicity can help both Laurel and Oliver as tech support. Laurel should have her own lair and side kick maybe Sin. - I hope Oliver don't take too much time in coming clean to Thea. I can't wait to see her reaction to the fact that Oliver is Arrow.
I agree that she's been noted to have taken self-defense classes before and been relatively not useless for at least 10 secs of a fight in the past. However, I will say I think she went after the guy with baseball bat and not a gun so as to give him a taste of his own medicine so to speak. She wanted to beat him up, not scare him or coerce him to do something.
I agree she is a bit hypocritical about the lie thing. But what we always forget is she is just 19 years old. She lost her father and brother at the age of 12. Was left all alone by a mother who she suspected to have an affair with Malcolm. She went into drugs. Only stable person in her life was Walter and we don't know how close they were before the pilot?
So I agree everyone lied to her is not a good excuse on Thea's part but she had bad time growing up and last year was tough on her. Doesn't make her right at all.
Great episode...I always prefer, Oliver diggle & felicity in the city fighting crime but it was different and needed (felicity starting her new job without Oliver there distracting her & thea coming back etc). Love the show though, one of my favourites every week:)
Personally I don't want Laurel to get a sonic scream power. I would be fine either way but for me it would be too much out there for Laurel to get the exact same power as Sara's small device. Had Sara not used that thing I would have been on board with sonic scream.
I liked the pacing of this episode and episode 2 much better than the usual Arrow break neck speed. This episode actually gave all the characters time to shine.
BTW what is Malcolm's ultimate goal? He has some thing up his sleeve.
Such a big difference between defending yourself against a street level thug and being able to handle trained assassins who are trying to kill you.
I think Laurel should have a different fighting style personally - not something based on typical self-defense or boxing. Maybe something more like Krav Maga or Brazilian Jujitsu? More of an MMA take down and incapacitate or injure style that takes into account she will be fighting people who outweigh by 100 pounds.
Ohhh yeah i totally missed that. LOL, Thanks for the reminder, and the correction. haha. Yeah i wish they hadn't cut it, i wanted to see her asleep at her computer. lmao!! (maybe)
I falling in love with this show week by week. Sila is a monster and that monster is in QC's hard drive. QC designed Weapons for Argus. that was interesting.
He knows, but he's not chasing after him right now, he's torturing him, which means he could send someone to take him out at any time. I think after the finale last year, Merlyn could think that Ra's thinks, that Merlyn is dead again. So if say one of Ra's assassin's happened to see Meryln, then yeah, that's going to raise a red flag.
Personally I loved this episode and I think it's the best episode since the beginning of this season. I liked all scenes between Ollie, Roy, and Thea and am glad she decided to return eventually. I can't wait to next week to see Oliver facing Malcolm. Laurel better tell her father what happened to Sara already. He deserves to know the truth about his daughter. I didn't hate her though and I find her much better than the previous seasons.
One more thing, I was mad too at how Felicity suddenly knew that Barry was awake, then I saw a photo on Tumblr that showed her reading Iris's blog about the "Red Streak" and apparently she figured it out that's why she wasn't really sure when she was telling Ray that Barry is awake.
I was gradually leaning towards Slade being the one who killed Sara bc we learn that Amanda is an evil bitch lol and i can totally see her releasing Slade to work for her and someone made his way to Sara and Arrowed her to death lol. But now i'm going with Malcolm being the killer for i believe this is an act of revenge towards Oliver for getting his mom killed and sending a message to the LOA. Plus we saw Nyssa asking where Sara which tells me she must of learn that Sara was in danger.
I really enjoyed the episode! Was nice to see everyone out of their 'natural habitat' for an episode!
There was definitely something a bit sinister in Ray's face at the end of the episode. Not sure if the writers are wanting us to think he might not be the stand up guy, or if he really does have an ulterior, motive!
I really liked this one, Oliver scene with the gun was great but I really enjoyed Diggle'story. I think he's Still worried about Lyla and argus at the end. A lot of action and new place, I missed these day fights. Malcolm is well and extreme psycho dad, how CAN Thea call him Dad? Felicity''arc is interesting, really funny to see her in oliver's old office, reading about the Flash and dropping everything for Diggle Laurel has to tell her father, She's Still struggling with her motives too but I mostly expecting the expected so just I'll wait and see.
She has to. Boxing on a girl who weighs 110 lbs (maybe) is absurd. Juijitsu is so much of a ground game, it probably wouldn't play on screen (it would easily handle her boxer trainer though). Boxing as a "fighting" style is so old-school comics. Sara always had her stick thing which was nice because it gave her leverage. Katie Cassidy isn't incapable of looking like she's fighting, she needs a weapon though.
I would say that she could possibly be a River Tam lite, but there's no way KC can pull that off... Damn I wish we saw Isabel show off those ridiculously amazing and fluid moves.
And people in real life all have something ineresting happening in their life that makes sense? Maybe she is (or was) a boring character, but her storyline is realistic to me. She struggled a lot and I think she will develop to very strong character.
There's a big difference. She is a fictional character, Arrow is a TV show, not real life. There are many amazing things that happens to people in real life or hard to believe and there are others that nothing interesting happens to them, this has nothing to do. I respect your opinion, really I do, I respect that you like Laurel, but not everyone likes her. I give my opinion, I don't try to convince anyone that Laurel is boring, that would be a shit. You say that Laurel is different now, she will be strong and she's very realistic for you, I respect that, but I think different. We are all fans, some fans love a character and some just don't, for whatever reason.
I just don't understand. Why is Laurel and Thea suddenly deciding to take up defense classes. If everyone can protect themselves what is the point of Oliver;s alter ego? I mean they can't all be sidekicks to the Green Arrow lol that's preposterous, it's becoming like a "everyone who is close to Oliver" tradition.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well...there I thought Thea and Malcolm would hate each other.
ReplyDeleteI did actually see some genuine love between both
Overall a pretty slow episode
And again: a big cliffhanger with Nyssa. Glad to have her back though
ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or did anyone find it weird to see Felicity away from team arrow? It's a good thing for the character, I know. But weird.
ReplyDeleteNYSSA'S BACK!!! LOL it seems they end every single episode with a cliff hanger now.
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode, thought it was pretty good.
Laurel's arc is just AMAZING. I am so glad they finally gave her something nice to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm slightly disappointed with this one, the Corto Maltese plot was a little bit meh for me, it was supposed to be a Diggle centric episode but Diggle deserves better, honestly!

ReplyDeletelook....
ReplyDeleteI remember but there is a whole fanbase out there just SET to hate Laurel for whatever reason possible.
There are even some posts on tumblr stating that Laurel was "rude to Felicity" in tonights episode.
These fans would have also said that it was unbelievable that she beat that guy down. It's easier to de-power a character while fearing backlash.
also it set her on her path...wich will be bashed as well -,-
It didn't bother me. But Ray...he bothered me. But not as much as last week.

ReplyDeleteloved it, thea going under the "Mia" alias was so cool and i want thea and roy to get back together i can tell she's still in love with him, still love palmer he's hilarious but i wonder what he's planning to do with those weapons, loving diggle, lyla and baby sara, i wonder what merlyn really wants with thea because i don't believe he cares about her one bit, that conversation with oliver and laurel was great and it shows that the show didn't just forget about sara and it looks like it's the beginning of laurel becoming the black canary, the nyssa cliffhanger was great i thought we'd see her entrance next week not at the end of the episode so that surprised me, loved roy and oliver's scenes
ReplyDeleteI think Ted Grant/Laurel is going be older brother/young sister relationship.......
ReplyDeleteBut doesnt Ra know he is alive since Moira called him up and shared the knowledge?
ReplyDeleteVERDAD!
ReplyDeleteinterviews and EP's said it was Diggle centric though lol.
ReplyDeleteNice episode. I guess with Ted Grant in the picture, there was no way Oliver was going to train Laurel.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok I can live with that, since in the end she will join Team Arrow first then venture off.
I like the bows Merlyn and Nyssa used.
ReplyDeleteI've never taken to Thea and I'd need a lot more training/brainwashing to ever believe she'd learn spanish, sword fighting, and a tolerance to hot liquids in just a few months--did she get jacked into the matrix?
If that is true, how can I be expected to care about a character whose defining storyline is "being extremely hypocritical"?
ReplyDeleteThe flashbacks were Thea centric, but David Ramsey did a bunch of interviews this week (E! Online, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety.com, comicbook.com...) talking about Corto Maltese being a Diggle centric episode.
ReplyDeleteYUP I know the reason :D lol
ReplyDeleteBTW I told you the scene in the promo when she jumped after hearing the gunshot wasn't from this episode I actually think it was a scene from episode 2 that got cut.
I really liked this episode. This season episodes has a balance that was severely lacking in season 2. Lot of great things happened this episode.
ReplyDeleteOliver and Thea - My most favorite relationship in this show.
Wishes and Predictions:
- I hope SA gets to do a cop role after Arrow finishes.
ReplyDeleteI agree she is a bit hypocritical about the lie thing. But what we always forget is she is just 19 years old. She lost her father and brother at the age of 12. Was left all alone by a mother who she suspected to have an affair with Malcolm. She went into drugs. Only stable person in her life was Walter and we don't know how close they were before the pilot?
ReplyDeleteSo I agree everyone lied to her is not a good excuse on Thea's part but she had bad time growing up and last year was tough on her. Doesn't make her right at all.
Great episode...I always prefer, Oliver diggle & felicity in the city fighting crime but it was different and needed (felicity starting her new job without Oliver there distracting her & thea coming back etc). Love the show though, one of my favourites every week:)
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't want Laurel to get a sonic scream power. I would be fine either way but for me it would be too much out there for Laurel to get the exact same power as Sara's small device. Had Sara not used that thing I would have been on board with sonic scream.
ReplyDeleteHoly s**t! I just rewatched the episode and saw Laurel saying something about Coast City!!!!! Let's chill everybody!!! Let's chill!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen? where? what? Is it at the AA meeting where she says the guy has open warrents from coast city.
ReplyDeleteWhat's even more boring are constant complaints about the character.
ReplyDeleteYep! She tells Quentin that the girl's boyfriend has charges all the way to Coast City!
ReplyDeleteI liked the pacing of this episode and episode 2 much better than the usual Arrow break neck speed. This episode actually gave all the characters time to shine.
ReplyDeleteBTW what is Malcolm's ultimate goal? He has some thing up his sleeve.
You think Laurel is not believable as an attorney... just wait until we are supposed to take her as an ass-kicking vigilante! XD
ReplyDeleteSuch a big difference between defending yourself against a street level thug and being able to handle trained assassins who are trying to kill you.
ReplyDeleteI think Laurel should have a different fighting style personally - not something based on typical self-defense or boxing. Maybe something more like Krav Maga or Brazilian Jujitsu? More of an MMA take down and incapacitate or injure style that takes into account she will be fighting people who outweigh by 100 pounds.
Ohhh yeah i totally missed that. LOL, Thanks for the reminder, and the correction. haha. Yeah i wish they hadn't cut it, i wanted to see her asleep at her computer. lmao!! (maybe)
ReplyDeleteI falling in love with this show week by week. Sila is a monster and that monster is in QC's hard drive. QC designed Weapons for Argus. that was interesting.
ReplyDeleteHe knows, but he's not chasing after him right now, he's torturing him, which means he could send someone to take him out at any time. I think after the finale last year, Merlyn could think that Ra's thinks, that Merlyn is dead again. So if say one of Ra's assassin's happened to see Meryln, then yeah, that's going to raise a red flag.
ReplyDeletePersonally I loved this episode and I think it's the best episode since the beginning of this season. I liked all scenes between Ollie, Roy, and Thea and am glad she decided to return eventually. I can't wait to next week to see Oliver facing Malcolm.
ReplyDeleteLaurel better tell her father what happened to Sara already. He deserves to know the truth about his daughter. I didn't hate her though and I find her much better than the previous seasons.
I liked it; wasn't the best the show has done, but it was a really enjoyable hour of television.
ReplyDeleteNext week looks crazy good though!
You're most welcome lol
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, I was mad too at how Felicity suddenly knew that Barry was awake, then I saw a photo on Tumblr that showed her reading Iris's blog about the "Red Streak" and apparently she figured it out that's why she wasn't really sure when she was telling Ray that Barry is awake.
ReplyDeleteAww ok. I guess that gives little closure. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI was gradually leaning towards Slade being the one who killed Sara bc we learn that Amanda is an evil bitch lol and i can totally see her releasing Slade to work for her and someone made his way to Sara and Arrowed her to death lol. But now i'm going with Malcolm being the killer for i believe this is an act of revenge towards Oliver for getting his mom killed and sending a message to the LOA. Plus we saw Nyssa asking where Sara which tells me she must of learn that Sara was in danger.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the episode! Was nice to see everyone out of their 'natural habitat' for an episode!
ReplyDeleteThere was definitely something a bit sinister in Ray's face at the end of the episode. Not sure if the writers are wanting us to think he might not be the stand up guy, or if he really does have an ulterior, motive!
I really liked this one, Oliver scene with the gun was great but I really enjoyed Diggle'story. I think he's Still worried about Lyla and argus at the end.
ReplyDeleteA lot of action and new place, I missed these day fights.
Malcolm is well and extreme psycho dad, how CAN Thea call him Dad?
Felicity''arc is interesting, really funny to see her in oliver's old office, reading about the Flash and dropping everything for Diggle
Laurel has to tell her father, She's Still struggling with her motives too but I mostly expecting the expected so just I'll wait and see.
ReplyDeleteI would say that she could possibly be a River Tam lite, but there's no way KC can pull that off... Damn I wish we saw Isabel show off those ridiculously amazing and fluid moves.
ReplyDeleteseriously Oliver should relocate the base.............how did Nyssa manage to break into their HQ.......it already compromised
ReplyDeleteoh Quentin know Laurel is hiding something and he should find out in episode 4 by Nyssa I think
ReplyDeleteHe will be devasted for sure but I would prefer Laurel to tell him
ReplyDeleteAnd people in real life all have something ineresting happening in their life that makes sense? Maybe she is (or was) a boring character, but her storyline is realistic to me. She struggled a lot and I think she will develop to very strong character.
ReplyDeleteThere's a big difference.
ReplyDeleteI just don't understand.
