too hard as the entire ep was just awesome: giving us deep backstory on the trials of admin Harold dealing with all the earlier iterations of the machine to give us a clear picture what what Samaritan is becoming... loved all the Root/Finch scenes particularly when it looked like Root might sacrifice herself for the overall mission of the machine and then her telling Finch that the difference between the 2 entities is him....
ReplyDeleteEntire episode. :)
ReplyDeleteHow would a person begin to choose? But as incredible as the whole episode was, I had to choose John's last conversation with the therapist. JC didn't get much action in this episode, but did he ever make the most of the time he had. A reminder that Carter still has a lot of influence over Reese and his actions.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. What a way to cap an episode, especially as great as this one. Brilliant, subtle yet commanding by Jim Caviezel
ReplyDeletethe whole episode
ReplyDeleteThe moment he said 'I knew someone' I teared up, knowing exactly where he was headed. Carter is still ever present.
ReplyDelete* Root was the 'it' girl t'nite
* Harold's reaction to Root "changing" covers
* Shah is just so marvelously snarky !
* Harold's lessons on morality
* Bad things happen, who ya gonna call ....... REESE !
Missed Bear : (
"Root and Harold discuss the nature of the machine..." and "Other" - I really like the way the shoot-out scene between Martine and Root was shot on two separate floors.
ReplyDeleteThis episode really had some nice dialogue and it was refreshing to see a different side to Root, although I think it's also worrisome.
I had a couple of moments when I said to myself "Oh, this is definitely going to my list of favorite scenes" but by the end of the episode, there were so many that I can't remember.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, brilliant episode indeed!
Um... where is Root vs Martine? That fight was awesome! And I was so scared for Root dying throughout... Also, Root undressing in front of Harold was fun.
ReplyDelete"It's time we had a talk you and I".
ReplyDeleteBecause it was the right time and the right place for this to happen and because of how it was delivered and because this is the BEST SHOW ON TV!!!!! (as always checked every scene suggested in this poll)
Final. Finch talkinkg to the machine
ReplyDeleteYes!!
ReplyDeleteAll the talks about the Machine plus Harold addressing the Machine at the end of the episode.
ReplyDeleteI'd guess that it's folded into "Root gives Samaratin" a choice, since that is part of that overall sequence--but yeah, Root vs anti-Root (as I think of her) was pretty awesome--especially the two floor segment.
