  1. They are my two favorite characters and it was great to see them finally interact with each other. I hope we see more of these two together.

  2. Fitz speech was Epic! Overall very boring episode. Tony Goldwyn always brings it and he has the best facial expressions. Great actor.

  4. Tony Goldwyn and Bellamy Young are phenomenal actors. That's all I have to say

  5. I'm not a big fan of this pairing but that was a pretty steamy visual of Olivia wearing nothing but her boots.

  6. i don't think it was boring, it is certainly not as fast-paced as anything from last season but the show seems to try to adopt to slower storytelling. It's still transitioning and I guess takes some getting used to.

  7. Bellamy has been excellent so far this season.

  8. BY is an underrated and appreciated actress. Sorry, but trying to make Fitz a liberal screams of Hollywood pandering and it doesn't fit the story. (If his son had been shot, I'd buy it. However, he was poisoned by a terrorist. Made no sense.) It's too bad, because it was nice to see some fire from Fitz. The Cyrus thing is out of character - he'd have to know someone was buying this guy for him.

  9. - I guess that's why the Elliots were there. Fitz mentioned something about a shooting at an elementary school.

    - I wouldn't necessarily call what Cyrus did OOC. The guy is lonely and still misses James. Cyrus himself acknowledged that he doesn't do this kid of stuff. If it wasn't for Michael pulling down his underwear, Cyrus probably wuldn't have done it.

  10. Thank you! I'm glad I wasn't the only thinking that about Fitz's speech. Especially given that Fitz is technically a Republican, he would be politically crucified for that speech. I could even buy him pushing gun limitations, but talking about the 2nd amendment like he did and comparing it to slavery would be political suicide. It makes for good TV though. Lol.

  12. You seem to forget that FITZ was shot, 2 years ago and after Reagan was shot, he was able to get gun control legislation, banning fully automatic rifles and supported further legislation after his presidency, including the Brady law named after Reagan's press secretary. What happened to Fitz is a rerun of Reagan. He also lost his press secretary and like Reagan is now tightening gun laws some years later. this isn't pandering, it's HISTORY.

  13. Mellie does not like kids and said so in s2 e13 specifically and other episodes. The kids (Karen and Teddy) she was certain came from Fitz are treated the same way she treated Jerry - out of sight, out of mind. So this over the top grieving is very bizarre. I guess Shonda thinks all the viewers are supposed to forgot Mellie's comments and actions from previous seasons.

Hell she has even forgotten about Karen and Teddy while drinking and grieving. I nominate her for 'Mother of the Year'.

Mellie is the most self-centered, selfish person on Scandal which is a feat with all the other characters competing for the honor. I wish Abby had blasted her more harshly. If Mellie does not want the job of First Lady, then leave and get a divorce but stop the constant whining.

My problem with Scandal over the last two seasons is the writing has everyone acting out of character. OPA would be investigating Harrison's death not Jake. BTW when did technology challenged idiot Jake become a computer hacker? Jake did not even know how to print a couple months ago in Scandal time. Obviously Jake has no purpose for being on the show except as Olivia's boy toy so Shonda has to force him into the story line in an unbelievable way. Why would Rowan leave Jake alive after Jake tried to kill him (S3 E9) and threatened his life when he was temporarily command?

Also Cyrus would never put himself in such a comprising position. They have had Cyrus and Olivia acting like idiots sometimes over the last two seasons and not the brilliant political operatives they were previously. We see flashes of their brilliance but it is not consistent.

I'm loving Abby this season and David has finally seen the light if he wants to succeed in Washington.

Please no more Quinn and Huck. Let OPA focus on work for now.
Jake and Olivia have no sexual chemistry and Shonda needs to stop forcing the relationship. Talking about sex is not sexy.
