The Snow Queen scenes were the most intriguing to me. It's been so long since we've had a truly great villain. The Snow Queen's scenes are promising so far. I loved all the scenes between Elsa and the Snow Queen, since they were not only character-driven, but were action-filled and had lots of great special effects. Those scenes informed us of each of their characters' morality and intentions, with the Snow Queen being obviously devious and powerful, and Elsa being sweet/good, still smart enough to see through Snow Queen's manipulations (at least in Storybrooke), while so far being not as powerful as the Snow Queen. These scenes were that much more rewarding to watch with two very capable actresses. I look forward to more of their scenes.
ReplyDeleteRegina and Henry's Operation Mongoose was also a nice scene. I was pleasantly surprised by Henry being supportive of Regina. This is in sharp contrast to past seasons' scenes between these two characters. I thought this scene was well-written, true to each of their characters and their history, as well as being reflective of what their relationship should be heading towards, and how it should be written. Henry saw through Regina's act and knew she was up to something. Regina didn't try to hide her intentions or sugarcoat it. She was truthful to her son. Henry supporting his mother and wanting to help her find the storybook author was just the best outcome for that scene.
Regina/Henry (aaaaah those two ! they were so cute )
ReplyDeleteEmma/The snow Queen (I'm really excited about this storyline!)
Every scene with Will (I just loved him so much in OUATIW so I'm so glad to see him again)
