Barry having pizza with Joe, Sad Panda Joe was in tears almost the whole episode, but him at the end there when Barry was acknowledging that he's also his father got me choked up, and that doesn't happen often.
ReplyDeleteTreadmill
ReplyDeletethe treadmill scene and the end scene with wells
ReplyDeleteBarry having pizza with Joe. I almost cried when Barry explained how much of a father figure he means to him.
ReplyDeleteBarry acknowledging Joe is also his dad and then eating pizza with him was beautiful. Both actors were wonderful. The other scene I liked most was Barry saving people from burning building. That is such a comic booky thing to do. Loved it.
ReplyDeleteI loved it to!
ReplyDeleteMy fave moment was when Joe acknowledged Barry as his kid!
Floved it!
Is anyone a fan of Iris and Joe's partner being together....? I kinda feel like the partner may be evil....not sure why....
ReplyDeleteI have a bias against the guy since he played such an ill-conceived, hammy mad scientist on The Vampire Diaries. This new role hasn't done much to change that bias. Maybe it's his line delivery but everything he says, no matter how innocuous, seems really slimy when he says it.
ReplyDeleteBarry and Joe eating pizza. That was my vote. I loved that scene between them, and how Joe cried. It was great. The second, I'd have to say, Barry telling his feelings to Iris as she poured sugar. (I love when Speedsters do that, it's my favorite thing about them). Third, it's a line really, it was in the beginning when Barry was saving everyone. And He was caught by Caitlin on his earpiece and she says "Barry it's Caitlin" And he has this Oh shit look on his face, trying to play it off he goes, "Heyyyy Caitlin....how was your day." LOL I loved that. His tone was, What's up gurllll. Hahahahaha. That was great.
ReplyDeleteI am in total agreement!
ReplyDeleteHowever, I still think that he seems too innocent on the show and almost too much like a real person. If that makes any sense. For me I feel like the show is setting us up as viewers for a fall. What better dramatic foil then to make him an actually evil character who has stolen Flash's true love.
I kinda feel like they will make him a villain of some sort.
If you look up his character's name (Eddie Thawne) in relation to the comics, that should give you a pretty good indication of the direction that character is headed in. (Hint - you're on the right track)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, that I read the comic in my youth...and watched the first iteration of the TV show. That should date me. :)
ReplyDeleteAlas I have the worst memory on the face of the planet, so can't remember finer details of things. :)
