    I hope so. I fervently hope so. But....

    A character is indeed going to die this season. I hope it's not Root or any one of our gang. Losing Carter was devastating enough.

    You make a compelling case. Hard to argue with the points you mentioned.
    Maybe Root dies and in doing so finds her redemption and her death finally leads Harold to fully accept the Machine for what it has become now/will become in the future. And the Machine may finally decide to speak with him.


    Anyways, as of now speculation about who is going to die is split between Elias and Root. Losing any one of the two is going to be huge.
