  1. OH MY GOD, ALL OF THIS SOUNDS AMAZING.

    I can't wait for Phase 3!

  2. This is kinda embarrassing but I am actually crying from excitement about Captain Marvel. I have been wanting this for forever.

  4. I was really hoping for a Black Widow announcement.

  6. Inhumans!! Black Panther!! Captain Marvel!! I'AM DEAD. I HAVE OFFICIALLY GONE TO MARVEL HEAVEN. I CAN'T EVEN.

  9. It was about damn time we have a female superhero-led movie :D

    ReplyDelete
  10. Although I like the character, Ms. Marvel er... I mean Captain Marvel is going to be difficult to cast and I wish that Marvel would back off on the Inhumans idea.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I only care for Captain America Civil War and the last 2 Avengers. The rest I don't give a #@&* about.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Still pissed that Captain Marvel is Shazam now.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Awesome news. But avengers infinity war looks interesting, the most interesting part is that in the infinity war Thanos is a part of this war.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Doctor Strange. Finally something to get intrigued by.

    ReplyDelete
  15. "Captain America: Civial War" has me pumped. Got to become THE event of the MCU! Great to know that Tony Stark is involved.

"Thor 3: Ragnarok" what a title, now THIS is what a third movie should be named. The lava red logo is badass as well, Guess they'll go a different route with Ragnarok. Maybe have Loki create a second Thor using Thors blood instead of a cyborg clone. Could be portrayed by Liam Hemsworth

hate the part 1 and 2 split up with Avengers 3. BUT I can live with it if these are actually two different movies.

As for Doctor Strange, hate the casting. Cumberbatch ruined Star Trek Into Darkness for me
    Black Panther, wait and see
same goes for Ant Man and Captain Marvel

  16. What's with that Untitled Project on May 2018? Doesn't that date belong to Avengers?

    ReplyDelete
  17. These dates are making me think of my mortality lol

    ReplyDelete
  18. I am c ying as well, Carol is my favourite hero so I am so happy she is finally getting a film

    ReplyDelete
  19. I am so excited by these announcements, they gave me what I wanted with a Captain Marvel film, Black Panther, Inhumans and a two part Avengers which I think is going to be epic and probably involve the Guardians and every hero in the MCU joining forces.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I didn't got how the captain america called. Civil war or serpent society?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Gotta milk dem udders!

    ReplyDelete
  22. That shot makes me VERY happy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. That "untitled" slot was there just because they hadn't revealed it yet. It's "Avengers: Infinity War part 1." Part two will be in theaters a year after that.

    ReplyDelete
  24. What this tells me is that Warner Brothers/DC is trying to compete, not challenge, Marvel Studios. And Sony and Fox have no idea what they're doing.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Serpent Society was a gag. Had Fury holding a dead snake(Snakes on a Plane joke).

    ReplyDelete
  26. Not too hard to cast. Katheryn WInnick would nail it. Jessica Chastain would also work for a second choice imo.

Why don't you like Inhumans? They have a huge catalog of stories to tell.

    ReplyDelete
  27. As someone who has seen his share of Sony/FOX Marvel films, I can certainly attest that they have no idea what they're doing. If anyone needs any further proof they should just look to the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just by watching The Amazing Spider-Man 2, you can notice this. What little hope Fox has is a few X-Men films, but then they're only good films and nothing true to what the X-Men really are.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Captain Marvel aka Billy Batson I think because of Marvel they had to rename him Shazam or something. Which bugs me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. For various reasons, I don't think they'd pick either of those actresses to topline a Marvel film. As for Inhumans, they may have a hefty catalog of stories but that's not the issue. Marvel has enough trouble trying to get comic readers (the most hardcore of Marvel fans) to buy Inhumans projects and if that's a hard sell for the hardcore fans, then Marvel has a near-impossible task of selling Inhumans to the general public.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I get that but since it's such old news I just thought it was a bit of a non sequitur (outside of the name itself) to bring it up here.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Guardians could be nice.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Too much information at once!I don't know what to be most excited about!

Despite all the rumors,I did not expect to see Civil War in Phase 3.However,Kevin Feige DID say that the Civil War we'll see will be different from the comics, which makes pefect sense(and it also makes me feel much better). It's also interesting that Captain America:Civil War and not Avengers:Civil War.My theory is that it'll be more of a Superheroes vs Government kind of thing,as it was teased in TWS.It also fits with the events of Ultron. The whole world will realize what can happen if the superheroes run unchecked.Adding the fact that Captain America is looking for an assassin, probably responsible for the death of a lot of important people, who however is looking to protect,I can see things getting a little heated.
I'm still of the opinion that the comics Civil War is just not doable here.

In other news, start preparing yourselves for a humongous cliffhanger at the end of Infinity War,Pt.1.

  34. So many movies! Marvel will be keeping me happy while waiting for Guardians, Captain America, Thor and Avengers. Well played

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yep, I have died and gone to comic book heaven.

    JFC YESSSSSS

    ReplyDelete
  36. Cumberbatch was maybe the best part of Into Darkness, apart maybe from Nimoy's cameo. As for him being Strange, I also have my doubts though

    ReplyDelete
  37. NOW?
For years now and actually due to fans being confused and bitching because of it.

There's little to no bad blood between DC/Marvel. They even created their cross universe

    ReplyDelete
  38. completely not,
every recast is pretty good. Pine is close to Shatner, Quinto does fantastic as a Nimoy substitude and Urban is FANTASTIC as Bones.

Cumberbatch was SO off from Montalban and turned Kahn into a generic white-british villain

    ReplyDelete
  39. No embarrassment. I´m with you.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Pretty amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thor is a given for me. Super stoked for Avengers (2 movies yeah) and Inhumans. A must see Captain America 3 and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Curious about Black Panther - but wished he would be tied in with the X-Men.... The others, (ok not much left) I'll wait for the trailers.

    ReplyDelete
  42. me too...really disapointing. At least I hope she appears on Captain america: civil war because I loved her on The winter soldier.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Because YA novel adaptations put the final movie into two parts, why not try it for comic books?

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm really excited for Captain America: Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

    ReplyDelete
  45. As someone who finds all super hero movies tedious and stupid... this annoys me!

    ReplyDelete
  46. not that hard...
    Guardians of The Galaxy anyone?;-)

    ReplyDelete
  47. was Cumberbatch confirmed yet?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Inhumans and Guardians are two very, very different franchises. They're not interchangeable.

    ReplyDelete
  49. how much different?both had cosmic theme, both are equally unknown to GA outside comic fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Grr, the existence of things that I don't enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  51. One franchise is light drama that doesn't take itself seriously at all (right in Marvel's wheelhouse) while Inhumans are an even more obscure group whose source material is serious to the point of being dour and steeped in metaphor and allegory. Whereas Guardians is easy material for anyone to jump into, Inhumans is dense stuff and hard to get into even for a lot of hardcore Marvel fans. Inhumans just isn't blockbuster material.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thor 3 may actually be interesting, unlike the first 2 films. Excited for Cap 3 the most!

    ReplyDelete
  53. who said Marvel won't adapt it differently?the original comic version of Guardian are actually more serious than the movie, its not until the movie that the comic version began more light&'quirky'.

also i heard that Marvel would position Inhuman as MCU version of mutants since they couldn't get X-Men from Fox,so that i guess is another selling point to GA

    ReplyDelete
  54. Marvel didn't use the original comic version of Guardians. They used the new popular version which is close in tone to film and the one that makes sense to use if they're going to build a successful franchise.

As for adapting it differently, Marvel's track record certainly says that they won't. They certainly haven't strayed far from source material in their films so far.

    ReplyDelete
  55. and maybe an extension to QS & SW being Inhumans on Avengers rumor

    ReplyDelete
  56. i beg to differ, theres lots of things adapted different,
    Mandarin,the original Iron Patriot,Ultron creator,etc,etc
and probably the upcoming Ant-Man change the Antmens dynamic completely

    ReplyDelete
  57. Apart from dropping out of the movie, there isn't much he could do about that, since he wouldn't have known he was Kahn until after he got the part. It's even possible that he isn't be familiar with the original character.

    ReplyDelete
  58. You're citing minor supporting characters as examples when we're talking about the main subjects of the film. That's not even close to being the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  59. oh cut it, he must have known he was playing Kahn at least when he was auditioning for it. And even if he didn't: that's NO excuse for playing a character with not a single character trait of the original -,-

He's just a limited actor with no talents outside of his main role (Sherlock)

    ReplyDelete
  60. Ultron creator(Tony Stark) minor supporting character?

    ReplyDelete
  61. They didn't change anything about the character Tony Stark. They changed the background info on Ultron. Big difference.

    ReplyDelete
  62. change is change, its proof they not following source material completely, that mean Inhumans could too

    ReplyDelete
  63. No. Change is not change. There's a huge difference between fundamentally changing the details of who a character is and simply altering a few background details to streamline a plot.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Civil war is just to counter BvS........

    ReplyDelete
  65. With all the amazing news, I found myself disappointed to see Black Widow movie not listed.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Civil War sucked a lot of ass, and I think was emblematic of everything wrong with the modern Marvel comic universe (too much in-fighting and politicking, not enough fighting off villains).

I'm cautiously optimistic about the movie, though. For one thing, it's probably only going to be the one film (set up by Age of Ultron) and they have to change it by necessity. Nobody has an alter ego in the Marvel universe.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Amazin, just, amazing. Look foward to all of them.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I'm well aware it's been since at least the New 52. They've had crossovers not really a universe though. But it shouldn't have happened anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't wanna say well no shit, but well no shit.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oh, I'm sorry, have I offended you in some way?

    ReplyDelete
  71. Apart from the actors being true to the originals (which is, in the divergent timeline, kind of an incoherence if you allow me), the movie wasn't that good, and I liked the "new" Kahn.
It was not Wrath of Kahn, it was not a good movie, it wasn't even a good reboot worthy of the original, but at least Cumberbatch did the job. Won't say the same for Quinto and Pine (seriously, who believed one second to Quinto's "Kaaaaaahn" when Pine "died"? Oh and talk about a deus ex machina, at least when Nimoy died, his resurrection had a bit more sense than this)

    ReplyDelete
  72. She's probably too young, and recent Suicide Squad rumours might make it unlikely, but for some reason I would LOVE if Margot Robbie were cast as Ms Marvel.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Some interesting stuff... not too sure about Civil War but I'm definitely intrigued to see what's next in the MCU.

(Super curious who they're looking at for Carol...)
