Ok this guys need to check themselves!!!!!!!! How come when it comes to tv series and comics everything looks great but then i goes to movies almost every time there is a problem.
I have always loved Ezra ever since I first saw him in The Perks of Being a Wallflower so I'm excited about this. He has the acting chops down but he's going to have to change his look for Barry.
Hmm, wonder if they're going to go with the Wally West Flash then to keep the properties somewhat separate, two Barry Allen would just confuse this mess even more.
I've liked Ezra since Californication, but I really began to appreciate his talent after We Need to Talk About Kevin and Perks of Being a Wallflower!
Any time a talented actor is the lead in a comic-based movie I am happy. Sure, they don't always work out perfectly, but they are almost always better than some pretty face without talent!
Also, I don't see what all the fuss is about with his look honestly. He is an actor afterall!
He can go from indie hipster to clean cut with a simple haircut. Just look at Royal Pains where he played the son of an absentee millionaire father. He looked very clean cut and relatively innocent as well.
Don't mind the actor at all,but would like to know how this works out? It's all too confusing. Having a show about the flash and having a movie with a different actor?!
I agree. I was kind of hoping for the movie version to look more like the comic version of Barry. Grant is great in the role but he doesn't really look like Barry.
I know that looks don't really matter when it comes to acting, but because we already have a Barry on the CW show who doesn't like comic Barry it was just something I was hoping for..
Ezra is a pretty good actor though so he may surprise us...(?)
I do not understand why they'd even release this movie when they just launched a series with success especially since it's obviously a rehash. And besides, look at that dude it's not even an upgrade in any way.
Same thing happened with Superman Returns and Smallville. I think that people nowadays, with all these different versions of superheroes (like the two spiderman series), will be able to see them as two different entities.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Boooooo
ReplyDeleteFor the looks of Miller, he's gonna play Bart Allen i think.

ReplyDeleteReally interesting choice of actor, didn't really imagine Erza being in a big blockbuster movie like that...
ReplyDeleteWell people did say the same about Gustin.
ReplyDeleteI still say that about him, lol.
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Ezra ever since I first saw him in The Perks of Being a Wallflower so I'm excited about this. He has the acting chops down but he's going to have to change his look for Barry.
ReplyDeleteNeither do I. Didn't saw him in anything! But let's see how this will turn out.

I would prefer them going with the first flash ever Jay Garrick. To completely be apart from the show.
ReplyDeleteHe is talented for sure, and I do generally like him, but for some reason this casting doesn't do it for me....
ReplyDeleteNot digging this casting decision at all!
ReplyDeleteI thought Grant Gustin would be horrible too. We'll see. For now it's a waiting game.
ReplyDeleteIt's an interesting cast tbh but i dont see anyne in the role so it's fine
ReplyDeleteI thought Grant Gustin would be bad and I love him as The Flash so we'll see how Ezra Miller does
ReplyDeleteHe is a really good actor. I like this choice. Like everyone is saying he probably won't play Barry Allen. My guess is Wally West.
ReplyDeleteI don't really see a "Flash" archetype to begin with, beyond maybe some surface stuff any actor can change.
ReplyDeleteLike how Wally West is a redhead and how Barry Allen is a bit of a dork.
I first saw him a the clean-cut, too-wise-for-his-age young kid from Royal Pains too. He's got range. We need more of that.
ReplyDeleteI like him. Good actor. Wonder which version of Flash will he play?
ReplyDeleteGood Actor, interesting choice.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind the actor at all,but would like to know how this works out? It's all too confusing. Having a show about the flash and having a movie with a different actor?!
ReplyDeleteHe looks more of a vampire from Twilight or something.
ReplyDeleteI like Grant as The Flash at first I didn't know because I never watched him in anything but now he is The Flash for me.
ReplyDeleteWELP not going to be watching this movie now.
ReplyDeleteAh, here it is. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteHe actually looks quite different with short hair, I can see him as the flash with this picture

ReplyDeleteCan't wait for this flick.
