MOVIES: The Choice - Nicholas Sparks Adaptation - Benjamin Walker & Teresa Palmer Join Cast

The man who played the 16th president in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is shifting genres a bit. Benjamin Walker has landed the male lead in The Choice, Lionsgate’s adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel.

He’ll play The Choice's Travis Parker, who meets neighbor Gabby Holland in a small coastal town. The story spans a decade of their love affair, which is ultimately tested by life’s most defining events. Ross Katz directs from a screenplay by Bryan Sipe.

Just hours after the male lead was announced, Teresa Palmer has been tapped as female lead Gabby Holland in Lionsgate’s The Choice.
