"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" was supposed to be the first place to view the latest teaser for "Avengers: Age of Ultron," but following the leak of the video, Marvel Studios posted the trailer online. Have no fear, though, because the studio plans to unveil even more footage during the Oct. 28 episode.
Marvel revealed that in addition to the extra footage that will be aired during Season 2, episode 6 "A Fractured House," ABC will air a special on Nov. 4 called "Marvel 75 Years: From Pulp to Pop!" with -- you guessed it -- even more "Age of Ultron" footage in it.

Yes! Thank you. I can't wait to see the movie! So every little thing counts. Not to mention the fact that Agents of SHIELD do need some help with promotion.
ReplyDeleteOooh, yay! Hopefully we'll see more of Ultron and a first look at Vision since we didn't see him in the official trailer.
ReplyDeletewatch that footage be leaked tomorrow night xD
ReplyDeletekidding
how about the first 10 minutes. Now THAT would help the ratings
Cannot wait for this!
ReplyDeleteawesome a freaking scene from age of ultron that's amazing i would've never expected that
ReplyDeleteI didn't wanted to say anything, but I heart hoped so dearly for this, for Marvel to not let AoS hanging, so happy!
ReplyDeleteMarvel is all in to save AoS any way it can
ReplyDeleteAnd yet on november 4 they wont be airing a new episode instead they're going to air some marvel special as they did last year...
ReplyDeleteI think it would take much worse ratings than this for them to cancel the show.
ReplyDeleteWho DIDN't see this coming? Anyways, more footage on the Marvel special on 11/4 is just too much for a movie that is coming in 6+ months! Mockingjay didn't get a trailer (shorter than the one for The Avengers, btw) till 2 months before the movie!
ReplyDeleteThat would give them a 4.0+ no doubt.
ReplyDeleteNice little bit of damage control on Marvel's part and again they show an unwavering commitment to propping up SHIELD any way that they can. Good on them.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that AoS is even in danger. The ratings could be better, but they are not bad by any means. A push is naturally welcome. I just hope that the episode is really good.
ReplyDelete4.0 is a bit overstated but I would argue that a 3.2 would be in the cards if promoted right and integrated INTO the episode
ReplyDeleteInto?? Then that would have to air on April; but it would be cool now that I think of it...
ReplyDeletegiven that the CG work regarding Ultron, IM and Hulk is already done (and since even CG amateurs like me can properly integrate the Hulk into a scene) it would be interesting to show some Hulk footage integrated into a scene.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm glad that Marvel decides NOT to cut their losses and cancels it. I'm not too invested into the show (IMO they should rely on the dumb action focus instead of doing big dance scenes, fighting a different Hydra villain each week is about as deep as this show should go. It's odd that I'm advising them to dumb the show down but I believe that it would help them) but Marvel sees what kind of worth this show COULD potentially have (a big 22 hour long piece of PR that also MAKES money itself would sure be something many studios should go for. An X-Men show with cheap side actors from the movies (Daniel Cudmore, Adan Canto, Bobo Stewart, Tyler Mane, Kea Wong, January Jones and some others) would be another perfect contender. Easy to write, easy to shoot (if organized right) and not too pricey
ReplyDeleteMuch to my dismay, FOX still controls the X-Men franchise and their movies have always been dumb as rocks. Unfortunately, being dumb and action-oriented didn't make them entertaining. I have no faith that FOX could even approach a competent X-Men series which is unfortunate since they have one in development.
ReplyDeletedumb and actionheavy worked for Avengers.
ReplyDeleteAnd while I may not have been a fan of the latest X-Men installments I did enjoy the first and second one.
I get that it's hard to translate a story as complex and meaningful as X-Men to the big screen. We're talking a giant metaphor for gay rights and anti-racism. You can't translate a graphic novel with that much subtext to the screen.
I enjoyed X-Men Origins for being an incredibly dumb but visually stimulizing actionflick, The Wolverine for being an out of the ordinary superhero movie and the first two movies for actually being a good adaption for the heavy material they stem.
Meanwhile DofP was good as a sci-fi/time travel movie but not for something with a comic book like that behind it (they should have killed off Wolverine in the future, it had a REALLY deep and hurting effect on the fans making the end all the more heartwarming)
Damn, now i have to tune in.
ReplyDeleteHa knew it they can'tleave shield high and dry like that with no MLS the show might actually get a good audience
ReplyDeleteElections telecast even flash isn't airing which is a good move that and world series will destroy shield
ReplyDeleteGuessing the scene will be Thor's hammer and ultrons no strings scene so awesome can't wait
ReplyDeleteHopefully its the party scene because I really wanna see that

ReplyDeletedone in a few minutes and ABCs VFX team is WAY better than me so...no excuse not to use the hulk
It would be cool if they had Hulk on one ep. Well, it would be cool if they had any Avenger on the show lol.
ReplyDeleteWow they're desperate.
