  1. Awesome. Since Pino/Amaro isn't in ep 5 I wonder if he'll get seriously injured during this ep? He looks at least struck across the face and perhaps cuffed in that image. Whatever happens I hope Pino will be present during the rest of the season. I like it best when the whole squad is present.

  2. It looks like an awesome episode! Love seeing Amaro, and also Rollins! They're badass. I really like the new members, and actually think the last couple of seasons are actually better than the personal-sob-story-fested 11th season and 12th season. I actually stopped watching back then, and restarted only recently with lowered expectations- and I must say, it is actually a great deal of fun! They now focus more on the cases and the characters involved in the cases, not the detective's personal lives. Just like the old seasons of L&O SVU and other L&O franchises. The creators are doing a fantastic work!

  3. I agree with you. I jumped off around season 9 already, that's when the Benson & Stabler show (the BS show as I like to call it) got too much for me. But I'm loving SVU.02 (well minus the Lewis travesty & now this Noah's arc but if they keep the baby mostly off screen for the rest of the season & he just makes Liv a happier person then I'm okay with him)
Amaro & Rollins are a great addition. I'm even liking Carisi :)

  4. LOL the BS show! How did I not come to that sooner!! Yeah, I noticed the show slipping into a detective's personal drama around the end of 9th~10th season, when the ratings were at its peak. Unlike its mothership which constantly had fresh batch of main casts, L&O SVU stuck to its most popular casting for too long, in my opinion, and guess that was a downside when it gives you high ratings, it also slowly deters the stories. (But as Dick Wold said, THE STORY IS EVERYTHING.)
I didn't mind Eliott (un)Stabler getting into more bizarre situations, but I guess I had higher expectations for Dick Wolf's shows back then.
Anyway I love the new SVU. I love Rollins and Amaro, and the new DA guy.

Also Rollins kinda remind me of a grown-up version of Veronica Mars! I haven't watched the season where Carisi appears, but reading your comment, I think I'll enjoy that character, too!
