    I know that the reviewers are more than content with this pilot but I'm not sure this will perform well on theCW.

    I think this show has the potential to perform well. It has a solid lead-in and it has support from the network. I wish it all the best, however if it doesn't deliver, iZombie is waiting to take its spot.

    Apparently there's a murder early on in the season, so perhaps Jane's tone is going to surprise us.

    By episode 3 perhaps she'll be 'Jane the murderer' ;D

    lol, I remember reading a script for a pilot that had a similar idea. They built it up as a light romantic comedy and in the end of the episode turned the concept completely around with the leads love interest being a psychotic sexual predator. It toyed with our expectations and would've turned them around completely. Sadly this never went anywhere

    I hope it is. Just because I remember people being so skeptical of Ugly Betty, it ended up being a hit for its first season at least and is one of my all time favorite shows. Generally I only get excited for The CW's sci-fi/fantasy offerings but this is an exception, and I personally am far more intrigued by this than The Flash which I am meh about. Weird but whatever. I hope it doesn't disappoint.
