    Reading the upcoming synopses, I think 5x9 is the episode where it gets back to the Haven we know and love.

    They wrote 26 episodes as one season. Untl 13 episode of this first half don't expect anything major coming in .


    At least 5.07-was written better in terms of characters and the story is not so bad compared to early episodes of s5.What i don't like in general the fact they were given 26 episodes and they didn't at least get creative enough to avoid so much drama because Audrey being back so late & the entire Mara arc that is moving slow is not good. As the explanation of Mara,the characters begin to ask in ep7.....about Audrey vs Mara. Go figure!


    SPN managed in 3 episodes of 22 (?) to solve the issue of demonDean. Who told the Haven writers to keep the main character out for 6 episodes was a good idea? They fill up all season with fillers at least in s4 was less obvious because the writing wasn't so off control.

    5.07 was definitely way better than the rest of the season. I'd say the lack of Vince and Dave helped.

    Agreed, I only liked Vince and Dave as minor background weirdos/creeps. No more than 2 to 5 mins airtime per episode for them is my preference.

    Amen to that. I'm very sad about this season... The show's gone downhill since season 4. I guess that's what happens when the creators leave

    Well that's good to know. It's good that it happens sooner rather than later because I'm not convinced this show has another renewal left in it.

    I don't mind the recent developments. I do miss the freak of the week format but the back story has to unfold somehow. Since they are setting such a serious tone I do hope their reveal lives up to the tension they're building.
