Regarding the big spoiler at the end, I have a feeling something will happen by the end of the second episode that will "fix the problem" (I know this is a spoiler site, but some people may not want to read the end and I don't want to spoil them)
Also with trying not to spoil anyone, you can see in the new promo what they do to him and I guess it works. No way David would give away such a big spoiler just like that if there wasn't a twist to it.
Looks like we haven't seen the last of the zombie side effects story which I'm glad about. Last season didn't fully explore the extent of what Baron Samedi did to him so I hope they revisit that soon.
I agree. I loved the zombie Nick storyline till they seemed to just completely ignore it once he was brought back and barely mentioned it. I really hope too that they bring reference back to it and what he did in his zombie mode aka when he killed that guy. It was an interesting plot that didn't get as much attention despite them making it sound like it was a big deal at the time.
The last time it was referenced was during the episode Juliette's friend stayed over after leaving her abusing husband. Funny enough, the zombie reference also happened to be a mirroring of the pilot's first scene so I was very happy as a fan to see them recreating it with Nick (minus of course killing the girl in the red hood).
And yeah, fingers crossed it gets revisited again considering the show is already known in touching on past stories already, with matching flashy flashbacks.
Congrats on doing this Brandon! It's amazing! I've just had my first conference call with Melissa Joan Hart and I was so nervous yet it was so exciting haha did you feel the same talking to David?
I really feel the big spoiler at the end is not as simple as David Giuntoli says. Also it could be a joke, I mean we have the text but we don't have the tone he said it in, earlier he answered a question about the future of the main cast by saying they were all going to get murdered. Pretty sure that one was a joke too.
I don't believe it's a joke, but for a character like Renard it almost certainly won't be that simple. Lol. The one about them all getting murdered had better be a joke. Haha!
Thanks. Interviews are great. I've done quite a few of these now and I interviewed David at Comic Con so I wasn't as nervous, but I definitely understand the nervousness.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
awesome interview and i hope nick and juliette will be okay and finally get married

ReplyDeleteDoes anyone have any idea as to when Nick will get his Grimm powers back? I really hope they don't drag this out all season...
ReplyDeleteI prefer dragging it than resolving too fast like they did with zombie Nick last year.

Yep, especially with the way he was trying to avoid giving spoilers throughout the whole interview

ReplyDeleteThe producers said it will be longer than the zombies, but won't be drag forever
