Could that tie back to her OCD?
ReplyDeleteHer storylines have been so puzzling for years now, talk about not knowing what to do with a character. It's one strange thing after another and then the slate it wiped completely clean, all forgotten, and she's on to the next. I wish they'd really try to come up with a great story for Bailey again, Chandra deserves better
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY. THANK YOU. I have been wondering what's going on with her for a few years now. I think right about after season 9 things went from bad to worse. Except maybe from her wedding. Bailey used to be so bad ass and I like that they made fun of how she's not the nazi anymore but i think it's time for her to rise up. I don't know if being on the board is enough. I always thought she'd grow up to be the chief one day but I don't see this happening any time soon. #Justiceformiranda

ReplyDeleteYay finally we get to meet April's mother!!! and we finally get a storyline featuring Japril I must say I have missed them thus far this season. I don't want some random issue with Bailey it better connect somehow with what she has been dealing with. I feel like her storylines have been so disjointed. Dr. Herman will tell Arizona that she has to move to Africa to do the fellowship or she drops her from the fellowship or something outrageous that she has to make a true decision on whether she wants to continue with the fellowship or stay with her family in Seattle- sound familiar a lil derrick esc? Shonda did say Callie and Meredith's relationship storyline would run parallel with each other so..

ReplyDeleteI don't think Arizona will have to make another Africa decision. IMO, Derek and Meredith are having the fight Callie and Arizona would have had if Arizona never went to Africa. Maybe Herman is crushin' on her.

ReplyDeleteWhat's also so frustrating is Bailey's Everest-sized ego. Yes, every surgeon has one. I get it. But Bailey refuses to listen to anyone's sound advice, and each time it backfires.
