I hope that Callie and Arizona will finally overcome their problems and stop arguing because it's annoying at this point. And they should have another baby via surrogate and Arizona should take the new job. They can do both.
ReplyDeleteYAWN. Can we skip this episode? Seriously I couldn't care less about Calzona. Hope the writers break them up for good. They're better apart. They're ruining Grey's with all these centric episodes.
ReplyDeleteHow do you complain, has place for everyone. As there are fans merder also has Calzona fans who want to see this episode. Shonda always says for annoying fans like you... change the channel ...
ReplyDeleteMight just record this so i can fast forward all the Callie & Arizona crap..
ReplyDeleteUgh, Shonda can't let anyone be happy.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Another couple centric episode, trying to please the fans of said couple with a ridiculous drama that nobody can stand anymore. I'm so excited I can't even tell.
ReplyDeleteGod bless the fast forward button, my friend.
ReplyDeleteNot even Calzona fans are enjoying this crap anymore. I used to love Callie, now I can't stand her, she's just so annoying all the time.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you pay attention you'll see that no, there's not space for everyone. At least, not equaly. While this couple already had 10x09 and 10x15 to try to fix their issues:
ReplyDelete- MerDer shippers are frustrated that the main couple has less and less screen time;
- Japril shippers want to know about their lives as a new married couple.
- Jolex shippers are waiting forever for Jo's backstory.
I'm gonna stop here, because I covered the three main couples, but I could go on and on and on, with every character and every storyline that could be done instead of insisting on the same freaking thing. Shonda is right, whoever isn't happy can stop watching. But that doesn't mean that we can't speak our minds. She said herself that there isn't much you can with a couple that already went through all these things Callie and Arizona did, so why don't she put them on the backgroung and explore the others that still have many things to live? Let them be happy for a while and explore other aspects of their lives! It's sad, but what I see is the writers going by the fans, and everybody knows that most of Calzona fans are loud and annoying, and they like to make everything about them (if you don't see that, just look at the replies the cast and crew receive on every tweet they publish), so fans of the other characters need to do the same, so maybe they'll get a little attention too.
Callie and Arizona centric ! Can't wait
ReplyDeleteMaybe this episode won't be so bad -- happy that Callie is spending time with Meredith. Hopefully we'll see the Calzona/MerDer parallels in this episode, though I'm still frustrated that Callie and Arizona are so front and center when their issues just seem to go in circles. I'd rather learn more about Jo's background or meet Alex's family than hear the same old same with Calzona. I'm also worried about MerDer (the main couple) being pushed aside again. As long as MerDer get some central focus, I'll be okay. I just wish the spotlight weren't on Calzona. They're always fighting over work and kids.
ReplyDeleteThey are draining me with the "complicated" Calzona storyline. It's boring and delayed and i'm sick of watching it. Like how many times are we going to have to watch them sort through where they went wrong? I would much rather see Callie helping Arizona get through the fellowship and Meredith and Derek sort out their relationship drama. Shonda and the writers need to put an end to this crap between Callie and Arizona. I think this may be the most drawn out storyline in the shows history. All you "die hard" Calzona fans should be upset that this has been their storyline since season 9. It's ridiculous. I swear I thought they were headed for better times after the Arizona centric episode last season which was a great episode and would have been an incredible end to the whole "our marriage is in trouble" mess.
ReplyDeleteI think the deeming of an episode as character or couple centric is unnecessary and overused since last season. I feel like a lot of episodes in the past have center around a certain character or couple but there was no need for a big announcement that it would center around them. Like with the whole Bailey CDC investigation. Never once did the synopsis say "in this Bailey centric episode", it was just a given. They have beaten that dead horse to the point of no return and I'm sick of it. Honestly they need to fix them or just be done with it. They have yet to deal with anything on the Japril end this season and they have a lot going on from being newly married to the baby. It just irks me that with all the possibilities the show has they chose to dwell on the same story over and over again. Alex has been on the show since season 1 and we only just met his dad last season and have yet to meet his mom or his sister.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope Shonda reads some of the feedback (learn from your mistakes girl) and give us back the star of the show...it carries her freakin' name! I thought this season was all about Meredith?
ReplyDeleteThe first two episodes seem Meredith light because Ellen had a new baby two months ago. Yes it was via surrogacy but it is still a new baby infant. She is entitled to maternity leave, yet she has graciously been filming scenes. Give her a break and let her have time with her new baby. Her screen time will pick up soon.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I can take one more epi dedicated to Arizona and Callie.....like seriously. Stay together, break up, separate....DO SOMETHING other then have these pointless arguments on screen, about a baby that has not yet happened. At this point, I don't think they are adult enough to have another child. They are boring me to death!
ReplyDeleteIts about balance. Whole shows can't be dedicated to any one couple fighting over and over again in a pointless fashion. NO ONE wants to see this for any couple.
ReplyDeleteYou know it! I use it on the regular for alot of shows.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing complex in whining.
ReplyDeleteGreat point.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, I would rather learn more about Alex, Jo, Bailey, ANYONE...other then these two.
I used to love Calzona, now is just blerrggghh!
ReplyDeleteGive me Owen and Callie, please, i love them together!
Too many characters. Isn't April pg?
ReplyDeleteOwen and Callie...blerrgggghh! :)
ReplyDeleteAt this point they should just break up but that would be even more dramatic
ReplyDeleteThis episode should finally delve into the real crux of their relationship issues. My hope is that they finally examine their issues and not just gloss over it as they have been doing in the past episodes that people mentioned have been heavy Callie/Arizona focused. As a fan of the couple I must say im getting tired of the way the story is unfolding I want a resolution of some sort for them or a true breakthrough and not a child or a house or a blue ring. A true understanding from each of them from each persons perspective. If this episode provides that I will be thrilled, considering I wrote about them not truly exploring the foundation of their issues in this article http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/05/greys-anatomy-episode-923-readiness-is_10.html
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to see this. All the so called "Calzona centric" things have really been all about Callie. They even made Arizona losing her leg all about Callie. It will be nice to get to see Arizona saying her peace.
ReplyDeleteAll of you who want Callie & Owen together crack me up. Why? So another person can cheat on her? Cheating on every woman he's been with is certainly his MO. Or is it that you just want Callie to throw herself at any single character as long as they're male?
