Thank God AoS adjusted up, that 1.7 looks way better than a 1.6.
ReplyDeleteFlash adjusted up, yes!!!
ReplyDeleteFlash the slayage is real
ReplyDeleteNo adjustment for POI or Forever. Ugh.
ReplyDeletemy guess SPN to adjust down to a 0.9 and Flash up to a 1.7?
ReplyDeleteYeah I had hoped PoI would adjust to 1.6 at least. Sigh. :(
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't say Agents of Shield or The Flash have adjusted up yet on the chart?
ReplyDeleteIt did before, but it was taken away.
ReplyDeleteIt did about 5 minutes ago
ReplyDeleteIt's there now.
ReplyDeleteOh I see it now.
ReplyDeleteAoS, you used to adjust up TWO tenths sometimes, please go back to doing that. :( Damn, I just can't handle these numbers being so low, it doesn't make any sense! People are still watching stuff like Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural 10 freaking seasons in, but AoS had a weak first half of Season 1 and that's it, it's never going to get those viewers back? So frustrating, when the show is in top form.
ReplyDeleteAoS might be down, but it's still doing better than Forever, Nashville, Resurrection and Revenge on the drama font. It will undoubtly earn a renewal no doubt in my mind.
ReplyDeleteVery good for The Flash, CW need to use it to launch The Messengers mid season
ReplyDeleteI don't know why does everyone think The Messengers will do better than iZombie... I kinda expect that The Messengers will be DOA, and iZombie will actually do some good...
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously impressed with The Flash ratings. I knew it was going to do good, but I didn't expect to do this good.
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to Dollhouse. The first four or five episodes of that show wasn't great and people abandoned it, then it started to get good and those viewers refused to come back.
ReplyDeleteA lot of viewers these days use the four episode test. If a show doesn't grab their attention in four episodes then they stop watching. Unfortunately, Whedon has his own way of telling a story that usually makes it so people need to stick around longer than four episodes for it to grab their attention.
Yes at The Flash adjusting up, I hope they stay in the mid 1's throughout the season.
ReplyDeleteGrey's, Criminal Minds, SPN etc...had strong first seasons and sophomore seasons to build their fanbase. AoS did not. I've gotten back into the show but I can understand why others didn't. They didn't have confidence in it, grew bored and there are too many options out there to waste their time on what bored them. I gave it a second chance. Not every one does or will.
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with you! ABC needs to make changes to their Tuesday schedule fast before it gets even worse.
ReplyDeleteLook at the Live+7 numbers still getting around 3.0 in the demo and 8-10m viewers. The viewers are still there ABC needs to find a place where some of the DVR viewers will watch Live. Which honestly I think is Tuesday or Wednesday at 10PM less competition as CW and FOX aren't airing programming and NBC and CBS put their weaker programs
ReplyDeleteHonestly I think AoS should have been moved to Wednesday at 10PM following the 2 hour comedy block of Middle/Goldbergs/Modern Family/Blacklish. Instead of having two new W18-34 RomCom's as a lead-in.
Where are the rest of the adjustments?
ReplyDeleteI know right? I gotta get some sleep soon haha.
ReplyDeleteThe Messengers likely to skew more male, iZombie more female. If I were MP I would be looking to pair Izombie with SPN.
ReplyDeleteThe flash held really well, hope they continue to do this well in upcoming weeks!
ReplyDeletePOI :(((((
ReplyDeleteAs soon as the numbers are released by the networks we post them.
ReplyDeleteI'm relieved that SPN didn't adjust down. Wow, look at those Flash ratings.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I thought there was a glitch.
ReplyDeleteAOS and The Flash has same rating !
ReplyDeleteTo quote Chandler, "now you understand how I feel every single day".
ReplyDeleteThe mistake with AoS is that they did not incorporate superheros or supervillains fast enough. People lost interest in getting the back story. I agree its a good show, however there needs to be more action.
ReplyDeleteOnly one show I watch (The Flash) is doing good, rather great. ABC shows are all doing not so good on Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I really like Forever and I hope it doesnt get cancelled
ReplyDeleteAnd most of those 2 tenths adjustments were fake and a resulf of Nielsen bug that started with DST last year..
ReplyDeleteWay too go AOS staying strong at 1.7 sorry SPN you lost a .1 from last week but still a 1.0 good Right?
ReplyDeleteI think they still view AoS as somewhat of a "family show" like OUaT, although having moved it to 9pm might indicate a change in that mentality. I have a hard time seeing them move it to 10pm.
ReplyDeleteThey really didn't counter-program, here. Tuesday is incredibly male-skewing and pitting AoS against NCIS (last year), NCIS: NO and SPN (this year) is hard on it. It could've benefited from having more female-skewing competition.
POI looks unbelievable bad.
ReplyDeleteI guess people who love the A.I. aspect of the show didn't tune in for the "case of the week" episodes, just like people who love the case of the week episodes didn't tune in for the "War of the machines".
So i predict the numbers won't get better.
Wow impressive for the CW, not the lowest anymore!!!!
ReplyDeleteSomebody suggested putting it after OUaT, which might work well, thematically, but then most of the big Cable shows have this timeslot as well...
ReplyDeleteI hope so...
