So. Much. Awesome. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteso cliffhanger will continue to happen until episode 9?
ReplyDeleteactually, another one tweeted that Cliffhanger for Episode 9 put the Cliffhanger on another level.
ReplyDeleteI hope that there is more Olicity stuff. I am kinda enjoying the will they or won't they angle. Mind you I wish they would have kept it in the dark, considering that Oliver has sooo much going on.
ReplyDeletewOw! This seems to be the season of the wow's! I like how they kept the concept of the show but raised the game, or better said are aware that they can't rest on their past success.
ReplyDeleteI mean just by the small spoilers amount of spoilers I know this seems to be the best season yet.
Thanks for posting this article! ^_^
ReplyDeleteyou got the link tot he tweet?
ReplyDeleteIt should be in the background as there is more going on than romance......
ReplyDeleteI'll take an ARROW video game thank you. Preferably something close in style to the Batman Arkham games. With full voiceover from the cast
ReplyDeleteKinda torn about continuing beyond 5 seasons or not. I don't want to loose a show this awesome. But very few shows can keep the quality up beyond 5 seasons it seems.
Yep. However, all superheros have their super ladies, which they try to protect by hiding their feelings. To be fair.
ReplyDeleteI just think that they should go in the direction of Roswell....where it remains undercover.
I also think it would be nice to see on TV a bit of a turnabout....where instead of Felicity pining over Oliver, as he does his thing with other women, Oliver pines over her getting on with her life with other fellows.
Episode 3.09 of #Arrow takes "cliffhangers to another level" #NYCC— TheGeekiary (@TheGeekiary)
ReplyDelete"Growing # of superheroes in Starling City/Central City plays role in Oliver's end place in S3" this could mean 2 things either it will make him think that the city doesn't need him anymore so he will leave and maybe join the LoA OR it could mean that he will know that the city is safe enough and there are other heroes who can take care of the city and it doesn't need his undivided attention anymore and that he can finally have a life and a future.
ReplyDelete"eps 3, 4, 8 and 9 as key hours for Oliver." 3 and 4 because of Thea and Malcolm and I think in the Hong Kong flashback he will kill his first target, 8 clearly the villain of the crossover will have a big impact on him and of course the episode will be filled with actions and emotions, they had to go big with this episode.
"Cliffhangers will become literal by episode 9 of this season" who is going hang of a cliff???? Now I'm worried, PLZ don't kill anyone else, I don't think I can take it.
"Fight with swords in episode 9" cool.
"Merlyn and Oliver will come face to face very early this season" I'm not a fan of Malcolm but I'm excited to see that scene that "has been two years in the making".
"Colin talking about flashback ep with Tommy coming up, set in Hong Kong, Ollie and Tommy encounter each other" TOMMY :'(
"Oliver's secret identity is writer's most difficult thing to write, but interesting betw Oliver and Lance" I still can't believe that "captain" Lance can't see that Sara was dating Oliver and working with the Arrow and Felicity was working for Oliver and working with the Arrow and Slade destroyed a whole city trying to hurt Oliver and his entire family, I think he knows on some level but he is choosing to look the other way.
So there only planning 5 seasons? I know hes only on the island for 5 years, but I don't want it to end soon.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing what happens with Supernatural after the ending Kripke planned... I'm at odds.
ReplyDeleteThe good thing is Arrow, being based on a well stablished property, they have a lot from where to draw story.
I don't know... I really like these characters(especially the main three: Oliver, Diggle and Felicity). I would love for it to continue for 7 Seasons... I think that is a really good number.
Also, i want to see Emily Bett Rickards do something else... That girl seems like a really good actress with a bright future and still pretty young(I think she's 23 or something like that)...
Idk, we'll see when we get there... Season 4 is a done deal 'cause of sindication... Not sure about a fifth, but we could still see them popping on The Flash or whatever DC heroe is around on 2018-2019... Woah? Why i'm thinking that way ahead... Now that i wrote the years, this topic seems to dumb. Dinasaurs could have come back and eat all of us by then...
They always had a 5 year plan...
ReplyDeleteI like to think that Lance knows the truth, but is just either refusing to see/believe it, or choosing to look the other way.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to them for not mentioning Olicity! It must have been really hard for them...
ReplyDeleteThese are some really good teases. I need to see that video panel though. Ugh! So mad I missed it!!!
ReplyDeleteBut apparently not for you. Smh
ReplyDeleteI was excided for this season before, now I'm really super excided! This is my favorite show and with every tease and episode aired it just gets better and better. Come on Wednesday hurry up and get here already! :)
ReplyDeleteThey talked about wanting to do a sixth before but it won't have flashbacks anymore.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Tommy knew Olliver was alive the whole time? or something happend that he believes he is dead?
ReplyDeleteFight with swords in episode 9 #Arrow #NYCC
Big battle in Hong Kong?
This season is going to be awesome. There is something or the other for every fan to be excited about be it Laurel, Felicity, Diggle, SS... or anyone. They seems to go into this season much more prepared than they did in season 2. I love this show and want this to go on forever but I like the idea of ending a show while it is good and with a well planned series finale.
ReplyDeleteI also want to see young actors in this show like EBR and Willa in other roles. So may be end the show by season 7. 5 seasons of Oliver graduating to the classic Green Arrow then introduce his son, two seasons later the show can end with Oliver's death or him giving up the mantle to his son.
I would say it is he does knows and chooses to look away, He started being a lot less aggressive towards Oliver and The Arrow around the same time at the end of season 1, Maybe they will write it that he found out Oliver is the The Arrow and realizes he had changed and then started to slowly except him.
ReplyDeleteI hope so. I really don't want him to be a fool.
ReplyDeleteI would say he would have to assassinate him and will see him though a scope and realize it is Tommy.
ReplyDeleteI think Stephen said that Oliver will be standing on a rooftop and will see Tommy walking in the street.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't look like Tommy knew Oliver was alive before and he certainly didn't think Oliver could be the Arrow before. I hope Oliver sees Tommy but Tommy doesn't see Oliver. This flashback is supposed to happen this week IIRC.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I continue to think about the episode from Batman:TAS when I read that tweet PLUS the tweet of episode 9 having a sword fight? A shirtless Oliver Queen dueling swords with Ra's al Ghul.
ReplyDeleteI think, and I kinda hope, that they have scrapped any and all plans for a sixth season to be honest. Arrow is a special kind of weapon because of those flashbacks and when looking at it all in a broader scope, we are getting ten years of Oliver's life already.
ReplyDeleteI think it will go beyond a 5th season because the fan support will still be there plus I sure Stephen Amell want to do more season. I say it all depend if he want to continue as he don't to be OQ in his 40s. I believe the main cast is all signed for 5 season
ReplyDeleteThe fan support may be there, but will the creativity be there? Not from the producers, but from Stephen Amell himself. He even mentioned something as saying he wants to know where the ending is to something that he's working with, and I think more and more shows need to know where to stop something when they're burnt out when it comes to "What's next?" and just just continue because of ratings or because of fanbases.
ReplyDeleteHmm. The fight with swords in episode 9 could be related to Tatsu/Katana and her Soultaker sword. Perhaps she shows up in present day in episode 9 while the flashbacks involve her origin story? It would also tie in with the 'Growing number of Superheroes' tweet.
ReplyDeleteThey could always include flashbacks of other characters, but even Stephen wrote in his FB page about wanting to do 6 seasons before. It is an option if the ratings hold.
ReplyDeleteohh thank you for that. That it's better
ReplyDeleteI think the cliffhanger of episode 3 would be Oliver finding out that Merlyn is alive.
ReplyDeleteThank you. No i understand tho it could've been interesting if they really saw wach other and then some weird shit happens and Tommy believes he is dead again.
ReplyDeletespecially as he was a detective and now police captain, It would be a bit to Lois Lane.
ReplyDeleteI think it's always an option. I even heard Stephen signed up for six years, but hopefully he's starting to realize that Arrow won't be as special without those flashbacks, and to even use flashbacks on another character would be demoralizing the integrity of the show that makes those flashbacks so important in the characterization of Oliver Queen.
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY that's why I put captain in quotation marks it makes no sense that a police captain can be this oblivious.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly I think that they will have a big scene in ep 3 so it can't end on him finding out Malcolm is alive unless the scene is in ep 4 I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm could suddenly appear to Oliver at the end of the episode and that scene could continue at the beginning of episode 3.04, I guess.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good point. I cant wait to see the episode. this season is going to be great.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome.
ReplyDeleteLove the show to pieces, but five will do nicely.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they've scrapped their weakest selling point.
ReplyDeleteSo episode 2 isn't important for Oliver? Not surprising, with these writers, but disappointing.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it'll probably be much more of an important hour for Laurel.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird. They've been promoting Olicity the entire summer to the point of overexposure, and yet they got (if I'm not mistaken) higher ratings than the season 2 finale and the season 2 premier. I'd hardly call Olicity their weakest selling point.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. Or maybe the series is just good.
ReplyDeleteYou're right! And perhaps Olicity is a part of said series that makes it so good ;) I suppose we'll never know.
ReplyDeleteLmao don't worry, I didn't take what you said seriously!
