Mmm that`s an interesting theory. I do think that they have to contain him somehow. Like they can`t just let him to continue to walk around Starling City. I remember in Nikita, Percy was contained in that prison fr most of the second season.
Keeping him in the Arrowcave would have fun Blacklist vibe and since Barrowman is a fantastic acting crutch I do hope for him to have scenes with all of them. Given that he's still on set he's probably not going to die...unless they didn't hire him as a hairdresser https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=862266990450391&set=vb.608544929155933&type=2&theater
yeah I think keeping him as prisoner is actually a really good theory. Barrowman was made a season regular and keeping him a prisoner in some way would be an interesting way to have him in most of the episodes of the show. I'm not sure if he will be in the Arrow cave though since Barrowman said in an interview that most of his interactions are only with Oliver and Thea.
Yeah, you're right. Barrowman is so hammy it would take him more than the 42 minute run time for a one-hour episode for him to die onscreen. The show probably thinks it just isn't worth it.
163 minutes actually, they would need a three parter that only show Merlyn at the window screaming "I AM WHat I *cough* AaaaaAAMmmmM" for 3 hours straight
I think it just means that Merlin is making the case for Arrow and him to work together in order to get Thea back. As we see Nysa has captured her. .... This is my hypothesis, at any rate.
My guess is Malcolm is going to have leverage to keep Oliver from arresting him/detaining him. Assuming that Malcolm did not kill Sara what if he has information about who did kill her. Or maybe he escapes because Oliver stops Nyssa from killing him.
We all know how this ends. Nyssa and Oliver will come to know Malcolm did not kill Sara. He will give them some bread crumbs to follow and use Thea against Oliver so that he is not captured. Malcolm is going to walk away from Oliver like a boss in front of lot of people and Oliver can't do a thing about it.
My favorite bit is the VO comment "Screening the same day as the US" Love that it's not just Doctor Who lovers who have been expressing that sentiment over the last few years.
liked this promo...just different enough for the one we saw at the end of the ep.
I would not be surprise if Merlyn use Thea as leverage so that Oliver can't do anything to him......he likely disappear again with the league still after him
I am sure Malcolm would say I haven't yet told Thea you are the Arrow. If you kill me or try to put me away she will hunt you down and will never forgive you. Malcolm is going to walk away from this thing unscathed and Nyssa is going to go back heartbroken. I get a feeling Malcolm has some long game planned. Why else would he let Thea go away with Oliver. He has some big plans for sure :)
Wouldn"t mostly like a cell next to Slade be the most remote and secure prison for Malcolm? I mean, there isn't anything in the Arrowcave that could like REALLY hold someone contained without having to be paranoid if he would get free in your own HQ xD
Like people that take giant toxic snakes or spiders in their house, and are shocked when they get out lol
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
LOVING IT! I hope Thea shows some skills as well. Why doesn't CW put out this type of promos!????
ReplyDeleteThis would attract viewers and not that other stuff.
This is going to be an acting fest for Barrowman isn't it?
ReplyDelete"We were trained by the League, no prison can hold us" OH now I get it, they`re going to lock up Merlyn in the Arrowcave aren`t they?

ReplyDeleteCan't wait!

ReplyDeletetrue, although Barrowman was at the arrowcave set a lot lately
ReplyDeleteYes, arrest him then have him sent to the STAR Labs facility. Stick him in a cell with The Mist.
ReplyDeleteWe both know how this would end...villain team up
ReplyDeleteIf Merlyn survived that long. Since Nimbus is toxic, odds would be against it.
ReplyDeleteodds are something miraculous would happen before he died, ever seen Barrowman die and stay dead onscreen?

ReplyDeleteHa! Exactly. It's no coincidence that there's an arrow in Barrowman.
ReplyDeleteNO.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but that response really made me laugh. Thanks. :)

ReplyDelete"Thou can't kill what is part of thee"
ReplyDeleteI agreed with it
ReplyDeleteI don't know why foreign promo are better than the CW promo! But sent Merlyn to ARGUS island it would make sense than Star lab
ReplyDeletesent him to ARGUS island prison with Slade........Oliver mention he will sent dangerous criminal there

After all his name is Merlin.....great wizard and all.....
ReplyDeletePlease tell me you're riffing on Paul Reubens' death seen at the end of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie :-D
ReplyDelete"Arrgghh"
ReplyDelete"uggghh"
"Arggh Arghh Arghh" *slightly kicks the pillar three times with my stylish Loussianna branded boots*
*finally dies*
meanwhile Oliver plays the violin in the background :P
I just dig that kiwi accent! "Streight froum tse Euessss" xD

ReplyDeleteI don't think Oliver would just let him go though, even if it was for Thea. He must know that nothing good will come from that.
ReplyDeleteEgh, so NZ gets this fast tracked, but Australia doesn't. Damn, I wish I was still over there!

Lol I don't think that keeping Malcolm and Slade in a facility together is a good idea. If anything it'd set up a villain team up :D
ReplyDelete"Screening the same day as the US" :-)
ReplyDeletei guess merlyn hasn't lost his crazyness when he first died lol
