EW has exclusively learned that Lily Rabe will be appearing on Freak Show and reprising her Asylum role as nun Sister Mary Eunice. The actress, who has appeared in every season of AHS and is currently starring in the ABC midseason series The Whispers, will shoot her spot this weekend.
The reason for Sister Mary’s return involves Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and how she ended up going from the freak show to Asylum‘s titular institution, Briarcliff. Rabe’s appearance will be on AHS‘ 10th episode, which is their big winter cliffhanger.

Such a good news.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to see her again.
Maybe we chan hope that she will be on season 5.
YES!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd she's at the center of a cliffhanger? :D You're the best Lily!
So they're going to air 10 episodes and then make us wait 3-4 weeks for the final two episodes?
ReplyDeleteSister Mary Eunice!!!! So delighted!
ReplyDeleteWow, so Ryan Murphy is not giving a fuck about continuity XD Very happy that Lily will be back! She was always one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteLily is awesome. She delivered highly in every season. And connecting Asylum to Freak show is a nice touch as well.
ReplyDeleteI wanna cry. My God. I miss Lily Rabe.
ReplyDeleteI miss American Horror Story: Asylum. The best season so far.
Impossible to replicate.
I'm excited because I miss Lily but I'm confused as how this works.
ReplyDelete4x10 (17-Dec-2014)
ReplyDelete4x11 (07-Jan-2015)
4x12 (14-Jan-2015)
4x13 Season finale (21-Jan-2015)
I was going to write: YES, YES, YESSSS!!! expecting a new role.
ReplyDeleteBut this is amazing too. Better this than nothing.
YAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, very clever.
ReplyDeleteWell the Freak Show takes place in the 50s, and Asylum in the 60s, so this should be a sort of prequel.
ReplyDeletei sure hope more episodes are an hour long i really enjoyed those, and with such good ratings, surely FX can let AHS have 10-15 mins more of footage?
ReplyDeleteLOL it's probably just an easter egg, not a fully formed storyline for freak show
ReplyDeleteAwesome news! Love Lily, Love Asylumm, Love Mary - SO excited for more Asylum's references this season!
ReplyDeleteDisastrous news. I loved AHS for independence of seasons from each other. And now they're gonna tie Freak Show to Asylum and ruin it all. I love Lily Rabe and I will be glad to see her in Freak Show, but not like this. I feel so disappointed... This news is destroying the precious of AHS as an anthology series.
ReplyDeleteOHHH I'm so gonna wait for this! lets do a rewatch of Asylum when Freakshow ends xD
ReplyDeleteWhat's the problem with the continuity?
ReplyDeleteActually this news doesn't change anything; they already connected this season to Asylum.
ReplyDeleteNot exactly. I preffered to think that Murphy like: "Hey, let's put Pepper on Freak Show, so fans will make speculations and theories, but we won't go further in Asylum". Unfortunately, he did tie Freak Show to Asylum and it makes me sad, 'cause I loved the anthology idea of the series.
ReplyDeleteBut putting Pepper in it at all connected them; this only makes the connection more prominent. And it's still an anthology series, two of them are just connected.
ReplyDeleteActually Murphy confirmed now that all the seasons are connected and they are going to start to show the viewers this through the next few seasons including Freak Show.
