I never like pairings which are made obvious and shoved down your throats from day one, which is why I'm not into SkyeWard and FitzSimmons. In addition, Skye should not be willing to give Ward the time of day after all of the shit he's done (which is why I gained so much more respect for her in the last few episodes of S1), and FitzSimmons are practically Siamese twins. I just can't see them as a couple. As for Philinda, I much prefer them as friends and comrades. Again, a romance just wouldn't make sense to me.
I voted for Skimmons. I don't actively ship it (or anything, really), but they would be cute together, in my opinion. I may be biased because I think we need more same-sex couples on TV, especially when their plots (both individually and together) don't revolve around being gay. I wouldn't mind Skitz, either.
I voted for FitzSimmons and Coulson/May, but while I think both parings have great chemistry, I don't really actively ship either. I also voted for 'other', which what my absolute favorite paring falls under. I'm probably the only one who ships it, but I love Ward/Garrett so much! I don't care if it's obscure, it's my SHIELD OTP. ^_^
I still think of Skye/Ward as my OTP. I don't care if people out there think I'm cliche, boring or predictable. I believe it's now unrealistic for these two after everything that's happened, with Ward sleeping with May and him being Hydra. But a part of me wishes that these two can work it out.
Do you ship Ward/Garrett in a dirty, wrong way? Because Garrett kidnapped him when he was fifteen (Ward may have agreed but he was a minor and couldn't consent), abandoned him in the woods for five years, and then physically and emotionally abused him for over a decade (possibly sexually too, because many people - including me - have noticed that Ward's throwing up red flags in regards to sexual abuse).
And you know, betrayed them, attempted to kidnap Skye, threw Fitz and Simmons on the ocean to die. I think there are a few reasons why Skye and Ward shouldn't mix, at least not for like... 3 seasons when this is water under the bridge?- though it will be hard to pass by an attempt of murder
Trip/Simmons - They are cute ok! Trip/Fitz/Simmons - Solves the problem of terrible love triangles Coulson/May - I love their history together Coulson/Trip - Seriously did no one else see them geeking out over old spy gear? They could be adorable and geeky together whilst being tough. Jemma/Skye - Make Chloe and Elizabeth happy! But yeah I liked the development of the Jemma/Skye friendship and I would like to see it develop into more
Before the Ward reveal I shipped May/Ward, Fitz/Ward and Fitz/Simmons/Ward but now I just can't deal with Ward being in any relationship. Oh and also Maria/May and Fury/Coulson.
You know, I think Coulson might have been willing to forgive Ward for murdering Victoria Hand and the other agents, dropping FitzSimmons into the ocean and all of that... but when he shot at Lola at 1x20, that was the end of it. Punk needs to PAY!

I was going to mention all of that, but I think Ward being locked up now might actually make the ship even more popular to some audiences. I'm not saying I would root for those two to get together, but I'm sure there are fans who didn't care about that ship at all until recently. Whether or not Skye/Ward remain a ship at all depends on how the whole thing plays out. Skye might meet someone else while Ward is in prison, and it looks like Ward will be in less episodes now.
Coulson/May I find interesting both in the friendship and romantic aspects. Trip/Simmons/Fitz is my OT3, and I like to pretend that May's ex-husband is Nick Fury, because that would be some premium crack material.
Probably, though the ship totally fell throw the window in the finale when Ward was all like: "we're both monsters! we belong together!" I mean, is that the way to bring to seduce someone? Cool move bro, cool move. But yeah, nothing going to stop the shippers; what don't kill them only makes them stronger
Skye/Ward, yep I'm still on that ship, Fitz/Jemma, Fitz speech on the finale did me in, and Other: Coulson/the cellist, I just love Amy Acker too much, lol.
Ok, I have to agree, I still ship them, but that was just... too horrible, just like when he was taunting May. That's why I want 2/3 seasons of redemption before they bring him in again, not that they will, but that would be my ideal scenario.
He's gonna have to do a looot of redemption, but hey! It's possible, after Regina pulled such an amazing redemption on OUAT it's not out of the picture, but Ward has a looong road before that happens. I just hope his character doesn't become dull on the process, because I found him really uninteresting till the point he betrayed everyone
Not defending Ward (cuz I really can't stand the guy) but I think he threw FitzSimmons into the ocean to have a "fighting chance" kinda like he did the dog he raised. He didn't shoot the dog but let it go free so it could have died or could have lived just like FitzSimmons. I'm sure he knew they would figure out a way to escape.
LOL! he was too much a boy scout before he became evil. The thing is I like boy scout type characters, so I was fine with it, though he was great being evil (obviously Brett was having as much fun playing evil!Ward as we had watching him), I was one of those that hoped until the end that he was actually deep cover under Fury's orders... I don't think, though, he can become a dull character again because they can't go back and make him good, he'll always be broken and shady and that usually make for interesting characters.
That's the impression I got too, we already know those cubes were supposed to float and I believe he counted on FitzSimmons to figure a way out on their own.
You know, the first thought that popped into my head when Ward revealed himself as Hydra was that he must have been deeeep undercover. Sadly, that wasn't the case. I agree that Ward would be a more interesting character if he manages to redeem himself in the coming season in a convincing way. I have no problem with a character being badass, as long as they're not, as you put it, evil.
I can't say I'm super into any of the ships, although the finale made me warm up to FitzSimmons. Mostly, I'm there for the team and the cool superhero spy stuff, and if they can work a ship in there without messing up what was working so well in the back third of the show last year, then yay. Go for it. Otherwise, eh. I don't need it, not in this show.
But not Skye and Ward. If Ward can work on redeeming himself and find his inner Angel or whatever, then great. Talk to me in season four or five. Until then, the only conversation Skye needs to have involving Ward is whether it's her turn to beat information out of him or May's. PREACH. Coulson/May, in particular, would be ruined if they went the romance route with them. If it ain't broke, which this friendship and camaraderie definitely isn't, don't fix it.
Agreed. The idea that you have to pair off every single person on a show has gone beyond irksome and straight into boring. Now I am much more likely to be interested in a couple that is not romantic and there are no plans to ever make them so. Frankly, it's a refreshing change.
