  1. Not necessarily favorite more than most memorable... also in no particular order.
    1) "One down" Willow going dark was a good end to a season that was long, depressing, and frankly not that good considering The Trio had been the big bad. Also, show me one person who didn't like Warren dying horribly.
    2) Tara getting shot. I still cry every time I see that and I don't mind saying so.
    3) Joyce's death. Another scene I can't help but cry over. Basically both Tara and Joyce's deaths were emotional hits.
    4) Rise of Angelus. It was just cool.
    5) Willow and The First talk. Just a good overall episode with a good open ending.

  2. This is a great poll and I love the options! I voted for:

Surprise (Buffy and Angel have sex, and Angel becomes Angelus screaming in the rain)
Becoming Part 1 (Drusilla kills Kendra, Buffy runs to the school but is too late, a gun pulls on her and says freeze)
Bad Girls ( Faith nonchalantly declares that she does not care that she killed a human being, much to Buffy's horror.)
Graduation Day Part 1 (Faith congratulates Buffy for killing her, then leaps off the roof onto a truck on the street below. The fall knocks her out, and Buffy watches as the truck carries her away.)
This Years Girl (Faith as Buffy responds with Faith's characteristic answer: "Five by five.")

That being said, there are some awesome moments on the list - I preferred not to vote for episode endings that I see more as sad/emotional moments than cliffhangers, like the endings of Becoming Pt. 2, Anne and The Gift.

  3. Becoming Part 2. (Buffy leaves Sunnydale), I was Made to Love You (Joyce's death) and Spiral (Buffy loses Dawn) but I kinda like every episodes of Buffy (my fav show) :)

  4. Favorite Cliffhangers:
    1. "Becoming part 1"
    2. "Graduation Day part 1"
    3. "Grave"
    4. "Touched"
    5. "Two to Go"

With honorable mentions to "Surprise" and "Sleeper".

    Favorite Storylines
    1. Season 3 evil Faith and the Mayor.
    2. The second half of season 7 from "Showtime" on, with The First Evil, Caleb, and the Turok-Han.
    3. Season 6 the Dark Willow saga.

There was so many good stories in Buffy, it's hard to choose from. And even though, i didn't like most of seasons 4, 6, and the first half of season 7; there were still some good episodes in there.

  5. I thought 5 would be too many but actually it wasn't enough, there is so much to choose from. The one I had absolutely no doubt about was Angel turning into Angelus, I'm pretty sure it's the first cliffhanger I ever saw.

  6. at Mine are Willow going dark Tara death makes me cry every time even though season six was the most depressing
Joyce death was shocking never really saw it coming basically Joyce and Tara death was the most emotion hits in the entire Buffy run
Graduation Buffy and Faith fight was epic and everyone working together to defeat the mayor
love the first talking to Willow everyone having conversation with dead
and the series finale was epic

Wish Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan team up to do another show together

  8. What's My Line Part 1, Surprise, Two to Go, Grave, and Never Leave Me. Both the Kendra and Angel shockers in S2 were epic, as well as The First as Buffy showing Spike "a real vampire." Willow and Faith going bad were all "Eh" moments for me, but I loved when Giles showed up to put Willow down, even if it was only for a few minutes. She got way too cocky in S6, and then she was whiny in S7. Losing Tara was not good for Willow's character. She was never the same again.

I wasn't really surprised to see Spike get what was technically HIS soul, since that would have been the next logical step in his character development. One thing I didn't like about this was that everyone kept saying they didn't understand what it meant for a vampire to have a soul, and it wasn't exactly written in stone on AtS either. What I gathered was that a vampire having his soul restored meant that his "human heart," his spirit or essence that left his body when he was sired, was put back into his body as sort of a half-resurrection. Both Spike and Angel behaved differently from the flashbacks of when they were alive because they weren't the same people anymore after being put back in bodies that tortured and killed innocent people for centuries. The demon that possessed Jenny got killed by the demon that was actually still in Angel's body with him, because Angel's soul dominated his body and the demon in him had been "waiting for a good fight."
