Yes, I liked it! But I think season 3A & B were better.
ReplyDeleteNo, I struggled through it and had to force myself to watch the last few episodes. I don't think I'll be watching next season.
ReplyDeleteafter killing off your female lead im pretty much not as interested in the show anymore.
ReplyDeleteI did. I think the main goal of this show is entertain and, imho, I watch it 40 min with my head off and a smile.
ReplyDeleteIf I wanted to watch something with more depth, certainly would not watch this show. (:
It entertains, that's the important thing.
And I agree with skessa85: season 3 was better with nice characters (Allison, the twins ...)
Season 2 & 3 were much better IMO.Season 4 started off really well but lost the plot when the benefactor was revealed.Everything went downhill and chaotic from that point forward.
ReplyDeleteYes, I enjoyed it. It just came across bad after how amazing 3B was.
ReplyDeleteYup. It was pretty good, though not as good as the previous two seasons.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was the weakest season of all. I didn't like Kate or Peter as the Big Bads. Too much of the season was spent on Liam self-pity parties and the finale was weak. We lost too many good characters. Danny, the Twins, Allison, Issac, and the show never recovered from Jackson leaving, too. I think there is still story potential. And I'm willing to watch the next season, but I hope it's better than this one was.
ReplyDeleteNot really, the first 3 seasons all had a story that was intriguing and was also tied to the characters, now Allison the supposed female lead is gone (why?idk) and it took 2 actresses to replace her and even they weren't enough. The all season was chaotic and a lame attempt to ricycle already used characters (the all meredith-peter coma thing was ridiculous) even if i liked Peter as a bad guy its funny how an omega almost kicked a true alphas ass. I've lost that sense of horror and fear i had the first 3 seasons and all is being replaced by trash scenes (the music and fight scenes exc)
ReplyDeleteIt was weak.
ReplyDeleteYes i liked it, but i wish Danny would come back
ReplyDeleteWhile I would like, I'm afraid I can't say yes. Season 4 was a weak season for such an amazing good show. At the end I was so disappointed by all the plots: Alpha Peter's fight for power, the Benefactor, Kate 's returning, Liam's fears...And I can't understand what the writers tried to do here, for the whole story. The only exceptions are Derek's evolving and the nice addition of Parrish and Malia on the gang.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for next season though and I hope this show will find its best level again.
I liked it but there were definitely some problems with it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a more complicated answer than yes or no for me, but overall, yes, I liked it.
ReplyDeleteOverall no, it was slow, without some characters I loved, and the finale was very disapointing. So no, I didn´t like it that much, it´s the worst of the 4 seasons.
ReplyDeleteAllison died because Crystal Reed wanted to leave and asked for her to die.
ReplyDeleteI liked it. Overall I thought it was pretty good. 3B (and arguably 3A) were better but I still really had fun with it.
ReplyDeleteI selected No because while the episodes were all exciting and suspenseful, the SLs weren't very interesting and the relationships were a little forced. I'll probably like Season 5 better, once they narrow down what Parrish is and there's more backstory for Malia that doesn't involve Peter.
ReplyDeleteOf course the is no comparing it to season 3, this season was quite dissapointing but it did have a few good things, specially the development of Parish's charcter and Malia's.
ReplyDeletei suspected as much, i thought she had some movies lined up or something. But my point still stands, her void wasn't filled for me.
ReplyDeleteWell personally her lack of involvement or importance in 3B and thing with Isaac made me adjust and be completely okay with it. Well that and Malia.
ReplyDeleteI don't disagree, mostly my disappointment was in Kira.
ReplyDeleteSeason 4 was really difficult for me to watch but things haven't been right with Teen Wolf since season 3 when they introduced those demon samurai warriors. I don't know what the hell that was about. This year, it felt like they were trying to lead the show somewhere but in the end it was a lackluster ending. How unfortunate.
ReplyDeleteFair she was rather disconnected from everything this season.
ReplyDeleteIt was great.
ReplyDeleteBut sometimes I got the expression, that Schott was stronger before he became alpha. It got me a bit confused, cause sometimes he seemed … Not weak. But also not stronger than your/our average beta.
One more thing that got me confused is, that Scott and Kira were taking it so slow. Compared to fast developing relationship with Allison in S1 I mean.
I hope we'll meet Malias mother next season. Or maybe I shouldn't? There are a lot of questions I'd like to be answered.
I need a "Sort of" or "Other"
ReplyDeleteThere were elements that irritated me. (The fact that, when they wanted Scott and his pack to lose a fight...instead of making the bad guys better fighters they made the gang completely forget they were supernatural creatures.) That weakness either muddled or made other elements of the story completely fail.
Some of the elements that some people thought were silly or too far fetched (like the explanation of the source of the deadpool or the seventies computers interfacing with modern smartphones and networks) were for me just part of the fun of the show.
I liked the expansion of the world. We got a new pack. We got a supernatural prison. A few new creatures.
So, I was mostly good. But I did have elements that were a huge disappointment.
Let's see: plot holes everywhere, continuity errors, no timeline of sort, ooc characters, forced romances all over the place, new characters that don't make any sense, weak and dumb plot, offensive behavior from mtv pr, censorship. Did I miss something?
ReplyDeleteIs that a question? I mean obviously Jeff Davis picked the wrong jacket for Kira. I mean this is serious shit.
ReplyDeleteNo. Couldn't stand Malia or Braeden with their pointless 'romance' plots.
ReplyDeleteI went in to this season so hopeful that it would carry the same meaning and weight as season 3B, and was horribly disappointed. I will never stop watching Teen Wolf and I remain hopeful that the situation will correct itself in season 5, but part of me is worried. I'd really like to see an emphasis on the relationships among the main four which SHOULD be: Scott-Stiles-Lydia-Derek.
ReplyDeleteI am going to literally copy&paste my opinion from my Backlot post.
ReplyDeleteThis season was so horrible in general. 80% of it was pure non-sensical
fodder. JD ran put of ideas back in S3a and started to decide the
villain and the romance with a roulette. The Benefactor thing was
ridiculous and boring, chock full with wortless shock value to ''shake
things up'', when in truth all it shaked was people off the show.
I can easily admit this season was composed of 5 things:
-Romantic Plot Tumors (Hi Stalia and Draeden, aka the most random, forced, bland and character-ruining hook-ups ever)
-Boring Useless Filler With Was Overly-Hyper (aka The Boringfactor).
-Kate and Peter's Rushed Villaintry of Evily Stupidity.
-''Do
you have time to speak of our savior, Werewolf Jesus?'' (No, I dont, I
want Scott to be interesant , not some male!Mary Sue who doesnt actually
do anything to deserve true alpha status, maybe?)
-The awkward
moment when we remember we have main charac..... Nevermind, LOOK AT OUR
NEW, UNINTERESTING NEWCOMMERS! Forget that archer chick who died last
season, why give her a funeral, SO BOOOORING, better bring UP THE HETERO
SECS. Or scarf guy who got left behing in France, the cute dimples
hacker guy and everyone else who isnt here anymore! They cant make moar
sexy action why bother!?
Also, ugh, I liked the Sterek scenes
(where is was actually noticeable that DOB and TH were actually acting
and not reciting the script), but it's so obvious that those are the
re-filmed scenes. Why give us Sterek scenes when the entire season,
aside from the Boringfactor filler, was dedicated to keep Stiles and
Derek as apart from eachother as possible and lots Stalia/Draeden scenes
to reaffirm (the tweens) that Stiles are Derek are 100% heterosexual?
Because
Jeff lost not only Fandom viewership, but also casual viewership
because TW became a nonsensical mess of convultered filler. You can only
put so many blabant plotholes before even the most casual person
notices. TW was entretaining when it was basically male shirtless
lockeroom scenes together with good characters and good actors. But when
you remove those all you get is bad tasting frosting composed of hype
and broken promises.
And, ladies and gentleman, this is what
happens when you understimate your audience and stubbornly decide to try
to reemplace them when they didnt become the rating-sheep you wanted!
