I think it's more that he hates how badly they've written his character. They turned Stefan into the show's favorite punching bag. I'd be annoyed too if a character I was playing never has anything good happen to him while everyone else gets to be happy.
Saw this on the CW Youtube, it is hilarious. I like how the people putting this together couldn't bother to do more than one take or even a run through. He says "What the hell is this" when trying to get the phone off the stand...He hasn't even been given the questions in advance at all and they are stupid questions anyways. Better questions would have been what would you like to see from your character this season or what was a challenging scene that you've filmed, very basic questions that he can give general answers rather than whatever this is. Love you Paul and wish you were being treated better than this!
From what I've heard when asked those questions he's made it overly obvious how much he's grown to dislike the show.
Can't blame him. The first two seasons were so close to being great, and I feel like back then people were realizing it was not Twilight and pretty good, but halfway into season 3 it fell apart and became all those bad things people initially thought. I wonder if CW execs are ever like "We should have paid Kevin Williamson enough to stay" or anything lol.
I find it ironic Julie initiated the show's decline but then created The Originals which is everything TVD should be.
Hilarious as always! I'd love Paul to host any diner party I have at my house thoug I'm not sure anyone would be able to keep anything in their mouths! Joking aside, I love his first answer : he's so clearly over the triangle. Can't say I disagree on this one lol!
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I love how clearly he hates this show
