    This is so sad, first few episodes are going to be hard for me to watch :( I hope this season will be better than the last one tho, otherwise I´m not sure I´ll be watching next season. As much as it pains me to say it.

    So Ivy will be hooking up with Stefan, not Enzo.

    Stefan has never expressed any interest in Caroline romantically. Caroline has enough love interests on the show as it is. I have no interest in seeing Steroline at all so I hope it doesn't happen.

    The promo has a season 1 retro vibe,and that's good i guess.Surprised and glad to see stefan moving on,both literally and metaphorically.Pining over elena was so last season,it's time to move forward! Still no idea about bonnie and damon's whereabouts though i'm really curious to find out! Can't wait anymore!

    i just can´t with the delena delena and more delena thing and jupp Carolines entire storyline is Stefan god forbid they actually give her a decent story but we can´t have that when we have Elena to worry about can we.... i deleted both this and TO from DVR and that is not gonna be reversed i would just like to thank the PR department for that it´s making my decisions to quit both this and TO much easier than i had expected. Cant wait for the ratings im pretty sure we are gonna hit 0.5 this season cause people just are sick and tired of Dullena sorry there just used to be so much more to this show but JP only caters to the kiss assers and thats how she ruined this show. Delena could have been a good relationship but what we have seen during season 4 and 5 is just the worst (AND i dont ship anything expect caroline with a good storyline (i´m or was a forwooder but that was destroyed for a quicky in the woods that led to nowhere)

    I'm baffled with all the anti-delena comments.I don't like them personally but that doesn't mean i would expect the writers to skip all the loss and mourning and move past all of that pretending nothing happened tragic in the finale! Give the characters some time to cope at least.Are we all going to go crazy everytime they show any clip related to elena and damon? It's absurd,they are a part of the show.Although i would personally love them to tone down the delena/elena drama a notch down this season,it's exhausting tbh.

    I don't care either way what happens, but if you follow spoilers at all you should realize that "it's one sided" could easily refer to only the first spate of episodes. Julie Plec always teases things about the show that stop being true very early on in the season.

    I've been wondering as of late if the Mystic Falls gang is still dead and the Dark Dimension actually appears to look like Whitmore college ( a supernatural resting place ) so he can learn some lessons and becoming better people, possible even human before moving on.

    They are just stalling and teasing. I saw all those spoilers( I'm a regular here ;-) ), but the writers are "poor souls" and will cave into the pleas of the fandom, juts like Dair happened so will Steroline! But hopefully the writers will stick with it ;-)
    And come on does anyone believe this Ivy girl will survive more than 2 eps!

    It will be caroline acting like a fool and stefan rejecting her then she will start seeing another man cause thats all these "writers" can muster up as a storyline for her and then stefan will get jealous its so predictable like everything JP produces... and then Elena will get really jealous even though she´s busy taking withcydrugs to see her long lost damon but still she gives NO FUCK about her dear friend bonnie who´s also lost.... durum drum and we are back to the DE/SE triangle of fun

    Not sure there are alot of pleas for steroline from others than delena fans who feel threatend by stefan. And Dair was an epic failure rating wise and storywise infact i would for your sake as a steroline fan hope that they would stay as far away from a Dairlike relationship for your faves

    The Dairletionship was awful I give you that, but the teasing around it and the way they've got to the place they decided to have an relationship was done very well, in my opinion. I quite enjoyed Blair and Dan's chemistry. And I didn't say that I want them to be like Dair, I meant it's a simlliar pattern and it will happen probably. Or at least I hope.

    Yeah glad we got "horror movie type" feel in this trailer! And also kinda glad we don't get any clue about Bonnie and Damon's whereabouts, like you said, I think it's better off that way it keeps us on our toes this way as we all know they're coming back ;) !

    Ok I actually find this trailer more exciting than the previous one even though this one is still very much ship-related. But hey this TVD and Elena's reaction is logical I guess even though I'm not so interested in seeing her grief (again, we've done that for five years!). Sorry, Nina kills it as usual, but Elena hardly moves me there. Hopefully it'll change once the show comes back on our screens.
    Plus at least we got to see the others and got a hint of what they're up to!
    Glad Stefan's moving on this way! Honestly, the guy needed a break from the MF gang drama for a while! Also, very much thrilled Caroline is showing her pretty face again and take the matter into her own hands... again.
    I like Ivy already but I'm pretty sure she won't survive long!
    On another note, I like how the show seems to be going back to very a season 1 dark vibe. I like the idea of an unknown threat creeping on teenage kids at night!
    All in all it looks promising! I actually can't wait to see how it'll all play out.

    Well, she had that Jesse guy last season (before Elena killed him) and now this season Elena will try to set her up with another classmate - some guy named Liam.

    There's already been the Damon thing (Season 1), Matt (Seasons 1-2), Tyler (Seasons 2-5), and Klaus (Season 3+) and these other two random guys I really need for Caroline to stop being a love interest and to get an actual storyline and some character development.

    It would give the delena fandom their happy ending the rest of the fandoms not so much but since it has become the delena diaries im sure thats what they are going for. I say that the ratings will take care of steroline since its mostly delenas left watching and season 5 the delena story was an epic ratings flop in the spring

    Well, I'm not a Delena shipper but I'm on board with Steroline.
    But quite frankly I'm quite on board with anyone getting a SL that doesn't make them a love interest and only that for the sake of shippers and whatnot. Caroline and Stefan should get other SLs anyway!
    That's my main OTP I guess lol! Everyone with a non-romantic (in addition to one or not depending on where the story goes) SL. As for the ratings, it'll probably go if the show keeps telling the Delena diaries and only that. I'm personally pretty sure that if the show finds a good balance between romance and other things, the ratings will follow (yes I'm optimistic!). That being said, even if it ressembles last season the show is still a hit by the CW standards. I guess we'll have to wait and see ;) !

    Your comment makes absolutely no sense to me.If you watch TVD,you will have to tolerate them,if not like them.Otherwise one has to drop the show completely.You have to keep faith that this season will make amends for whatever damages they did previous season,otherwise what's the point.Complaining about it on daily basis when someone has neither any interest or faith in the show is pointless according to me.Like it,watch it.Don't like it,don't watch it-it is that simple.

    Pretty sure they are teasing for now indeed. I think they're trying to make this relationship more epic by throwing difficulties in their way! Or maybe I'm just wrong and we won't get to see that particular relationship at all? I don't know.
    As for the writers listening to the fans be careful what you wish for : KCer is one vocal fandom as well.
    Let's hope, they'll think about telling a proper story that's not entirely based on fan-service! Finger crossed!

    It seems like they are regressing her back to her Season 1 self though - pining for Stefan and being totally dependent on having Stefan pick her over Elena. That's stuff we saw with Caroline back in Season 1 with her lusting after Stefan in episode 1 and her relationship with Matt (Matt wasn't over Elena yet but Caroline got with him anyway and was all insecure and needy about it).

    She didn't really have any development in Season 5 - her early storyline in the season was about pining for Tyler and not doing much of anything, then her and Tyler broke-up and she was just there to support Stefan. She didn't get any real development in Season 5 or an actual storyline.

    Dependent on Stefan picking her over Elena? Okay I'm confused, when did that happen? She was jealous for what, one episode? And it only had to do with Stefan telling Elena about killing Enzo and not her, which she was justified in being confused about because they'd been spending all of their time together and talking a lot.

    Not even Caroline herself was sure about what she was feeling, I don't remember one second when she wanted Stefan to choose her over Elena.

    You're not the only one, the show's focus on Elena is too much that it's even messing up the promos, trailers. She's just one of the worst female leads I've seen on tv. I can't stand her with anyone.


    It seems like Stefan and Caroline's relationship will get very complicated as Caroline says Stefan didn't say goodbye. I didn't mind, her feelings were one sided or Stefan kissing another girl or so. But leaving town without saying goodbye is frustrating to me. Why didn't he say goodbye? There should be a proper explanation. Also it seems like Caroline can't reach him.


    First off all Caroline and Stefan needs their own seperate storylines and they need a common storyline. I think I expect too much from TVD writers.

    They released spoilers for Season 6 that said Caroline's main storyline was going to be pining for Stefan and then him rejected her and not seeing her as anything beyond a friend. It sounded like Caroline would be desperate for Stefan's love and hurt that he isn't into her and over Elena.

    I guess up until now even caroline was supressing her feelings for stefan coz she knew in her mind that he would never chose her over elena,but now that the cat's out of the bag,the rejection will hard for to handle.According to spoiler,elena will overhear her whole confession somehow and will feel sorry for her and in her typical way of solving will play matchmaker to hook her up with her pre-med school buddy liam with her!That should hurt real bad!!

    Yeah I think the teasing we've had in previous seasons pretty much says it all!
    That said, I, personally, like the idea of them becoming couple. I don't know, it just seems very much in character for the both of them, for me. Plus, given the two characters' personalities I think even if it wasn't meant to last (which I doubt because I think people who start up like this eventually do last) their friendship would still remain unharmed. That's why I don't think making them a couple would actually ruin anything.
    But I get why not everyone is on board and it's true that we haven't seen frienships staying the way they were in the show yet! Quite frankly I don't really care for the reasons I mentionned above, however, I'm not sure I'd still like it if it turned out Caroline is "second choice" again lol! Hope that won't happen.
    I don't know I guess in the end, it's all up to the writers' talent. They could screw this up or not, depending where they take their characters.
    The only thing that could potentially bother me (and it does already to some extent), would be the fact that they don't give them other SLs or another purpose in the show. Like I said earlier, those characters' development should be on top of the writers' priorities before thinking about making couples. And I agree with many people here I'm not into that SL for Caroline. I mean I don't like her being only the love interest and nothing more for the sake of shippers.
    I guess my point is : I'd be perfectly ok with Steroline not happening if that mean't we got to see their individual being fully explored in the show. It would just be the cherry on the cake for me if it did happen and lasted lol ;) !

    My guess-Caroline will get rejected at first,then will hook up with liam momentarily to get past that.Stefan,on the other hand,will hook up with ivy for 1 episode.I'm guessing enzo is also lurking around in the shadows.From what i've heard and what i'm seeing in this promo-this is the possible scenario.Ivy would freak after hearing stefan is a vampire.Since they cannot afford to reveal identites now,enzo will turn her into a vampire.Stefan will give it a try with caroline by mid-season and will break it off soon after.

    They didn't release the promo poster for SPN first. We only got that a day or two ago. By the time SPN got that TVD already had 3 promos, promo pics from the first episode, cast photos and behind the scenes of the cast photos. As far as I'm aware, TO also has some cast photos and a promo. I'd much rather have a promo for the new season than have a poster using pictures taken years ago.

    LOL I think we're now all very careful when it comes to expectations like these!! But I like your idea and I think you're right it's gonna be an issue between the two of them or for Caroline, at least. Plus if they have seperated Sls at the beginning of the season, things will indeed get interesting ;) !
    Like I said as long as they find a good balance between other SLs and romance I'm in :) !

    I thought I read somewhere Ivy will be turned into a vampire quite quickly! That's a very plausible theory! As for Stefan and Caroline, I don't think it could happen this way. For some reason I'm pretty sure the writers are setting them up to happen but not to quickly! I don't think they'll rush it actually and I think it's gonna be a season-long arc. Or maybe I'm biased? I don't know it just doesn't feel like they're going that direction but again I could be wrong!
    Going back to Ivy, it's very possible Stefan will be there to help her deal with her vampirism. Wonder what kinda vampire she'll be though? If she pulls a Vicky she's not making it to second part of the season lol ;) !

    Either way,most of the guest characters doesn't make past a few couple episodes in TVD world,much less the season.Last season,only enzo was the exception-even he died once LOL!Every other guest characters bit the dust!!

    Damn. I stumbled onto this video by accident, and now I want to watch the show just to see Stefan with a new character. I figured Caroline was only going to get jilted because she's Elena's best friend, or Stefan just doesn't think of Caroline that way, but not because he's moved on to someone new. This changes everything. Obviously writers have been listening to the fans and Stelena/Delena are becoming a thing of the past. Finally. The scene with Elena and Luke looks really intense too. Whatever happens there might be what leads to the twins becoming regulars. I don't want to ruin it with guesses.

    I hope the newly-found good sense on TVD spreads onto what I call the Hayley/Elijah show. As much as I liked seeing Hayley's character develop on TO, that pairing is way too forced. Why would Elijah need to be such a lazy dater?

    Another thought that occurred to me is that this promo might have been made to counter the Australian promo that was clearly marketing only to Delena shippers.     I'm pretty sure the new big bad will be extra-terrestrials, especially after that behind the scenes shot of Damon and Bonnie. Matt Davis already dropped the hint. Damon and Bonnie will probably be resurrect-able, unlike everyone else, because Damon and Bonnie got "taken" when the Other Side went down. I agree, though, that Elena will attack campers in an attempt to feel closer to Damon. Then she'll have a vision of him telling her to move on, and somehow that will be her wake - up call. Time to stop pining, go back to school, and change her major to pre-med.

    Elena has definitely suffered a lot of grief, but the best part of her character is how she changes or doesn't change when the suffering passes.

    I like your theory about the new big bads and it's very realistic considering we don't know much about this new place where Damon and Bonnie are I guess, though I think there will be several threats the gang will have to take care of. Apparently, MF will be taken over by some sort of cult or something.
    You're probably right about Elena and I'd like to see that happening like you said it would. Honestly like I said I get she's supposed to react this way but we've seen this already. I guess I just want her more involved in any SL that's not all about Damon even though it has to be fully explored and all. Well I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully I'll be more into her character as the story unfolds ;) !

    A lot of people have latched onto what Julie Plec said about believing in "true love" when she talked about Elena's grief, but I think people are taking that out of context. Elena really did love Damon and there's no disputing that anymore, but it doesn't necessarily mean that Damon is the only one for Elena or that Elena is the only one for Damon. They figured out that they're wrong for each other, and they probably would have separated again permanently down the road if the SL hadn't led to them being separated by Damon's death. Now both Damon and Elena have time apart to figure out who they are without each other, sort of like two people going to different colleges in real life. Time and distance can change perspective. This is a show about adolescent vampires who are still learning life lessons, regardless of how long they've been vampires. The EPs are also holding to the stance that in the supernatural genre, relationships don't last very long and no matter how great the couple is, they always eventually get torn apart by circumstances.


    We're getting a lot of mixed messages in the spoilers. Some claim that Caroline Dries said specifically that they're keeping the original love triangles going (something Julie Plec debunked when fans tried to pick a fight with her before this interview), one iffy source claimed that Ian Somerhalder announced that this is the show's last season (even though he's not the one who is going to make that announcement when the time actually comes), and there are a lot of fake spoilers that are really rumors started by bloggers who are just bored. Even reliable sources can get things wrong because when something big gets leaked and fans complain too much, or even if an SL doesn't seem to be working out, the writers change the plot and scenes from already-filmed episodes are filmed again differently. I'm pretty sure Katherine's descent into darkness was one of those scenes. That entire arc might have been a reaction to fans of Katherine not reacting well to Katherine dying. It had to be proven that Katherine wasn't just some good girl gone bad due to a bad life. She was actually really nasty, and in at least one way she was worse than Klaus. Then when the writers showed the extent of what Katherine was capable of, the majority of fans cried out for a good death scene to remove her from the picture permanently.

    There's something I'm having trouble with. I hope I don't attract the attention of the wrong fan with this, but I can't help but notice similarities between some things in this show's promos and the TO promos, not to mention similarities between Hayley's behavior in TO promos and Elena's behavior when her humanity was turned off. I'm pretty sure they don't do humanity switches on TO, which makes me wonder if there's some underlying reason for the parallel occurrences. It can't just be a lack of creativity. This is all too obvious.


    Both Elena and Hayley are going to kill someone in front of a car. Elena is going to throw a rock through a window in what looks like the place where Klaus killed Esther, and glass will shatter close to Elijah and some unnamed person on TO. Esther is putting spirits in other people's bodies left and right, a problem that ran rampant on TVD last season. Hayley's behavior right down to the shower scene, Elijah's concern about Hayley not being who he wants her to be, and Klaus encouraging Hayley's behavior are all things reminiscent of TVD Season 4, the season when Hope was conceived on TVD. There could be a pattern that the writers don't realize they're following, or this could mean something that will be brought up later on one or both shows. I don't think the fans complaining about this stuff have all kept their complaints to themselves, so if the writers are making it happen more instead of diminishing or trying to hide it, then I can't help but wonder if there's a reason for that.

    Think about this: The Stefan/Caroline friendship received near universal praise last season. Everyone wanted the friendship dynamic to continue whether or not they progressed to a relationship... And now, it seems that's being totally torpedoed.


    I'm fine with creatives not listening to fans. In fact, I'm strongly against fan-driven shows; however, that does not mean that well thought-out creative criticism should be ignored, and it really appears that's what Plec & co are doing here.


    As for TO repeating the TVD Season 4 storyline with Hayley? This is a show that has recycled the "Damon thinks he is bad for Elena, angst ensues" and "Damon does something bad because things aren't going his way, hopes that Elena can forgive him" storylines for season after season after season. I don't have a lot of hope that Hayley -- always the weakest part of the core TO characters -- is going to be any better.

    In this year's TO dvd box set,there was a video featuring julie who was saying that 4 weeks in,WB execs came up to her and said to make that show in such a way it will attract both TVD audience and at the same time should not confuse any new viewers about the mytholgy of the show.The fans of both show-to them,a similar pattern is evident but to the sole viewers of TO,it's just a storyline that they're seeing first time.So,some degree of overlapping is unavoidable i guess!

    Not only have they started to turn Hayley into Elena, but they're also going the Damon-route with Klaus.

    Damon really hasn't change that much over the course of the show but at some point Julie decided Damon was not a villain anymore and instead needed to be the hero and even though his behavior didn't really change people stopped treating him like a villain and holding him accountable for his actions. The same thing is happening now with Klaus - he's been in the villain slot on TVD and that's where he belongs (I think all the characters on The Originals sans Cami are villains and that's an interesting thing to be able to work with) but she decided to make Klaus, Elijah & Hayley heroes and it's destroyed a lot of the things people loved Klaus & Elijah.

    It wouldn't cause any confusion if the different shows told their own stories like they're supposed to, explaining in flashbacks what is better off only told in flashbacks. I'm actually very confused as a TVD fan. TO rewrites TVD mythology constantly. For instance, what was called the Other Side on TVD is the "spirit world" on TO. "Travelers" on TVD are just called witches on TO. TO writers shouldn't have touched any of that mythology, or the mythology regarding how hybrids are created. It was already established that Klaus can't make his own hybrids anyway. All the writers had to do was convey in a scene or one episode that Klaus' mother cursed him and even though the curse is broken, he can't make hybrids anymore. No extravagant storyline was necessary. It's only people who have watched TVD who have ever had a reason to be confused or annoyed, and whether JP and the CW like it or not, we're the majority of the TO viewers.

    I wouldn't say just yet that Stefan and Caroline's friendship will be gone forever. All we know is that Caroline will express feelings that Stefan doesn't return. Yes, that is embarrassing, but we don't know that they won't still be friends after Caroline has taken some time to get over it. Even in real life, these things happen. Whether a friendship survives a small embarrassment depends on the strength of the friendship, and Stefan and Caroline appear to have a very strong friendship.


    I've seen Damon and Elena's relationship evolve over the years, but I can't say I've seen the same thing over and over. They're like teenagers in a co-dependent relationship who need more time and life experience before they realize that they're better off apart. The problem is that they're letting their feelings control them. Now that Damon and Elena have been together and have been torn apart, anything can happen for either character in the romance department, especially if Stefan is dating new characters. That was a pleasant surprise. We were told that Alaric would be in that predicament, where he would be dating a human and he would struggle with whether or not to keep from her the fact that he's a vampire. It seems that the writers changed their minds and decided to put Stefan in a relationship with a human. To be honest, I'm not sure that Paul Wesley was lying when he mentioned a Bamon baby in an interview. Even if it isn't Bonnie, someone might get pregnant on TVD. Teen pregnancy is a common issue.

    As much as I love TO, I think you're right! There are definitely similarities between the two SLs and characters and I'm not really into it. The only thing that might bring something different to the table is the fact they'll be dealing post-martum depression here. Whether it's going to be handled properly or not, time will tell I guess!

    The way everyone's been talking, and from what they've shown in the promos, it looks more like they'll be dealing with Hayley being a hybrid. Hayley was able to play innocent while she was a werewolf, and use her family as an excuse for the bad things she did, but now the part of her that was always a little bit of a monster has been exaggerated. There's no more hiding it and it looks like Hayley won't care who knows what she's really like.

    Oh ok I thought I read somewhere the writers would be dealing with both her transition and her loss!
    That said, I like your idea because even if I do like Hayley, I've always wanted the things she did in the past (TVD's days) to be adressed at some point. I think it needs to be really and the fact she's now out for blood will probably mean we'll get to see her making mistakes will be good for her character development, I think! I don't know it all depends on how the writers will handle it, again :) !

    That's why I'm finally starting to like Hayley's character. She's paying for her mistakes, and she started to acknowledge the things that she did wrong when she said that the baby has to stay away while she and Klaus clean up their own messes. A character can't be likable if they constantly do nasty things and never take any responsibility.

    That's a very mature take on all those relationships and that's refreshing! But my question is : will the writers actually have the balls to go down this road given they've been know to give in to fans' requests in the past? I wonder. But all in all I like your idea of an "ending" for this particular couple.
    As for Katherine, I liked her, I still do and I was sad when she got sucked out into oblivion, but I knew it was necessary for the story at this point. Plus, I felt like everything that could have been said or explored about this character had been said and explored lol! So yeah I was one of those people who wanted her dead but maybe not for the same reasons.
    About her nastiness, I would agree with you, to a point. I believe it's kinda more complex than that. Katherine never really had have a family member that stands by you through everything for centuries and still "forgives" you even when you've shown them the worst of yourself just like Klaus, Stefan and Damon had, for instance. So in some ways, she still was "some good girl gone bad due to a bad life".
    Don't get me wrong it justifies IN NO WAY her actions especially in regards to her newfound daughter (the selfishness of this SL was creepy) but I guess it did humanize her a bit in the end. It didn't redeem her though and that's probably what the show was trying to say? Some people can be "redeemed" if they want to! Or maybe I'm reading too much into it there? lol wouldn't be the first time :) !

    I was not trying to insult Flash or Arrow. I love them both and even enjoy the romance in them. I was pointing out the fact that all the shows in CW are hyped using the romance angle on the shows. Its love interset's and triangles they use the most to market a show. Supernatural does not have a typical romance for them to play with. I was pointing to that. And you are right. Flash has a lot of promotional posters and promos showing his speed and lightning bolt.

    I'm interested in the part of the promo where Klaus is smiling and talking about how a warrior fights for his family. Somehow I get the feeling that was taken from a dream sequence or something. I wonder if the moonlight rings will eventually cause Klaus to start hallucinating, as a way of dissociating himself from the pain. In part of the latest promo, it sort of looked like Klaus was throwing himself against a wall, even though promos are a product of creative editing so that could have been two different shots compiled together to create a dramatic effect. It would still be interesting if there was some insight into how Klaus' mind works, though. It's a mystery how he's extremely intelligent and usually works diligently and patiently toward some endgame, but he behaves like a child and loses control in some situations. His behavior almost points to a struggle with mental illness or what's left of a cognitive disability he might have had when he was human. The latter might explain MIkael's violent frustration with him. They didn't even know about things like that 1,000 years ago. I'm not making excuses for Mikael, but in my experience men on the autism spectrum are occasionally explosively violent. Maybe Klaus had some sort of disorder when he was human that went away when he became a vampire, but the ways it affected his personality got exaggerated. Just something that's been floating around my head.


    I agree that Cami shouldn't be involved with any vampires at all, at least not in that city. When they all first met Cami, Elijah figured out right away that Cami has power over Klaus' emotions, Marcel viewed Cami as another vehicle of power over the humans (he would drop Cami in an instant for Rebekah), and Klaus seemed only interested in Cami because Marcel was interested in her. It was the same thing with Caroline. Klaus showed absolutely no interest until Tyler kept wanting to leave Klaus to be with her. What started out as a way for Klaus to control and punish Tyler turned into a source of shipper madness. If Cami wants to be part of the human faction, she really should stay away from both of them. Marcel is known for sleeping with witches just to get secrets, he's that manipulative, and Klaus only wants power over the city too. I'm sure that Klaus convinced himself that he has feelings for Caroline, and then Cami, but it seems like those feelings were manufactured out of a desire for power. What I meant about Cami feeling sorry for Klaus when the mood strikes her is that one minute she was going to use her arsenal to destroy Klaus, and then suddenly she wanted to be his best friend because she heard that his baby "died." She's too inconsistent, and mostly because she's morally self-righteous and hypocritical. I actually feel sorry for any vampire who tries to have a relationship with her. She knows better than to put herself on Klaus' level, and she's done that on at least one occasion.

Still we'll have meaty SL regarding his relationship with Mikael and Esther so I'm fangirling like crazy over that one lol :) ! And no, subtlety isn't really my thing.
    About Cami, Marcel and Co. I'm with you on some of the points you've made and I think I already answered on some of them on another topic ;) ! I love the fact you brought up the idea of power when you talked about both Klaus AND Marcel. They're kinda pretty much the same in that regard : they eventually end up using (sometimes betraying) the people they love if it means they can get what they want in the end. It's true they fool around with witches in order to get what they want and I agree Cami was part of that, at the beginning.
    Still not really convinced Marcel or Klaus convince themselves they have "feelings" for her/them (since you brought up Caroline!) but that's certainly an interesting take on the matter! I just think it sort of was a "happy accident" (lacking for a better term here!) ! They happened to form some sort of connection with her through time... and compulsion :( !!
    However, I'm pretty sure Marcel wouldn't drop Cami now for Bekah specifically. He could have chosen her (Rebekah) when she left and he chose his city. I believe he'll always choose his kingdom and his people in the end.
    As for Cami, I guess you're right, if she wants to fully commit to the human faction she'll probably need to stay away from them. I would very much for her to end up choosing either side and actually decide to choose herself. I don't think it's very realistic considering how tangled up she is in their SLs... for now. but hopefully something like that will happen at some point. I actually believe the witers are setting her up to become some sort of intermediary between them and maybe the other factions someday? I could be wrong of course (only speculating here). About her changing sides at the last minute when she heard Klaus had lost his baby I personally had no problem with that! In the light of everything that had happened, it just seemed natural she'd go see him. I mean, at first, she didn't really know what was going on there and she saw a massacre taking place. I'm not sure Klaus would've been my favorite person in the world if he'd attacked people that are close to me this way, no matter how "connected" we are. Being friends with someone doesn't mean you have to condone his actions, especially if they have a history in lashing out in sometimes very arbitrary and violent ways! Considering none of those vamps had the time to actually negociate for a cure, I guess in the heat of action you don't really have time to think.
    Sorry, I guess I'm very biased when it comes to her and I'll admit my total lack of objectivity on the matter :) !
    As for her hypocrisy, I guess it's probably there to some extent and as much as i love her I'd love for that to be adressed at some point as well. But I'll just add it takes time for someone who's never been into the supernatural world to adjust, let alone to fully realize they'll have to "bend" their morals at one point if they want stay in that environment and become a player in the game. That would be my wish for season 2 lol! And you know what? Let's write her SL lol!!
    Joking aside, I feel like I wrote a whole book on the matter (and not a very good one). Sorry about that, I'm never been good at summarizing things :/ !

    Haha at least Supernatural got a promo though! Maybe The CW is probably punishing us about Arrow. I saw some of the replies to the tweet that you posted, people were being really mean to Suzanne Gomez. One tweet said something like "IF THE POSTER ISNT A NEW IMAGE OF OLICITY I SWEAR THAT I AM COMING FOR YOU PERSONALLY!!?!!??!!". Poor girl. Most of the crazy tweets were about Olicity. Luckily there were some nice tweets mixed in haha, it just seems like they were the minority which sucks.
