Hey all,
Day three of the competition saw the first set of polls where I wasn't shocked by the results. Castle progressed past Gilmore Girls, making it our first seeded show to enter the second round, while Veronica Mars beat Merlin.
The first poll today features a show that was quite popular on SpoilerTV: Fringe, and that takes on Chuck. We then have CBS monster NCIS against another of the network's shows, and a popular one on the site - The Mentalist.
Reminder of the rules:

ReplyDeleteJust Fringe for me today which at time was one of the most brilliant shows on television. Chuck I've watched the first season and thought it was fun bu never actually ended it.

hmm, I am going for Chuck because it always find a way to make me laugh. On the other hand... Gosh this is hard.

You're hjust mean put Chuck and Fringe against each other it just kill me LOL. Uhm i didn't like Chuck finale so im gonna go with Fringe. In the other one i choose The Mentalist just for Simon Baker, i hate everything about NCIS i still dont understand how people can still watch after 10+ years of the same thing same characters no development and lazy writing(i know maybe its unnecessary say this things but i cant help myself) xD

ReplyDeleteI agree. I should have nominated it. But I don't think it will ever be a show of masses that will work well in these kind of competitions. Still, I would like to see more people exposed to it, it's so different

ReplyDeleteDamn Fringe vs Chuck!! Obviously Fringe is better but i wanted Chuck to go through as well. I don't really care for either NCIS or The Mentalist, they're both mediocre procedurals but i voted for The Mentalist because it's still watchable..

ReplyDeleteFringe if for the father-son relationship alone. I liked Chuck but I've only seen a couple of seasons, and no relationship on it grabbed me like the Bishops. NCIS because I like it and I loathe Patrick James.

ReplyDeleteFringe is one of my all time favorite shows, I love everything about it.
NCIS used to be my number one show around 5 years ago. Even though I kinda stopped watching it, I still love it and all the characters.
And I've never watched the other two shows in today's polls
I just realized Angel beat TBBT. For some reason, that makes me deliriously happy.

Infinitely dramatic I know, but those are two of my favorite shows and I hate that both can't progress to the next round. I have to go with Fringe, though. As much as I love Chuck - and I really, really do - Fringe is ultimately the better show. And I can't vote against Walter. I just can't do it.
