  7. Four great shows today , so was really hard to even vote on any of them , but went with SHERLOCK and THE X-FILES.

  9. This is the hardest one yet for me. Particularly the first one. Depending on who is portraying The Doctor influences how well I like it. Right now, although I like the actor a lot, I'm having trouble warming to Peter Capaldi. I just haven't had my, "oh there's the Doctor" moment with him yet as I have had with all of the other Doctor's. I'm sure I'll get there eventually. With the X-files I loved the early seasons but not so much the later ones. Love Firefly but Sherlock has had some of the best written/directed/acted scenes that I have ever seen on TV. Really hard.

  13. Voted X-files it's not looking good against Dr Who,and also voted Firefly Sherlock is giving it a run, I can't believe it was going to be this competitive some shows I've never heard of are knocking out the classic, but that is what makes this fun:)

  15. Sherlock is...beating...Firefly...

I can't, I need to return to my planet. Not shiny

  16. never got the appeal of Sherlock tbh, just a bunch of attractive british men basically doing what Serlock Holmes did....not too original if one asks me

  17. The X-files and Sherlock for me today! I'm ready for the other side of the bracket.

  18. Firefly is my only vote for today.

  21. Really, really touch choice between Doctor Who and X Files. I love both shows, especially Doctor Who, but X Files got my vote because it is really awesome (and American). Haha. And Firefly gets my vote, totally. I've watched Sherlock but it's definitely not one of my favorite shows. I don't get the hype.

  22. The X-Files, because Doctor Who has never been my cup of tea, and Firefly, because as much as I love Sherlock, and I do SO MUCH!, Firefly holds a special place in my heart exacerbated by the fact that it ended too soon.

  23. Dr. Who (pretty easy) Firefly....that was a tough decision.

  24. An easy one for me today, only Firefly.

  26. The X-Files and Sherlock for me today!

  27. Doctor who has won lots of awards, why does it say N/A?

    ReplyDelete
  28. The X-Files and Firefly. Easy one for me this time.

  29. Because the only awards taken into account there are Emmys and Golden Globes.

  30. Firefly vs. Sherlock?! My heart stopped: how can we possibly choose?!
I ended up going with Firafly because it is an original content (meaning Sherlock is just an other adaptation of one of the best material ever), even though both are on the exact same level to me.

However I voted Doctor Who without any second thoughts ^^.

  31. then you never actually watch it, no offence to the actors but aside from the main character i would hardly call any actor on hte show attractive.(dsure there are some attractive people but reducing Sherlock to just a bunch of attractive british men is silly. Also it would exclude any show in US where every single actor is attractive.

  32. Oh and there's a Firefly marathon, on right now on The Science Channel. :)

  33. X-Files and Firefly... Any time, any day !

  34. Had to be Sherlock. Seriously one of the best written directed and acted shows on TV. Well except for episodes 1 & 2 of season 3. I remember watching the first episode thinking great ANOTHER Sherlock Holmes, it cant be as good as Jeremy Bretts portrayal. By the end of the first episode I was totally stunned at how good it was. It was brilliant, the way it was shot, the script and Mr Cumberbatch's Sherlock was like a force of nature. Totally hooked :)

  35. X-Files for sure, but Sherlock by default.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I prefer Elementary too although it is because I like the characters better in Elementary.

    ReplyDelete
  37. It is Brit's day for me with the Doctor and Sherlock

  38. This one surprised me and upset my bracket. I'm happy to have it upset though because Sherlock and The X-Files were my votes. I just didn't think they'd win.

  39. Can't believe Doctor Who lost! Oh right... Moffat era.
