The Returned - Season 2 - Laurent Lucas joins cast + more detailed synopsis
24 Sept 2014
Canal PlusFilming will be taking place in Rhône-Alpes between September 29, 2014 and March 20, 2015.
Everyone is back: Anne Consigny, Frédéric Pierrot, Jenna Thiam, Yara Pilartz, Céline Sallette, Swann Nambotin, Clotilde Hesme, Pierre Perrier, Grégory Gadebois, Guillaume Gouix, and Ana Girardot.
Everyone except Alix Poisson (Laure), who's pregnant and therefore will not appear until at least the second half of the season.
And joining the cast as a series regular in Laurent Lucas, in a role kept under wraps.
Lucas is a talented actor carefully picking his films (he's not the type of actor to top-line local "blockbusters" or broad films in general), working in France as well as Belgium and Québec.
He's best known for:
- Harry, un ami qui vous veut du bien (Harry, He's Here to Help), by Dominik Moll.
- Tiresia, by Bertrand Bonello.
- Calvaire (The Ordeal), by Fabrice du Welz.
- Lemming, by Dominik Moll.
- Contre-enquête (Counter Investigation), by Franck Mancuso.
- L'infiltré, by Giacomo Battiato - a Canal+ original movie.
- Je me suis fait tout petit (Low Profile), by Cécilia Rouaud.
- Piégé (Trapped), by Yannick Saillet.
- The upcoming Le militaire, by Noël Mitrani.
- And the highly anticipated (by me at least) new film by Fabrice du Welz, Alleluia :
And we have more information about the new season. If you don't want to know, now is the time to go!

A part of the town is still flooded, the dam has been put under surveillance, and the army provides logistics support to the people who made the choice to stay. Meanwhile, Adèle is about to have Simon's baby, and Léna and Jérôme have not given up on finding Camille and Claire. But soon, a new wave of resurrections occurs...
