    She lightened her hair. It makes her look more mature. I'm not sure how old she is. I think someone said she's 18? I know that Davina is supposed to be around 17. It's strange that she went this blonde at the same time that Nina Dobrev did, but oh well. It must be a new trend.


    Michael Narducci said that what Davina does in Season 2 will be very interesting. He said that he personally feels that it's interesting and her character shouldn't be dismissed as just another villain or an annoyance. I'm curious to see what he means. Davina is supposed to want to break the spell connecting Klaus to his bloodline. That shouldn't be possible because Elena's blood was used to bind the family together back when she was human and a powerful Bennett witch couldn't even break the spell (then again, TO has a habit of doing things that contradict TVD mythology). My prediction is that Davina will either fail in a similar way that Bonnie did, or Davina will intentionally use the spell for a different purpose. It's been four months since Davina was angry enough to resurrect Mikael even though she knew how wrong it was, and Esther will probably be watching Davina somehow. Even if Esther doesn't find out in time what Davina is planning, I'm not sure that Esther's agenda this time around is to destroy the vampire race (like she tried to do with Alaric). From the synopsis about the season, it looks like Esther might want to kill her entire family just so they could all be together in Limbo and as witches.


    The bloodline spell started out with just all of the siblings being connected to each other, which would help Esther kill her entire family, but I don't think the writers will go back to this. I think the spell is unstable because it was done for a specific purpose in a specific way that Davina can't replicate. While I've noticed repetitiveness on both shows, there are still differences in even repeated storylines. That's why I say that SLs are recycled. Nothing is done the same way twice, just in a very similar way several times. There's also the tagline in the latest promo: "Same bloodlines, new rules." I think the bloodline spell will either get stronger or change in a way that will be detrimental to what both Mikael and Esther are trying to do. The way Michael Narducci talked about what Davina is going to do, it seemed like she's going to decide at some point to purposely turn that spell in a direction that will surprise everyone, assuming that she succeeds. Davina's plans never really work out, and even if she does break the spell, I don't think it matters. Klaus lived 1,000 years without depending on some loophole to keep vampires in his bloodline from killing him. It would be boring if Davina did do what she talked about doing in the Comic Con promo.
