All three scenes were pretty bad. I'm glad they were axed.
ReplyDeleteDamn I love this show !
ReplyDeleteI love the first scene especially since it's so historical based.
ReplyDeletegreat deleted scenes klaus and elijah were so cute when the baby was kicking and thought something was wrong lol, poor hayley, i thought it would be a beautiful but when she cried while feeding on elijah i felt heartbroken for her, i love when the historical facts are put in the originals, that why i love sleepy hollow and their twistory
ReplyDeleteI think this video was just a copy of the one a Haylijah fan uploaded to youtube (so it only had the Haylijah scenes).
ReplyDeleteFirst one is quite nice, the others not so much.
ReplyDeleteGreat scenes even though out of them all, I think I prefer the first one. I'm generally not much into the Haylijah scenes, I mean I don't hate them but I don't like them together either. The last one was touching though :( !
ReplyDeleteLiked the first and last scenes, the others wer OK. I don't ship anyone on this show and there's something icky (for me) about Hayley sleeping with both brothers (if it happens)...for the record I didn't like it on TVD and I didn't like the sister swapping on Arrow either.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I can't deny that Daniel and Pheobe have chemistry.
Wow, lasted until Hayley started speaking, before I could go no further. And honestly the entirety of season one could serve as a deleted scene that would have been better on the cutting room floor.
ReplyDeleteWhy did you watch this?
ReplyDeleteArrow's is a lot less messed up in regards to that in season 2. I agree about it in regards to Oliver's treatment of Sara and Laurel post-series though.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm a gluten for punishment and because I'll admit I was curious.
ReplyDeleteAh. Well I'm assuming you never saw TVD. I just don't get why anyone would watch 22 episodes of a show they didn't like.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm a fan of TVD and was beyond excited for this spin-off that should have dealt solely with the Originals and watched the season because of the hope I held out that it would improve and become the show we were promised at the start. But it didn't. If anything it just continued to get worse and before you ask, no I won't be watching season 2.
ReplyDeleteThe first one and last ones should have been included. The first one because we need more light hearted scenes. The last one because it shows how much Hayley does not want to be a hybrid. The other scenes didn't have much relevance to the story
ReplyDeleteYep the same here. but i will be watching the 2 season. I just skip the scenes with marcel, hayley and some other characters that bore me.
ReplyDeleteYou can't really do a show about control for New Orleans with three characters as regulars.
ReplyDeleteas long as we get rid of Hayley I`m fine
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with her face?
ReplyDeleteWhich is why they never should have done Elijah/Hayley. It destroyed Elijah as a character and didn't help Hayley's likability at all.
ReplyDeleteNothing except for very funny way of showing that she has a fever.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! She sucks! Glad she is gone.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do that but they have too much screen time. Marcel was actually a decent character in the beginning but became worse as the season went on. Davina too. Hayley is just all together unbearable, has been from the start and even when she isn't on screen the show still revolves around her and magic womb, because this is the Hayley Diaries, not the Originals. Hating the fact that every character around her is dumbed down or simply there in some capacity to prop her up. And as for Cami she is the most useless character in the show and if you took her out of the story it would have absolutely no impact. Not to mention the writer's constant recycling of storylines is just plain boring and lazy writing.
ReplyDeleteit's very dark but somehow realistic when marcel talks being a slave as young boy, i know its a fantasy show but it somehow makes more relatable to the real world because slavery existed in the their world and i think it also kind of alludes to josh being gay so i liked that deleted scene, wonder why they cut it, that scene with josh in the alley was surprisingly dark for such a funny character, i liked that elijah saw that talk with klaus and camille it makes more sense why he brought her to klaus when he had the dagger in him
ReplyDeletea A young boy
ReplyDeletei also like the fact that klaus ids the only one that calls cami camille and it doesn't bother her
ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite. I was not excited for it at all but ended up loving nearly all of it, it's almost as good as the first two seasons of TVD and the last couple of seasons of TVD don't even begin to compare, quality wise.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with you about Marcel I started to like him and then I felt like he fell to Klaus's level almost which was a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteThe show is called The Originals, it should be about the Originals and JP should never have killed Kol off. That was the first mistake they made. The second was signing on PT first for the spin-off over JM, DG and CH. Not to mention the god awful baby plot. Include Hayley fine if you must and yes other characters. But characters that actually have a purpose and serve the story, not ones that don't. Or are simply there because JP and co have a hard on for the actress.
ReplyDeleteCamille is so sweet! And damn she has a lot of chemistry with Elijah!
ReplyDeleteBoy was Hayley's little chat with Esther's coffin a dark one, phew!! I wish they'd shown it though : it highlighted how lost the girl felt about her newfound pregnancy.Kinda sad they had to cut out all Josh's scenes as well. They were all great and I thought it could have added something more to the story and to the character! Loved his conversation with Klaus (who was very much like his old TVD's self in that one : devious and manipulative!)
ReplyDeleteLoved Marcel's speech to him and I hope we'll get to see their "friendship" develop in season 2.
Too bad the Cami-Elijah one didn't make it through the editing room either. I think those two do have amazing chemistry. That's a shame we don't get to see more of them interacting because I feel like they could have built up a good partership in regards to protecting NOLA or whatever (my imagination knows no bounds lol). Joking aside, I really think Cami definitely needs something more to do than to be everyone's therapist in the show. I mean I love her but it's also time for a change.
I think the should have kept the part about how Marcel killed his father. That seems like an important part of his character/back-story so I think it should have been left in.
ReplyDeletethat scene with klaus and marcel really should've been shown because it showed how much klaus cared about marcel his entire life
ReplyDeleteThey could have left at least one scene with werewolves in the finale.
ReplyDeleteThey cut it because a hybrid biting a vampire is a no no.
ReplyDeleteI don't have time to watch all of these, but the most intriguing was the scene with Hayley in the coffin room in 1x02, talking to Esther. She asked if Esther might know how to break a "blood curse." Does anyone remember what that meant? I remember that Hayley was connected to Sophie, but I don't believe that was ever called a "blood curse." It seemed like Hayley was talking about an element to the baby's story that was deleted but not put on the DVDs for some reason. I know it had nothing to do with that dark object that was used on the baby because that came in a later episode. Hayley was scared because of a prophecy about a hybrid who destroys all witches, and people, including Hayley, thought the baby would be that hybrid. I'm curious to see if this scene pops up in flashback in Season 2, if for no other reason than to explain those two extra skeletons. The Originals are very neat and clean when it comes to burying their dead. It doesn't make sense for there to be bodies out of place like that.
ReplyDeleteCall me crazy, but I was glad to see Jackson walk away from the Guerrera crap and let Oliver take over the pack since they would probably turn on Jackson anyway. I like Jackson as a character and I'm glad to see him live to fight another day. I heard he won't have much of a role in the fight, though. He's just going to pop up long enough to settle whatever might or might not happen between him and Hayley. He'll find out that she's a hybrid, have his reaction, and then he'll probably fade into the background for a while again. I really don't like that the show is all about Mikaelson family drama now and there's so little of the werewolves. There's no point to introducing likable and interesting characters if the writers are only going to focus on stuff that's already happened at least once. I say kill off Davina and Marcel and bring on more werewolf stories. It would show more balance among the different factions. As it is, it's too late to do away with the Esther and MIkael stuff even though I'm sure more fans than we know about dislike the repeat.
Cami definitely shouldn't serve the purpose of therapist because 1) she's only a student, and 2) she's a little bit psychotic. No one with a healthy mind would have encouraged a teenage girl to trap and torture three powerful vampires. Does it show that I don't like Cami very much? ;) Really, though, I think her character would be more likable if she was less judgmental.
ReplyDeleteFor a moment there I thought that there were more deleted scenes I somehow missed but then I realized these are all just the videos that I uploaded to youtube lmao damn tricksters LOL
ReplyDeleteWe already know that Marcel is sadistic and only cares about power and domination, but you're right. Fans of Marcel probably needed the reminder before The Battle of New Orleans that Marcel is far from innocent.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I don't know what you're talking about cause it doesn't show much though ;) !
ReplyDeleteQuite frankly, I don't think the "psychology" part of her character is always very well "written" so I'm with you on that one, partly. Though I think sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesn't. As for her being psychotic, for some reason I wish you were right lol!! However, if you're referring to the fact she helped Davina who was being chased down by three psychotic vamps who kidnapped her quite silent love-interest then later killed him, I don't think she ever encouraged her but I'll need to re-watch the episode. But being angry and also getting defensive just seems like a normal reaction to me in that particular case lol!
Joking aside, I believe the first season for her was her adjusting to the
fact she was living into a supernatural world as she was taken in to
NOLA's craziness. Whether it's always been well written, I guess, is up to debate! It certainly is a matter of taste as well. I, personally, very much enjoyed the character at the beginning of the season when she was the ONLY female character actually taking action whereas the rest of the ladies were just pawns in this war and she was too in her own way, but at least she was trying to get rid of Klaus' compulsion. Plus, I liked her with her uncle and when she got in charge of his legacy. Her Miss Detective suit is the one that fits her like a glove actually ;) ! What I didn't like was sometimes the "psychology" part, like I said earlier, and the fact sometimes she threatened people without any leverage.
As for her judgementalism, like I said the writers made her, one the moral compasses of the show, I think. So now, the only thing I'd wish for her in regards to that would be that the writers take her somewhere else. I do believe, it'd be great for her to have her convictions sort of shattered by everything that happens there, because being in NOLA and being involved with those people will certainly mean she'll have to make decisions that don't necessarily sit well with her morals! But that would be a long process or at least this isn't something the writers could have explored in season 1. Hopefully they'll take time to flesh her out further.
There I just gave you my wish list for season 2 lol!
lol Hayley falls throught the wall, sees the twins' corpses: I am so done with these people)))
ReplyDeleteShould have kept that scene in the show.
Marcel sent Josh to the party to get Davina out before the vampire attack.
ReplyDeleteKlaus knew Josh wanted a daylight ring from back when he was compelling him, he promised him one if he was loyal.
Mikael compelled hybrid Mindy, Rebekah compelled Tyler in tvd, so, yes, hybrids can be compelled.
Marcel would love to be on Klaus' "level", that's his problem.
