Yeardley Smith (the voice of The Simpsons’ Lisa) will play OB-GYN Dr. Carolyn King on The Mindy Project, EW.com reports. Mindy has to blackmail the doc to get Danny’s mom (played by Cheers‘ Rhea Perlman) an appointment.

    Wonder why Danny's mom has to see an OB/GYN (probably not for the reason I'm thinking but the mental imagery is still hilarious).
