Unless he proves to be a big fan fav I'm not sure he will. I think having another hero with powers on the show will take away from Barry, especially if he's more powerful.
I dunno, we're going to eventually get Vibe as well and he's currently a regular. I feel like with the Flash, you can have more team ups, especially against several villains at once and it could be really fun. If they give it a bit of time and handle it right, it shouldn't take away from Barry. We're also slowly building more heroes on Arrow, seeing as how we now have Arsenal and Laurel is starting her BC storyline, as well as whatever Thea ends up being. I like team ups, personally.
is that the particle accelerator? can't wait to see him in the role, he better crossover on arrow so we Amell Cousins fans can see them sharing a screen together, it still hurts that we don' have Amell Wednesdays but it's awesome that robbie is officially in the DC universe
Vibe is a very smaller hero, beside Cisco likely wont be vibe until later seasons. Firestorm on the other hand is being thrown in from the very beginning, he has a whole lot of powers, he is sort of like a NUCLEAR SUPERMAN. I do think he will take away the focus too much from The Flash, recurring and guest status would be much better.
It's true, but it depends on the writers handle it. For now, it's probably best if he's a recurring character, but the writers can always make him a regular while still promoting Barry as the lead. I'm not too familiar with Firestorm, but maybe there's a way to depower him, just for the beginning? Making him unstable or unsure how to use his powers? And Barry's intellect might also come in play, if Firestorm is all power without planning. Just throwing out ideas.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Is he a guest star? Recurring? What's his deal lol
ReplyDeleteRecurring.
ReplyDeleteTB to The Tomorrow People when he opens the portal!
ReplyDeletewell...I kind of expect Robbie to be a regular by season 2 already (if not by the first half of season 1)
ReplyDeletelove that they put so much work into the CG part, not every day a CW show is so blessed with a CGI budget

ReplyDeleteI need Firestorm to cross over to Arrow, or Oliver to cross over to The Flash in a Firestorm episode, so the Cousins Amell get to share the screen. :)

ReplyDeletei m also kinda surprised that they r going "all in" with the budget thing. to me it looks like its gonna cost cw more than "arrow" budget.
ReplyDeletemaybe they can do a spinoff from flash and give him his own show(i know its too early)
ReplyDeletethe pilot looks to have had a bigger budget that Arrows entire second season had already
ReplyDeleteThe Flash is really an ambitious project by CW. I hope it gets lots of audience.
