Plus TVD and Reign last season. CW always promotes the new toy and then toss it aside the next season unless its TVD thats the only show l can think of thats been promoted every season since season 1. On another note does anyone remember Dawn Ostroff the former CW president who nearly ran the CW into the ground by choosing very bad unimaginative soapy pilots and not picking up any fantasy or scifi shows just because she didn't like the genre. The 100 would definitely have never been made if she was still around.
I just got paid <-$7500 by working part time off of a lap-top by Google.I am making a good salary from h.ome $5500-$7000/week..Last Thursday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this - 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $97 pesdr hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail
I don't think it's a different suit, the effects on this image are just different (it looks more like a drawing than a picture) and make the color look lighter.
She tried to kill Smallville and Supernatural too. I never cared for Supernatural but you have to be really stupid to kill a show that always had good ratings for the network and a huge fanbase.
Ostroff killed shows left and right to keep Gossip Girl in Ney York, a generally expensive location. If she would have decided to move the show to Vancouver or a cheaper location they could probably have saved one or more shows. I always considered it hillarious how she put her least favourite shows into the death slot and yet saw them gathering better ratings than Gossip Girl and OTH.
That's why I`m so thankfull for Mark Pedowitz, he seems to have a good idea of what the CW still can be despite its low ratings (a semi-syfy esque network).
We can thank Ostroff for theCWs current state though, she ran this place into the ground.
Who still remembers Hidden Palms? Everyone knows what Veronica Mars is (something Ostroff couldn`t wait to kill to keep GG) though.
Gossip Girl should have ended in S5 (with a proper ending after reaching 100 episodes) and they should have reduced its budget after it started getting awful ratings in S4.
Hidden Palms, The Beautiful Life and Privileged. Every show Ostroff chose was white rich people's problems lol.
Classic way to choose her personal interests of the companys well being, her leaving certainly didn't hurt the network. What hurt them was her long stay.
You're kidding right? We are still waiting for any kind of Supernatural promo for this season. We have freaking behind the scenes of TVD promos, TVD cast photos, TVD season promos but we still have absolutely nothing for Supernatural.
Yup, it's from Kevin Williamson. Supposedly a midseason run that was fancied into a summer series which never got the chance to fully realize it's potential. Oh, that killer ending.
Yeah I just saw that haha. I wrote my comment before it was released though. We already have two video promos for Arrow though. At least Supernatural has a poster though. Even if it's just badly photoshopped from a previous seasons photoshoot haha.
One was from the Con. The one from few days was taped by fans, not uploaded by the network. So basically fans made it available for everybody else. I find it funny since we didn't even get promo shots for Arrow while other CW shows at least had that.
yeah but wasn't the HD version still uploaded by a fan and then all the media picked it up. And also Stephen linked the same one. It was released in Canada and those are sometimes more revealing then the American versions. Very little effort regarding Arrow from the network.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Surly this show has the record for most promotional photos ever?
ReplyDeleteThat has to be The Originals.

Not just TVD, Supernatural too.
ReplyDeleteIs this the new color of the suit? If so, I like it! The other is too dark.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's a different suit, the effects on this image are just different (it looks more like a drawing than a picture) and make the color look lighter.
ReplyDeleteSPN was royally ignored in the promotional department until season 8 brought ratings miracle and they had to pay attention!
ReplyDeleteBummer...
ReplyDeleteI like it but it doesn't really promote much. If I wasn't already aware of the TV series I wouldn't have a clue that it's promoting a TV series.
ReplyDeleteactually not, the Flash has more. I counted
ReplyDeleteDo I remember Dawn 'GossipGirl' Ostroff? I do
ReplyDeleteDawn 'GossipGirl' Ostroff , good one my friend. I doubt Arrow would have ever happened with her too and by association The Flash.
ReplyDeleteShe tried to kill Smallville and Supernatural too. I never cared for Supernatural but you have to be really stupid to kill a show that always had good ratings for the network and a huge fanbase.

ReplyDeleteThey also don't have new trailers with new footage from the rest. We could be seeing them within the next two or so weeks.

ReplyDeleteThe official SPN poster was released today. The Arrow is coming closer to the premiere according to Suzanne Gomez.

ReplyDeleteBoth are available in HD now though. I am surprised Arrow doesn't have a poster yet though. Although I'd much prefer a video promo than a poster haha.

But someone from the network had to have actually made the trailer and then given it to the cast to take to the convention.
ReplyDeleteOf course, but didn't most returning and new shows provided a trailer at comic con? I have no idea just wondering.
