The Flash has recruited a star from the original series.
Amanda Pays, who co-starred in CBS' 1990s The Flash TV series opposite John Wesley Shipp's Barry Allen, will reprise her role as Dr. Tina McGee on the upcoming The CW drama, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Dr. McGee was an expert geneticist, who was Barry's main ally and love interest. When Pays' alter ego returns to Central City this go-around, she'll be an employee of a rival company to STAR Labs. Shipp, it was revealed back in June, plays Henry, Barry Allen's father.

as a regular or recurring?
ReplyDeleteprobably only recurring, they've been shooting for quite a while now. If anything she comes in 6 or 7 episodes in (if that's a recent casting).
ReplyDeleteAny one hear seen the older Flash show? Was it good? Should I check it out?
ReplyDeleteI think I vaugely remember seeing episodes of it in the early 90's (yes, I'm old). I'd really have to try and get ahold of it again to sample it with adult eyes. It was probably a little on the campier side compared to modern shows. But tv was a different thing back then.
ReplyDeleteHey I bet I am older:) old flash had only one season right. I might check it out. I was not into English tv shows in 90's. I started watching with CSI
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great casting! she had a really cute chemistry with Shipp's character
