The Blacklist - Season 2 Premiere - Sets Series Live+3 Ratings Record

Set a new series record of 17.4 million viewers in L+3, topping the previous high of 16.9 million in L+3 set with last year's series-premiere telecast on Sept. 23, 2013.

Grew by more than 5 million persons in total viewers from L+SD to L+3 (12.341 million vs. 17.361 million).

Now has 12 of the top 13 L+3 total-viewer lifts in U.S. television history, including each of the top four.

Delivered its highest L+3 rating in 18-49 since Dec. 2, 2013 (4.88), the show’s fall finale.

Grew in 18-49 by 1.49 rating points or +44%, up from a year-ago increase of +1.28 or +33% for the series premiere on Sept. 23, 2013.

  4. Wait, so 4.88 was the 3 day demo? If so, what will the 7 day demo be? 6+?

    Whatever the case, the audience is growing, and NBC has to be happy with that.

  7. Awesome news, but not surprising.
    I assumed numbers would be up from the word of mouth, great reviews and the massive promotional campaign. I'm sure it will drop off some, but I seriously doubt it will drop much below last year's numbers.
