For those of us sitting on a train home from work surrounded by very annoying people, could someone be a star and tell me what was in the clip pleasssse?
Sam captured a demon and wants to find out where Crowley (and Dean) is. She tries to get under his skin and, well, Sam isn't really doing so well (dark, aggressive). :)
So, Sam is souless again or what? And she calls him "one of us"? I'm so confused because it doesn't seem like it's Dean she's talking about, she's definitely referring to Sam.
i don't think so, as souless Sam would not have tortured anyone just to find Dean, and if he decided to he would not show any emotion while doing so really. It seemed like she was referring to Dean to me.
um. uh oh. I really really really hope that scene plays better in context...cause ouch. Her dialog was bad and Jared was a little too over the top. I don't want to hate this season. I really don't.
I disagree. Dark Sam and Soulless Sam are two different things. Dark Sam drank demon blood, tried to sell his soul to a demon in exchange for his brother's life, etc. Soulless Sam was kind of a sociopath and didn't really care about anyone or anything.
The only problem I see this season is how they will eventually cure Dean. I think the guy tracking Dean will somehow be tricked or coerced into taking the mark. Even if they heal Dean like they have other demons he still has the Mark Of Cain. It will be extremely interesting to see how this season plays out. I really cannot wait, actually excited for Supernatural!!
I think he will use that blood to inflict on the demon or a tracking substance. That does sound interesting if demon Dean Vs Dark Sam. This particular scene looks like angry Sam :)
If that's the case then I wish they would have cast someone else. It's very difficult to shoot scenes with someone who doesn't know what they're doing, and I think it shows in Jared's performance.
It's not her first; Raquel Riskin has pretty extensive resume and she has been on the show before, in the 'bit part' of Amber, the babysitter from the 'Jesse' episode who died in the teaser. I'm not going to judge her until I see all the scenes including her character in the premiere.
I didn't realize that she'd been on SPN before. Still, something's off about her performance in this clip. Or maybe she's supposed to be like that, I don't know? I feel like Snooki(?) did a better job as a crossroads demon, haha... Just kidding! I'll wait until I see the whole episode.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteDark Sam is terrifying. JP did a great job.

ReplyDeleteNot trying to start anything, but hope this isn't one of the only scenes with Sam in the whole episode.
ReplyDeleteIt's not. He was seen filming other stuff for this episode and I'm pretty sure the Cole stuff starts off in the episode and continues in episode two.
ReplyDeleteYou are a star! Thank you anonymous guest.

ReplyDeleteI love Dark Sam and Soulless Sam. I've always found him more interesting when he's borderline evil but still human.
ReplyDeleteNice Sammy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like desperate time call for desperate measures !
ReplyDeleteYikes - Moose is PISSED n on a mission !
Love Jared and everything, but that wasn't the best acting I've ever seen... :/

ReplyDeleteI think Jared was great, but the girl sounded like she was reading some of her lines for the first time. Not the best acting on her part.
ReplyDelete"Where's my son!", lol. Reminded me of Mel Gibson.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many times she went over her lines before they shot this scene... She's also "acting" a bit too much.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the dark Sam, this is desperate Sam. Dark Sam was Sam without a soul.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. Dark Sam and Soulless Sam are two different things. Dark Sam drank demon blood, tried to sell his soul to a demon in exchange for his brother's life, etc. Soulless Sam was kind of a sociopath and didn't really care about anyone or anything.
ReplyDeleteWell that is my opinion. So to me this is just desperate Sam.
ReplyDeleteSam looked crazy at the end! She better start talking!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this will be better in scene. I'm just glad to see them remember their own lore. I wish this girl had the energy Nikki Aycox had.
ReplyDelete1st off I am not going too watch I wait untell next week Ep But with all you guys are saying is Sam going crazy Dark here I like it.
ReplyDeleteOMG SAMMY!!! Everything for his Dean!! ♥
ReplyDeleteDrink the blood Sam, Demon Dean Vs Dark Sam.

ReplyDeleteWow scary Sammy lol. Great to see Sam pick this Dean thing up quickly.

ReplyDeleteSAM IS GOING NUTS
ReplyDeleteGood way to get them into Supernatural and the fandom :)
ReplyDeleteWith good reason.
ReplyDeleteIf this is her first job you're probably right.
