Stanistan - Jennifer Carpenter gets Lead Role

Dexter alumna Jennifer Carpenter will lead the cast of USA’s hourlong pilot Stanistan, which follows the staff at the American compound in the Middle Eastern country of Stanistan, where State Department workers, covert CIA officers and journalists strike a delicate balance of danger and levity.

Carpenter will play Public Affairs Officer Marcie Post, daughter of a well-respected diplomat and the newly appointed spin-master for all U.S. government activity in the country.
