Sons Of Anarchy - Toil And Till - Advanced Preview
15 Sept 2014
GN Reviews Sons of AnarchySons Of Anarchy will air its second episode of its final season on Tuesday night. Episode 1, Black Widower, was a great introduction to the season last week as we learned Jax's new philosophy on life and where his journey is headed. He needs to get closure on the death of Tara and, to me, will believe anyone willing to offer up info on the matter. Gemma is a great liar, we all know, but we watch in anticipation for the moment when Jax figures out it was her who killed Tara and Juice knew all along.
Toil and Till, episode two, will air Tuesday night in the 13 episode final season. Judging by what I have seen so far it will be a life-altering journey for our favorite motorcycle riding rebel, Jax Teller. The twists and turns Jax is going down, seeking revenge as well as answers, has many obstacle. This Tuesday's episode provides us with more of what Jax is planning, setting up the rest of the season appropriately.
For now, this season appears to be about Jax and his MC seeking to avenge Tara's death and seek the truth involving that tragic night at his home. This episode reveals a little more about Jax's overall plan, which is wider in scope than we originally thought. As great as I envisioned the season was going to be after watching the premiere last Tuesday, after hearing Jax's complete intentions, will make it exponentially better. The music this season also makes a large impact, so keep an ear open for all the great song selections Sutter has incorporated into the series.
Scenes to Notice
- We are used to seeing great chase scenes involving our favorite MC and this episode has one of the best. Keep an eye out for Jax and the MC in a great chase scene that, the ramifications of which, I believe, will be a pivotal moment for some or most of the remainder of the season.
- Juice and Unser's scenes will be very important as the season progresses.
- A pivotal moment happens near the end of the episode as Jax and the MC are involved in a surprising twist that will have season long consequences.
Tagline Teasers
I have a quite a bit of people tell me how much they enjoy my 'Tagline Game', thank you very much for that. I have decided to change the name to 'Tagline Teasers' because it offers clues to what the episode could be about. Please be sure to choose which one you think I will use in the comments section. I like to create my Taglines based on pivotal and crucial lines delivered by the characters. See if you can guess who said what and I will let you know if you are or night.
