They might very well focus more on storylines this season but it's much easier to promote something like this in a teaser promo than some future plot that the audience is not aware of yet.
I'm with you. By far, the least interesting aspect of Saving Hope is some lukewarm love triangle. The show doesn't need it and everyone's time could be better spent on other more interesting subplots.
As for the shortcomings of the roles Daniel Gilles takes on, I'm leery of nitpicking the quality of roles of actors/actresses I like because it seems as soon as I do that they end up needing to look for work. I'm going to stick by the old nonsensical adage "don't look a gift horse in the mouth."
Totally with you, just remembering the way the writers teased us with a love triangle between Maggie/Gavin/that new doctor only to then reveal the new guy as a substance abusing junkie was brilliant. Such plots stick with you. Pure romance doese't
True...I'm just slightly bitter about the way Elijah has been written in The Originals
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
oh sheesh, they're promoting the triangle again. And I was hoping they would hopefully focus on the storyline more this season.
ReplyDeleteThank god the show is waay better then that promo

ReplyDeleteagreed, the show is more than romance
ReplyDeletetrue, it just irked me to see the triangle being a focus in the promo
ReplyDeleteBegs to question: will Daniel Gillies ever be a lead on a show where he is not misused as a love interest?
