    It looks like it's the final season. I guess it's better to use 'final season' in the promos, so they'll gain more viewers.

    Yes and almost all of the new footage is blink-and-you'll-miss-it shots! Ugh, I'm so sick of shows doing this, I shouldn't have to play everything in slo-mo.

    Great trailer! It invites people to catch up with everything that happens while setting the mood for the season and at the same time it offers new- if limited footage- to make regular viewers anxious about its return. Nice play ABC! Now, be sure to play this trailer as often as you can in TV!

    Yep, but they are doing so in order to catch people up; the viewership went down big time in S2 and S3, so this trailer actually could help people to watch the S4 and get what happens even if they didn't watch the previous seasons, so I think it's a smart play. Besides it sets the mood and themes for S4, while also offering new- if limited- footage to leave as guessing.
    I think they did what they had to do, and even with almost no new footage, it was a well done trailer

    Victoria's voiceover isn't really working for me, no intencity nothing.
    The flashes of what's to come looked good but let's see how it will the story go from here.

    I agree completely; last year it was a genious move to only tell us that Emily was shot. This year the trailer only tell us that Victoria is out for blood and probably escaped from the looney bin. These kind of stuff makes you excited and keeps everything under the curtains, so when you unveil them you are surprised by what's behind.

    It worked last year, the premiere got up 6 tenths and it almost completely held on OUAT's premiere ratings, so I think this year we are going to see another premiere increase- or at least I hope so. Now, if those viewers could stick the whole season, that would be awesome

    i'm hoping that viewers will at least give it a chance. sure last year we saw a huge increase but then it kept dropping in ratings each episode. but in my opinion if the premiere is good then i'm pretty sure that revenge will stabilize, cause the premiere is going to be a deal breaker for most people.

    ABC didn't make it. One of the writers said that when they showed the promo to ABC they loved it, so they didn't have anything to do with it; they just release it.

    Okay, so by constantly pausing and playing again, I get this -


    - Charlotte on the ledge, seemingly about to jump
    - Two people in a car in an alley, looks like Daniel and Emily to me but it seems unlikely they'll ride together, so I'm probably wrong about at least one
    - Nolan raising his glass at a party in Grayson manor
    - Outdoor shot of that boat we saw in the promo photos, again looks like an event of some sort
    - Jack walking into the Stowaway
    - Gideon being arrested
    - Daniel, dressed in black like a burglar (?), in a parking lot
    - Victoria running in the woods (having escaped from the mental institution?)
    - Someone looking at the rearview of the car, or some other small mirror - possibly Jack
    - A distressed Emily pressing her palm to her forehead
    - David (?) standing against the wall in the beach house
    - Jack's new cop friend, whose name escapes me at the moment, shirtless with a towel on his shoulder
    - Victoria seemingly in a physical struggle with another woman (an orderly?) at the mental institution
    - An escalator in some building
    - Nolan being carried by the sailors from that event in the promo photos
    - Gideon with Charlotte or whoever in bed (can you say "ew"? That guy is dripping sleaze)
    - Daniel walking over to a car while on the phone
    - A distressed Emily with a cop coming up behind her
    - Charlotte peeking through a door

    the scene of the escalator, if you pay very attention you can see a short blond hair (perhaps Margaux) and next to the woman there is a guy with long hair (Gideon). I see bags so i believe it is in a airport.

    Nice catch! Also, I didn't realize that guy was Jack (he looked so different clean-shaven). Go figure how he went from being arrested for Charlotte's kidnapping to being a cop. At least now I understand what people are referring to when they mention Jack being a cop.


    Now we know why Ems looks freaked out.
