Fox’s new medical dramedy Red Band Society is taking a Moore-the-merrier approach when it comes to its casting, tapping Mandy Moore to join Season 1 in a recurring role. The singer-actress will play Dr. Erin Grace, Chief of Staff at Ocean Park Hospital, which also happens to employ her ex-fiancée Dr. McAndrew, played by Brothers & Sisters‘ Dave Annable.

Andrea Parker has booked a recurring role on Fox’s coming-of age-drama series Red Band Society, from ABC Studios and Amblin TV. Written/exec produced by Margaret Nagle and based on a Spanish format, Red Band Society revolves around teenagers who are long-term hospital patients. APA-repped Parker will play Sarah, Kara Sounders mom (Zoe Levin), a wealthy, driven, dedicated and fashionable mother who has connections and usually gets what she wants. She is the ‘alpha dog’ in her lesbian relationship and hell-bent on finding a way to move her daughter up the organ donation list to receive a new heart.
