Great episode. I really felt for Wendy and Joanna they have been so much trying to protect the family and having to remember every painful moment is definitely a special kind of torture.
I was extremely happy Ingrid was faking i was hoping that she was, that she wouldnt just forget all the people killed to get her Grandfather in east end including her friend, Tommy and almost herself.
Dash is just a moron, his levels of stupidity just keep increasing, taking the FBI agent into your home where all your secrets are? Especially when she is investigating the person you killed? Going to the morgue to destroy evidence when you are one of the only people to know the body is there? At that point he had no known connection to the victim he may as well printed a target on his chest.
Freya possessed was scary but it was kind of fun to see he use more active powers instead of speĺls and potions.
at first it was Freya that got on my nerves.. but now more and more Ingrid is working them to.. she's the most naive person in the world...I'm left with only liking Wendy and Joanna
This close to the end of the season the episode was a bit of a let down. Daddy dearest finally arrives in town and we spent most of the hour in the past. Killed the momentum they've built up for me.
Can't help but think Killian's making a huge mistake. Hope Ingrid's about to be smart. Dash is in trouble and I like it.
I'm glad we got to see this past life for the characters. I've been wanting the show to explore their past lives more, and in more substance. It was interesting to see past-Joanna be such a mess after Victor left them. I guess I understand now why present-Joanna wasn't more broken up over his death. Victor left her before, and she mourned that 'loss' already; so his death is almost like him leaving her again. Plus, in the years since this particular past, maybe Joanna became more emotionally strong, with each of her new losses.
Wendy is still so awesome, past and present. I like Wendy always so fearlessly trying to protect her family, even if she may be outmatched. That girl's always got spunk.
This episode redeemed Ingrid from last episode's WTH moment. I'm glad present-Ingrid's only pretending to side with her grandfather in order to help her family. And this particular past-Ingrid is so selfless, willing to die for the greater good.
Yo, present-Joanna. Can you be more creepy asking past-Joanna for the box? If I saw a version of myself asking me for something in that tone, I'd be freaked out too.
It was an OK episode, but I agree with the person who said that it killed the momentum. I get why they made most of this episode a flashback, but I tend to get bored when they drag on for too long Also, at this point most of them have revolved around past Freya and past Killian and I don't need to see every version of their relationship. So I'm guessing that Joanna and Wendy always new that Killian was in all of Freya's past lives but decided not to mention it to her? Did I miss the part where they addressed that?
Ingrid, who was really starting to annoy me, finallyredeemed herself a bit. She seems to be the master of bad decisions (which is probably why she and Dash make a great pair!). Staying with her father instead of trusting Joanna and Wendy seemed like a classic Ingrid move, so I'm really relieved that she actually had a real plan. I don't know what to think of Frederick. I think Killian's making a mistake and there's really no redeeming Dash. There must be a wiser way that he could use his powers..... Anyway, I'm relieved that the finale is two hours instead of one.

In all fairness... Killian didn't look like himself while being Poe. BYW I totally called last week Ingrid staying to go against her grandfather, but going after dash to help her do it... Poor girl, she's betting on the wrong horse. She kind should have go after Killian, the other warlock who would love to hep the family and is more trustworthy, you know. So, I guess Joanna is going to see her sister in the underworld after all, someone gotta get Killian back, right? By the way, again, who thinks that Killian was the one who put the course into him and Freya without realizing he was a warlock when being Poe? I mean, he was able to get the demon out, even if just for some time, and his poem about the girl dying soon but the lover's souls being always connected, could work as a weird spell without him knowing? I found it a very interesting insight of him.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Damn, this season is really dark. What the hell. And please hurry up and renew the show soon, Lifetime. I need more of it in my life.
ReplyDeleteDash needs to look at his life, look at his choice. And whoa, possessed!Freya was terrifying.
Great episode!

Just when I think this show can't possibly get any worse...it does. Ugh. What an awfully written, poorly produced episode.
