That was a traumatizing as fuck but great episode of this show. Wow that hurt. I'm glad the grandfather brought Ingrid and Freya back but this is going to backfire somehow. And why exactly did Ingrid stay? Seems like a really bad move.
And Sarah Lancaster's character is an FBI agent. This won't end well for Dash (and I'm choosing to believe his mind translates grief to having all the grief sex to getting it out of his system).
Ehh not one of my favorites this season. And why does Ingrid seem so dumb, she does stupid stupid things. I don't see Frederick making it out of the season alive either. I'm not even sure if Dash will make it much longer. Speaking of Dash he makes it so hard to like him at firsy you kindafelt for him when he found out Ingrid died. But then he has sex with some random girl. It kills me cause he could be a decent guy, he was when the show started. And the Eva storying isn't over I guess, I love the girl who played Eva but the story sucked. Oh well. Wonder when we will hear about a renewal.
Talk about drama for your witch momma! I loved this episode all the same. For Ingrid to be a librarian and have a love for reading and books she has got to be the dumbest witch Jesus died for. Ijs.freya is still my girl, she's always on point and ready to fall in sync and be a team player. Frederick is getting on my last nerve , Wendy should have got her extra life points before clearing it, Johanna keeps an ace in the hole, & grandpa is plotting all sorts of shenanigans! Dying to find out the true agenda of it all. Great work Witches Of East End!
Ingrid and Dash are both idiots and are perfect for each other! Good grief! I want to slap Ingrid up side the head most of the time!! Can't she ever trust her mother! Her actual family! Her grandfather is the one who sent the Mandragora there and look how well that turned out for her. Does she have amnesia! Idiot! Dash.. Oh he cares for Ingrid alright. The minute she doesn't answer the phone or something bad happens to her he finds the next thing that walks up to him and hops in the sack with her! I love Freya because at least she has her head on straight and fights for what she loves. I have a bad feeling about Frederick by the end of the season too. Can't wait to see how things play out.
She's an FBI agent with a pretty unhealthy private life. Nope. Not gonna end well at all.
Um. My stupid living room DVR cut the ep off about a minute out (I can see the end on my bedroom dvr no worries) The thing that's making me nuts right now is...was this the season finale and if not how many eps to go?
Here's the thing... Ingrid said that when she died she was locked in the house, and that she saw everything. This means she might have seen something we didn't, maybe that's why she's plying the nice granddaughter.
Word! I was very angry by the end of the episode. Joanna should've just waited for her imminent pregnancy. I'd much rather see her give birth to her daughters with new personalities (great added bonus) and how that all plays out.
Interesting theory. I think Ingrid is letting the curiosity get the better of her and just being foolish, once again. She's a stubborn one, that Ingrid. Always thinks she knows best.
One of my favorite things about this show is the awesome sisterly bond between Joanna and Wendy. The actresses do such a good job, it isn't too hard to believe they're sisters. I like how protective Wendy is of Joanna, even if it's to keep Frederick away from his mother, or even to bring back their evil father, so that he can resurrect the girls. This sisterly bond was especially great in that scene with Wendy comforting Joanna in the bedroom.
Just when I thought that awful Eva storyline was over, they drag out it out some more.
Dang, that bar girl was super desperate to hook up with someone, anyone. I thought that bar sex scene looked awkward and forced. And now that I've seen the deleted scene of Joanna dreaming about dead-Ingrid and dead-Freya, I'm even less happy they kept the bar sex scene instead of that dream sequence, which was much more interesting.
When they first showed the kind, for some reason, I expected him to be different. After a few scenes, I do get why they cast this actor though. He does ooze that creepy factor well.
I know it's not right that Joanna has so many secrets and has lied about so much about the past, but these little surprises she springs out once in a while, especially in dire circumstances, is always something interesting, and totally cool. I actually look at Joanna, each time something big happens and there seems to be no way out, 'cause you know Joanna always has some kind of exit strategy or secret weapon stashed somewhere.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

woao. This episode had EVERYTHING!
ReplyDeleteThree more to go. The finale is a two-hour special, and it makes 12th and the 13th episode aired all in the same day.
ReplyDeleteRIP Tommy unless those Beauchamps can find a way to bring him back from Gramps' clutches.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cop-out to have them resurrected without any consequences.
ReplyDeletethank you
