I had so many thoughts and then the end ruined it. WHAT THE FUCK. I honestly didn't think they'd kill Freya and Ingrid although in retrospect, should have seen it coming.
And at least Killian's free from Eva but ugh at the Killian and Dash fight. Why.
I knew they were, because it was spoiled in the episode description for next week. I suspect they'll somehow come back though instead of being reborn like they should be.
I only started watching this show a couple of episodes ago (and kinda wiki'd the characters and previous story lines) but I'm liking it so far. And it seems like I missed all the annoying triangle stuff in the first season so I can appreciate that. Even though Frederick is shady as fuck I still like him and am glad he proved his loyalty to his family in the end. I hope they finally come to accept him because he does seem to love them. I find Dash to be annoying; he's also get a temper problem.
DA HELL! kind of a bumemr that the promotional photos for the enxt episodes show them kind of alive tho i remember comment that they look dead and WTF that happend today. SHIT got real. I never thought that could happen. Amazing there was a lot to take in.
Wow things really are heating up! I like that Dash finally began to look back on himself and own up for what he had done, or at least he tried. The brothers are way more interesting when they are fighting, and Dash when dark. I love the shock value of this episode! Such an eerie scene of the girls at the end. So sunny yet the tree never looked more horrifying.
The end of the Eva story was a bit anticlimactic. It felt like the writers decided it wasn't working and just ended it.
I did NOT expect Ingrid and Freya to die during the series. At least Freya got one more birthday than she'd ever had before. I'm really glad that they let the audience know that Fredrick is telling the truth about being loyal to his sisters and mother.
I've been trying to figure out the brothers. They've felt a little all over the place the last couple of episodes. 'All over the place' isn't exactly what I mean. I think it's Dash that I have a problem with. I don't know who that character is. Sometimes he's a good guy. Sometimes he's a bad guy. Sometimes he's a guy who wants to be the good guy. Consequently, I didn't believe him when he told Ingrid he would tell Killian the truth. I was actually surprised he did it.
When we saw that Dash's bottle with the doll was broken my first thought was 'wait, is this the season finale?' And they were packing dire scene on top of dire scene and the sisters are dead.
I never really saw Dash as a good guy myself, but not quite a villain yet regardless of him being a killer. He seems to be somewhere in the middle of Fredrick and Tarkoff(or maybe just before where Fredrick went off the deep end) to me. Even though Fredrick's perception of everything is suspect, he did hint at Killian being just as dangerous. I honestly don't consider Fredrick loyalty to them just yet, as we've yet to see him come face to face with his grandfather, and seems to me he will at some point.
That was one hell of an episode, twists, deaths, fighting. It was probably my favorite episode this season. I personally like Dash, I mean he's got a bit of a dark side but ao doea Killian and for that matter Freya and Ingrid too. Maybe not in their current livea but in their past ones they both were dark at some point. I was glad to see Eva go, while I like the actress it was time for her to go. It was nice to see Freya try and help her for Killians sake even though she was evil and using him. And how about Tommy poor Tommy. Really hope they find a way to save him, poor Wendy is so unlucky when it comes to men. And she deserves a good man and Tommy is a good man.
Fredrick on the other hand I never really trusted him, and I don't think we should now. Yes he might of killed Tarkoff but he's done pleanty of things that prove he's untrustworthy. I really thought he would die last night. Couldn't believe they killed the girls, although I can't imagine they won't come bwck some how. Joanna is a bad ass she will figure it out. Great episode, this show is clearly doing better during the 2nd season. Lets hope Lifetime renews it soon.
I know they aren't going to do it because as a show we need adult actors, but could the girls even be reborn with Victor dead?
I was shocked they killed them, but I'm sure it won't stick. And Eva was totally anticlimatic, but maybe her story was to fit into how they bring the girls back?
You're right she just finds herself pregnant doesn't she? But, I'm not sure. They always have the same dad. I think an argument could be made that without his "presence" it might disturb the curse. Didn't they say something when he died?
omg! I did not see that coming (having avoided the "major spoiler" post) but judging from next week's pictures, looks like they reverse it! I was sort of hoping for a fresh start for all of them!
I know that the mother and sister are powerful but I am getting tired of the family being split-up. They all seem to be off dealing with 3 magical crisis. I know the mother and sister are strong but the girls could have been there for back-up. Eeevvvil grandpa is trying to come back to this dimension so you go to work at the Library - Really? The daughter's being killed was a great shock.
Age is finally catching up to him and we now know what Bianca Lawson will look like when she finally gets old! She looks the same in Buffy, Dawson, PLL & Teen Wolf.
Are you referring to Fredrick talking about Killian back in Asgard? That confused me because they're third generation from a character that was from Asgard. Are all children of Asgardians reincarnations or rebirths of people from Asgard?
Interesting point about Fredrick. I think he is loyal to his mother and sisters but you're right....the real question is...is it true loyalty or fair weather loyalty? Will Fredrick be strong enough to stick by them in the face of his Grandfather.
i would be more worried about his view of loyalty because killing tommy and himself would have been a smart play but i don't think joanna and wendy would have appreciated that very much
Not necessarily. In the pilot Joanna says one girl dies first, and the other one shortly thereafter. Perhaps she'll give birth to one, get pregnant again (instantly at 9 months) and birth the other.
I'm actually glad Dash's true motives have been sketchy, at best. I like that his character is portrayed in shades of grey and not just black or white. That's how people are in the real world...no one is either purely good or evil. Good people do bad things all the time, and the inverse is also true.
This episode was pretty fantastic, which leads me to believe the momentum will end there when they inevitably resurrect the sisters as 30somethings. I only wonder what lame excuse the writers will employ to pull it off, since it has not been able to be done in any previous life. :\
I was thinking the same thing but there is one way i can see that would not be an easy cheat if the king brings them back seering as he's the one who cursed them in the first place
In the Bar when Frederick told him to stay away from his sister. He said something to the effect the he didn't like the way he'd treated her before. Killian said he had no clue what he was talking about. And Frederick said he remembered Killian from Asgard. At least that's how I remember it.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad I avoided those spoilers because that would have ruined the shock. Go me for avoiding the life-ruining spoilers for once!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I think you're right about them somehow coming back.
They better renew this show

Since Joanna doesn't need to have sex to get pregnant, yes, the girls can be reborn with Victor dead.
ReplyDeleteI really feel sorry for Fredrick!!! Hope they'll keep him for more than 1 season. This episode was awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're right she just finds herself pregnant doesn't she? But, I'm not sure. They always have the same dad. I think an argument could be made that without his "presence" it might disturb the curse. Didn't they say something when he died?
ReplyDeleteI don't remember.
ReplyDeleteomg! I did not see that coming (having avoided the "major spoiler" post) but judging from next week's pictures, looks like they reverse it! I was sort of hoping for a fresh start for all of them!
ReplyDeletewhat do you mean free of her.. I wished they'd kept her around for at least a little longer...
ReplyDeleteEva is dead!!Yes!!!!The final cliffhanger is pretty interesting and I liked Killian and Dash's fight. What does that voodoo doll mean?
ReplyDeleteyeah.. I wish they'd have done something else with Bianca Lawson for the show
ReplyDeleteAww what an episode! Hope the sisters come back
ReplyDeleteThat's the spell ingrid put on the body (of the man dash killed ) to stay on the bottem of the ocean.
ReplyDeleteIt being broken means the spell is broken.
Was a good one everything i found predictable in/about the last episode took a different path then expected :)
ReplyDeleteIs there a reason why the girls can't come back reborn with a time jump of 30 years?
How does that work btw can anybody tell me?
Ingrid's open eyes creeped me out.
ReplyDeleteI didn't remember that. Dash is going to have some serious problems.
ReplyDeletedamn I almost didn't recognize James Marsters.. he's getting old
ReplyDeleteI know that the mother and sister are powerful but I am getting tired of the family being split-up. They all seem to be off dealing with 3 magical crisis. ReplyDeleteHow does that work?
ReplyDeleteJoanna gets instantly 9 months pregnant with Ingrid and a year later the same with Freya?
Finally, Eva is dead... YES!
ReplyDeleteKillian and Dash's fight
Powers everywhere (nice scorpions)
DAT cliffhanger, the best episode of the season
11/10
Ohhhh, I did not expect the end.............................................

ReplyDeletei thought ingrid did not know what was happening
ReplyDeleteI guess since they died at the same time this time, they would be twins xD
ReplyDeleteExcellent point!
ReplyDeleteI've complained about several episodes this season but this one was really great!
ReplyDeleteAnd Eva's dead, thank god. Now if only they'd recast the younger set of Beauchamp witches or have them be little girls...
And does no one ever USE that library? Why is it always vacant for magickal hijinks?!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'll be resurrected or find a way to make the 30yr time jump. Lifetime won't be ditching deadweight RB or JDT anytime soon. Unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily. In the pilot Joanna says one girl dies first, and the other one shortly thereafter. Perhaps she'll give birth to one, get pregnant again (instantly at 9 months) and birth the other.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly felt like a finale, didn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm actually glad Dash's true motives have been sketchy, at best. I like that his character is portrayed in shades of grey and not just black or white. ReplyDeletethis is so confusing
ReplyDeleteauwch
ReplyDeletethat's very honest but i cant say i totally disagree i do like the potential for ingrid's story with dash
hahahaha
ReplyDeleteWhen did Frederick say something about Killian being from Asgard? But I do believe he was from there and has a connection to their family.
ReplyDeleteIn the Bar when Frederick told him to stay away from his sister. He said something to the effect the he didn't like the way he'd treated her before. Killian said he had no clue what he was talking about. And Frederick said he remembered Killian from Asgard. At least that's how I remember it.
