First thing I was gonna say if Derek Really Died was, wtf that was the worst death ever, then a little black wolf with blue eyes appeared and bit the face out of Kate. When Derek said he was just evolving, I got it! he just turned 30 in the show(probably) and he has now evolved in to Zoroark.
And the Scott vs Peter fight was pretty fun, finally a decent fight. Peter in werewolf form is funny he makes awkwardly weird/funny body movements but it ads to his wicked character. I was glad Scott didn't have to kill. And instead finally utilized his quick speed and strength in accurate fighting movements. -oh destroying the Berserker table at the end would been a nice touch. just saying(come on writers).
Post fight, was a bit lacking but I guess enough. I would of like the group to have a hangout session together, finally lets all watch Star Wars or something at Stiles House or just all chatting together.
-But knowing Kira has her First Tail now is also interesting. -Derek and Braeden can be all touchy feely, and how about that Desert Wolf correlation with Malia's mom. -Lol Stiles got his punishment while Malia gets to have pizza with Stilinski. -That Lacrosse bit was kind of unneeded that time could of gone to my hanging out idea. -And seems like Lydia gonna help Parrish with who he is.
Talking about the Bestiary, the first one on the list Ranimas would make a crazy enemy. Its Bite, its Wings, its Spiky Tail! He has the full monster package there.
But seems like we are going to get Some Godly Monstrous being From the Eichen House that seems to scary everyone, hey even Peter.
awesome season finale the stiles, malia, stillinski hug was sooooo cute and lol at stiles, scott being a complete badass and i loved his line to peter" you were never an alpha but you were always a monster", i never honestly though derek died because i thought it was too soon in the episode and i thought the wolf the desert wolf not derek so that was an awesome surprise, i love that liam used scott's line to get him back to normal, the mantra that got liam under conrtrol worries that he'll go to satomi's pack
I have mixed feelings on the finale. I wish that had been the end of Kate. She's beyond annoying and never stops talking. Derek going full wolf was unexpected. And it just came out of nowhere. I'm glad they locked Peter up since they ruined his character anyway. And I really like Third Eye guy. I'm guessing we'll see him again.
But as a whole, I didn't come away feeling very satisfied with this ep. I didn't feel like it had a strong arc or that we even got a strong cliffhanger. To me, this has been the weakest season we've ever had, and the finale for it was just as weak. I hope it gets better, but I don't know. They keep pushing the Desert Wolf thing, and I simply do not care who the Desert Wolf is. They haven't really given us a reason to care.
I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Derek is a true wolf!!!! All in all good finale but nothing surprising either on the other hand this time it was not all far fetched. Glad that Papa Argent survived. Seeing Peter leading was nice, I would for once like to see this actor in an alpha role, not Peter though he should keep is Lokinish.
Actually I've been suspecting Derek to become a full wolf ever since he lost his powers. His character became more centered and wise-ish, something I had the impression was essential to the true wolves.
Eichen is Germen for Oak. So Eichen House is Oak House. The Frame work of Eichen House is made of oak, just like the typical medieval houses (half-timbered/Tudor Style) in central Europe.
I was a bit disappointed, because the word here was that the finale would have 1 hour 15 minutes and instead of it it was just 52 minutes. But I'm so glad that Derek is alive and so is Chris, it's a big relief. I was afraid that they would let Scott to kill someone, so it was a really nice surprise that they didn't. The fact that Liam brought him back haven't suprprised me at all, I was expected that and i think it was the most sloppy scene in the finale. He managed to bring him back with what? three words? Oh, come on! But I have to admit I almost stopped breathing when Chris showed up with the cavalry. He is just awsome. And I almost cried when he was saying "goodbye" to scott. I missed there a big hug, though. They have a relationship like father and son, so it didn't feel complete to me. And his deal with the calaveras? It was so noble. To agree that he will hunt his sister to save his daughter's friends? Nice move Jeff! And Derek as a full wolf? just wow, amazing twist. These two things I really haven't expected there. And I'm just so happy for Derek, he totally deserve this. At the end, I was pleased with Malia and her evolving and it was so good to see the Sherif showed he cares about her and she belongs kinda to the family.
Don't understand how Scott all of sudden was able to control himself and rip off the berserker skull because Liam reminded him he is a werewolf, it seems like that should have been a bigger moment, more of a struggle or a good time to use Scott's mantra "be your own anchor"
I went with OK, I was very disappointed by things i had great expectations for. Like Scott going out of his Berserker mode like "OK, I'll just take off this mask now fwuh"... And the non-death/evolving of Derek => if he was evolving all along, what did Kate do? I didn't get it....
But as always the first part was great, the middle was disappointing, and the last 5 mintues were pure amazing teen Wolf :).
Disappointing for the most part.... Too many "ultimate showdowns" were resolved too easily and quickly. No one can injure the Beserkers, but after Derek wolfs out he can rip a berserker skull apart? Scott did likewise after looking into his betas eyes... How sweet? Ugh. Then Peter and Scott finally mix up and we get Matrix moments for some reason. It all felt cheap to me and like it cheated the viewer.
I'm just beyond pissed that Peter and Kate are still alive. This season was pretty disappointing other than the addition of Parrish, Liam & Breaden, I love them. As always I love Scott, Lydia and Derek too but not Stiles anymore. Jeff hinted that season 5 will be more like season 3 was so im hoping it improves, I hope people stick with the show too and it won't be the last season.
For me it was the most desappointing season finale, it was pretty boring, and it ended without any revelation or a boom that would make me wanna see more. This season was the worst, they didn´t make the episodes interesting and the storyline didn´t convince me.
It was only ok. I´m not really watching for the fight scenes, so I didn´t really care about the big fight with The Berserkers. And I thought they got away with it too easy. The fought them so many times without doing a ny kind of damage, but all of a sudden (just because it was the finale), they have the strength to kill them!! Nahh....sorry, it is just silly. I liked that Derek turned into a wolf, I didn´t see it coming and it was a nice surprice. And ofcourse I liked Stiles and Lydia, they are always my favorite part of the show. So I´m guessing that next season is about the Desert Wolf.... I hope it get´s interesting.
LOL Stiles got handcuffed and his dad took Malia to dinner! I'm glad to see Malia get constant loving parental attention because she's probably going to need it.
I can't believe Derek's girlfriend is hunting Malia's mother. That should be interesting. Maybe Malia hit the bad parent jackpot, poor girl. Peter is definitely done, stuck in a cell with that weirdo with one eye. I don't think the whole Scott-doesn't-kill-anyone thing can last forever, though. Sooner or later he's going to have to defend himself or someone else with lethal force, or it will just seem too unrealistic, even for a show about werewolves. I was glad to see Liam be the one to snap Scott out of the berserker thing. Liam is starting to be my favorite character.
I called it. I knew Chris would eventually have to leave for some reason if he didn't get killed off. There aren't anymore stories to tell with him aside from the occasional continuation of the Kate storyline. That will drag out for another season at the most, if the hunt for Kate happens on-screen in more than a couple of episodes.
Oh, and yay! Lydia is helping Parrish find out what he is. I'm not really a shipper, but that's one couple I can get behind, although it'll have to wait until Lydia is 18 or it'll just be wrong. Parrish is a cop. It seemed like Parrish was really hurt to see Chris leave. I'm guessing Parrish doesn't connect with a lot of people, and Chris was the first character we've seen him really bond with.
True Scott will eventually kill depending on Jeff D that guy could do anything. My problem with Kate is with the writing her character could be more sympathetic if we knew something more personal about her , maybe a flashback with Chris as kids to see why shes so messed up . But with a father like Papa Argent who wouldnt be , its a miracle Chris became a good guy. The Argent family has fallen , I hope they decide what to do with Kate maybe after that talk with Chris she will either remain bad and ultimately die or she will evolve and try and atone for her sins , which are many. Liam is great too , I hope the show next season is more consistant dealing Alisons departure from the show really changed things . I laughed pretty hard when the sheriff hand cuffed (grounded) Stiles and decided to take his daughter in law out for lunch. I love the characters on this show so much , it sucks we have to wait until next year for anything new.
Didn't like this season at all. Allison left a huge hole in the show, i don't feel the same with her gone, Scott and Kira don't even come close to Allison and Scott, i find her character boring, i sont think its the actress fault but the writers that kind of left her alone. This season started good but everything got disconnected somehow to me and in the end i didnt understand if this season was about something or nothing... idk i gues im gonna watch first few eps next season if they dont satisfy me im going to dropped this.
Sadly that's the way of American TV these days. Hour shows were running at roughly 50-52 minutes when I was a kid. Then they dropped to about 45 mins, then 42, and now we're lucky if we get 48.
What is a true wolf? I'm sort of lost in all of the wolf mythology on this show. Between alphas, betas, omegas, were coyotes, were panthers and true alphas I have no idea what's going on anymore haha.
Oh sorry that's my expression for Talia and Derek who transform into a wolf rather then the werewolf mask we see the alphas, betas and omegas turn to. But Teen Wolf has always taken liberty in their mythology. For one I am still not 100% clear why Derek and Peter have blue eyes.
It's amazing how many teen wolf fans are obsessed with the idea that Scott should kill (or just the idea more people should die). The hero of the show will do pretty much anything to avoid killing, or to stop other people killing. That should be something to be commended.
Much better episode than the one that came before it! Why do we have to wait until June next year! :'( That just sucks! BTW ... please tell me I'm not the only one shipping Parrish and Lydia!! =P
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I hate the fact that Season 5 most likely won't start until June next year (9 months away).
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to go curl up and cry with the Sherlock fandom now.

Before I watch this I need to prepare myself, how much screen time was dedicated to Liam instead of good characters?
ReplyDeleteLess then last episode for sure
ReplyDeleteDid Scott's speed fight moves (when he starts deflecting Peter's punches) remind you of Keanu Reeves in Matrix? lol
ReplyDeleteI'm with you about the table. That would have been cool.
Oh! Oh! You just reminded me. Did you get the feeling that Malia has seen Star Wars? For some reason that just tickled me.
I hope so. I'm sure Stiles would of shown it during a date or 2.
ReplyDeleteI guess the question is did Malia look at Stiles to see his reaction to such a shock again, or was she wondering where to get it also?
awesome season finale the stiles, malia, stillinski hug was sooooo cute and lol at stiles, scott being a complete badass and i loved his line to peter" you were never an alpha but you were always a monster", i never honestly though derek died because i thought it was too soon in the episode and i thought the wolf the desert wolf not derek so that was an awesome surprise, i love that liam used scott's line to get him back to normal, the mantra that got liam under conrtrol worries that he'll go to satomi's pack

I think they probably factored in ads at MTV and then said it was 1 hour and 15 minutes instead of the actual timeframe of 52 minutes :)
ReplyDeleteyeah, but 23 minutes for ads? It's too much, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteDon't understand how Scott all of sudden was able to control himself and rip off the berserker skull because Liam reminded him he is a werewolf, it seems like that should have been a bigger moment, more of a struggle or a good time to use Scott's mantra "be your own anchor"

The showed the Kanima, the R is a K. Peter Hale said once that its next level of development has wings.
ReplyDeleteDerek isn't dead!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's mostly what I take from the finale.
LOL Stiles got handcuffed and his dad took Malia to dinner! I'm glad to see Malia get constant loving parental attention because she's probably going to need it.

IMO it was really boring and what is worse none of villains died, so I choose to quit now, as I still can recall old good times of Teen Wolf.
ReplyDeleteTrue Scott will eventually kill depending on Jeff D that guy could do anything.

ah shit... bummer why didn't they give us a sneak peak at some other beast just for fun.
ReplyDeletewhat he said was the new mantra, I am a werewolf! self acceptance to the max.
ReplyDeleteDidn't like this season at all.
