  1. So far Setrakian and Fet are the stars of this series (No Spoilers). Their scenes are the best for me! 4 A KILLER STRAIN, I am still Nobody!!!

  3. I agree Setrakian and Fet are the heroes. I dislike Eph.

  4. I thought it was a good ep. I liked the ending scene and finally seeing the main vampire creature's face. And the flashbacks were interesting, too.

  5. Yup, althouh Eichorst's real face at the beginning of episode 3 was way creepier (IMO) than the Master's one.

  6. Eph's hairstyle needs to be its own character in this show. Its part Billy Zane part... not sure.

  7. Disappointed with the way that the master looked. Looks way cooler under the cloak. Good episode. I really like Abraham and Fet.

  8. gave it a good, like most, Fet and Setrakian are the best parts of the show for me, the other characters are kind of annoying/disappointing thus far. I like the flashbacks, but I wish they would be set in the context of Setrakian explaining how/why he is an expert in dealing with this to alleviate the other's skepticism... a couple of nitpicks with the ep: the Nora/Eph hookup sequence felt odd as even though they could both some release, you'd think that they'd be more focused in getting things done to fight this "epidemic", and Eph's kid seemed too relaxed with the situation and not scared enough (even watching his father chop his mother's monster boyfriend's head off with a shovel)..

  9. If they stick to the script, there is a very specific reason The Master looks that way.

  10. Finally, after 8 episodes, we see The Master's face!

Very bat-like with a "Nosferatu" vibe!

  11. Who should we award the "Stupid People of the Week" award to? I don't I've seen one today this week.

  12. Those damn cops... seriously. Their ineptitude might be the most realistic part of the series so far.

  13. Wow, decapitating your ex-wife's new boyfriend then having sex in her bed with your hot Latin girlfriend. Its like the ultimate revenge fantasy for an ex-husband.

  14. That was completey and utterly tacky
Having sex in your ex wife's bed... what an ass..and Nora Is Still Week By Week By Week Making ME Hope and pray she gets bit
    She so dammed annoying

  15. This show is awesome! By far my fav new show of the summer. I have to agree that Nora's character is a bit annoying but the scenes with her and Fet are for the most part hilarious.

The one thing that I disliked about the episode though was Eph's kid. The actor is just brutal to watch, I could read the back of a cereal box with more emotion. Take a note from Extant the actor who plays Halle Berry's son is incredible. Its not to late find a kid who can actually act his way out of a paper bag instead of one who might as well been wearing one over his head the entire episode.

  16. I was torn between the BFF and the cops but the BFF came back to Eph's ex's house twice without getting infected so she's off the hook...for now.

  17. I voted "Great."

I'm a tad disappointed about the Master's face. I'd thought it was a bit cartoony looking. Maybe that's just me, though.

  18. Don't get your hopes up. She survives the entire trilogy.

  19. I think he looked somewhat what I imagined he would look, but I agree about the "Great", this episode was a bit disappointing.

  20. If it makes you feel any better, she does lose her whole "I don't want to kill infected people" attitude in the second book.

  21. I get that that the producers were going for an Orlock type look when designing the Master's face (consistent with the way he's depicted in the book), but honestly, I was hoping for something a little more skull-like.

    Something like this: http://beyondthegraveproductions.com/?product=orlock-flesh

  24. The guy who plays the master must be over 6ft and probably takes hours of make up. my ass would get numb by the time the make team is done lol
