boring. They were trying to make viewers feel for the loss of the Goodweather family with the turning of Kelly, but the writing isn't strong enough to get those emotions through. Instead the whole episode felt like such a drag.
I liked the episode, but feel they're being dragged out. Eph is still and azz (and I don't care about his family, who this story hinges on). Where's Gus?
Most emotional episode yet. I felt so sad for Kelly despite not knowing much about her previously. The writing was pretty good, much better than last week's. Now we're nearing the end and it's about to get crazy, unfortunately for humans.
I loved it. To see Kelly's transformation was quite a trip, especially when she could not only here the living pumping, but also kind of watch their arteries! Crazy awesome representation of her hunger. Then the Master getting to her...
Corey Stoll's performance was spot on, and although Vasily keeps being my number 1, Dutch really stole his thunder this episode: first hitting A-hole Palmer, then running for her life at the first chance of freedom given by Palmer's manservant. Hope she sort of redeems herself on her own now. Also: where is Bolivar??
I thought it was pretty good. It had better writing and it was still interesting. I didn't give a Damn about Kelly, but it was still cool to see slowly transform.
I was sad that Kelly got turned, being a vampire is pretty restrictive and she's basically doomed from now on so I don't see where they can take her character from here apart from flashbacks.
Dutch Velders has quickly risen to become my favourite character on the show, I hope she survives and gets a regular contract next season. The team of survivors is quite male heavy and she's far more empowering than Nora at the moment.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteIt was a neccesary episode, enjoyed it, but you know shit's really going down next week
ReplyDeleteHmmm...Stupid Person of the week goes to Kelly but I did feel bad for her.
ReplyDeleteWeaker episode, but still ok.
ReplyDeleteGood episode, not spectacular, but necessary, after all the master will use Kelly is his favor.
ReplyDeleteA little boring but it was fine.
