I love that Maggie and Meredith are already fighting like sisters but whoa at them not getting along. Should be a fun twist. And hopefully Richard will be able to confide in Amelia.
They brought in Geena Davis for that? Really? One fleeting scene? And can ALL of Meredith's half-siblings just show up already so that we can keep the ones we like and kill those we don't? Hey, Maybe Molly is in Med School now, and will soon be one of the interns, you know, keep Lexie's legacy going and all that!! The only remotely amusing part was everybody trying to 'date' Hunt. And who didn't see Derek staying back?! I'm still watching, but I can feel myself a little less interested- I'd wait each year for the DVDs to release and binge watch before the new season. I did not even look at the season 10 dvd- A day might soon come when the start of a new season will not affect me either. Not today, but it's coming. I'm sure one viewer will not make a difference, but to me, it's sad, what this show has become. :(
I wanted to love it but it just dragged. Felt more like a filler rather than a premiere. It was definitely weird that Yang was not there especially since she was mentioned so many times this episode. I love Japril but ever since they got married they have gotten boring. Can we get some bathroom sex this season please?! I love Callie and Arizona but they were kind of awkward. Jo and Stephanie Just kind of seem like after thoughts honestly and the writers don't make them look very smart (especially Stephanie). The opening and closing scenes were great but the in between was kind of shaky. Really hope things pick up and fast. Another thing: IDK if I heard it wrong (feel free to connect me if I'm wrong) but I could swear one of the residents said that Yang had just left the day before yet April is already showing when she wasn't in the finale. They have been at this too long to have that much of an inconsistency.
Hold tight I think her role will increase through out the season. I'm betting she will come between Arizona and Callie as she'll have feelings for her 'student'.
It was odd to watch it without Christina but it was nicely done. It set up so many stories and I fairly enjoyed it. Kelly was quite delivering it last night. Can't wait for Mer to find it out!
I read spoilertv for a long time but never once have I left a comment. Just watched episode and at the end... The scene in the bar and with tequilla. For i minute i thought that maybe we will be getting our old great Greys back! Dark and twisty :)
I gave it ok. I was really looking forward to the premiere but for some reason it felt flat. Maybe I'm missing Yang? Lets see how the next few eps go...
Callie really needs a reality check if she still doesn't see all is not right in her marriage.I hope Arizona does go back to school if that is what she really wants.
well it was a great start! i really loved it, but man Yang's absence was highly noted.. So basically, Derek-Meredith and Callie-Arizona are gonna have it tough this season. Let's see how it plays out. I know Callie and Arizona have been having some real issues from the start, but they should really leave them alone. I like them as a couple, and it don't want them to turn into "Crowen".
I love Mer and Alex's friendship so much! I think is the only positive thing about Yang leaving. Also, Bailey's entitled attitude is getting old, she used to be a great character but now she's just annoying with her self rightfulness . I really hope she doesn't get the board seat.
Don't get me wrong I miss yang, and will miss her for the rest of Grey's, but last season I missed Meredith. I know she had her storylines last season but I feel they were secondary to other, so for me I was glad to see her back in the forefront.
That was a really good premiere. Sure I missed Cristina, but It was still a really good episode.
I thought it was a little weird to see Geena Davis's character pop-up like that and I thought it was really weird that she completely ignored Callie like she wasn't even there.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

Great start, I liked a lot, I love Yang, but I don't miss her, time to move on and GA did great so far with the plots.
